We had the besttt time here. The rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable and luxurious. The balcony is lovely with beautiful forest view. The spa too was amazing, we totally enjoyed it. The staff is friendly , very kind and helpful. I want to thank Charan, Ajay, Sai, Mr. Sajji & Vinay for their hospitality and service. We wouldn’t have enjoyed this property without them and their hospitality. Thank you to the whole team and my new friend Charan for hosting us and giving us a great experience.

Overall mixed experience — beautiful place but disappointing service The hotel itself is undeniably beautiful the grounds, the views, and the atmosphere are lovely. The restaurant food was genuinely good, and the overall setting feels special. That part deserves credit. However, our experience was overshadowed by an issue that really shouldn’t happen at a hotel of this standard. We informed the reception that we were on our honeymoon, and instead of being congratulated or offered anything welcoming, we were told that honeymoon benefits are only given if the marriage certificate is within 6 months. Honestly, this policy makes no sense. Many couples save and plan their honeymoon well after the wedding and no other hotel we stayed at on this trip had such a rigid rule. In fact, we stayed at different hotels across all three main islands for our island-hopping trip (4 nights in each), and every single one of them made us feel welcomed and celebrated. This was the only hotel where we felt dismissed, and unfortunately, it made this the least enjoyable stay of our entire Seychelles trip. The receptionist didn’t seem trained to handle the situation, and we ended up having to speak to the reception manager, who simply repeated the policy then fixed the situation out of good will! As for the room, it was fine overall, but we found it filled with ants!! not what you expect from a hotel at this price point. It’s a beautiful property, but for the price and reputation, the service and guest care really need to improve. Small acts of kindness and flexibility go a long way in creating a memorable stay, especially for guests celebrating something as important as their honeymoon.

Unfortunately, this hotel is not the price Worth. The hotel is generally well maintained and looks nice but thats all. E.g. we had New Year's Eve Dinner and paid incredible 360€ for 2 people without drinks. the dinner was okay, but not more. Unfortunately, some things weren't tasty at all or were already completely cold. I have to praise the breakfast very much, but especially with the yoghurt and the fruit can also happen that things are spoiled. In my opinion, this should not happen in a 4 star luxury hotel. What was the worst was the reception. With the exception of 2 people, the employees there were so extremely unfriendly and unmotivated, I've rarely experienced anything like that. There is also no welcome drink at check-in (although the night costs over 400€ in the standard room - no villa). I felt like I was a burden to the hotel and the staff at the front desk just wanted to have their peace. At least there was a late check out for a fee - thank you. The beach is not nice but the hotel can't do anything about that. The Room was ok but not more. All in all ok but too expensive.

Very nice hotel for La Digue with pros and cons: PROS - Very friendly people at breakfast restaurant. - Beds are comfortable - The rooms are excellent and very clean - The pool excellent - Good location - Very quiet, you can sleep in total silence CONS - We didn't like the attitude of the lady in the reception that you see in the picture, she was not interested at all to find solutions to any problem that arises. Our suggestion is to avoid her. - The food in the island in general was awful, in this hotel the food was expensive and highly seasoned and the quality leaves much to be desired. - The beach in this hotel has lot of rocks (this is an issue in most of the beaches in this island), don't expect to enjoy it like you will do in Prasline or Mahe. - Internet worked pretty good most of the times except for the last 2 days where is was pretty bad.

We loved this place. It’s beautiful, right on the beach with accessibility to the rest of La Digue and has great breakfast/dinner and a cool pool with a bar in the water. The room was large with a beautiful patio. Though what I really want to review is the amazing staff. I thought the service was great before but on our last day it was above and beyond. I got a really severe sunburn on our last day, blistering and left me in tears. Upon seeing my visible pain, they jumped into action. Vinay and staff brought the buffet breakfast we chose to our table, and Isette from breakfast and Terrence from the garden applied ice and aloe to my shoulder while I drank my coffee, offering helpful advice and leaving me with extra aloe. The overall manager was great too. I can’t thank them enough for the crazy maximum effort to make me feel comfortable. While I didn’t want our honeymoon to end this way, the pain will go away, my feeling about their kindness will not. I know your experience with the staff will be great, minus the bad sunburn!

What immediately stands out at Le Domaine de L‘Orangeraie Resort & Spa is the warm, family-like atmosphere among the staff. From the manager to the housekeeping team, everyone is always approachable, helpful, and attentive. We stayed at the resort over New Year’s Eve (2025–2026), and the experience was simply outstanding. Especially on that evening, it was clear how dedicated each and every staff member was to making the guests’ stay absolutely perfect. During our ten-day stay, live music accompanied dinner on many evenings. Particularly memorable was the traditional local group from La Digue. This is what makes Le Domaine de L‘Orangeraie Resort & Spa truly special and sets it apart from many other resorts: it actively embraces and incorporates the local, Creole culture, giving guests a genuinely authentic and beautiful impression of the destination. We stayed in a “luxury treehouse” with a breathtaking view. The villa was full of charming details and local character. A real highlight was the outdoor bathroom—luxury meets cozy comfort. Now to the food itself: it was by far the best we have ever experienced. Every meal was varied, delicious, and full of flavor—a true culinary delight, served by a very charming and attentive team. Special thanks to: Shaji , Dhanji, Vinau, Kurtish, Bright, Jakir, Thushira, Annit, Manish, Sai-Mahesh, Rohit, June, Emon, our friendly housekeepers, and the rest of the amazing team. (I hope I spelled all the names correctly!) Once again, thank you all for your kind and friendly ways. It’s not something to be taken for granted, and it deserves recognition. We already miss you! 😊

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Like Marina Bay Sands but in a different way 😊 how can you compare? We had a villa high up (214) with a stunning view and a great balcony. I like bathroom with open air ( no roof ) like here in the shower. Good excercise to walk the steep hill or use the golf cart service. The breakfast is great. It is a brunch with several varm dishes as well as good selection of fruits. Food in Seychelles is not as good as some other parts of the world, but this breakfast is absolutely ok. I would not recommend this for staying with kids. It is more suited for grown ups with deep pool et c. A extra thumbs up for the gong-gong man that was so calm and helpful.

Great stay at le domaine de l'orangerie. The welcoming was good , our room was perfect Food quality was excellent Server attentiveness and server timeliness need to improve. The buffet restaurant seems to need more staff. Drinks orders take time and the table clearance is not done time to time( Stacks of plate on the table) Thanks to Sai Meshen( young waiter in the buffet restaurant) was excellent.
