This property is beautiful. Quiet, private and peaceful. Delphine met us with a very warm welcome and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. We booked as a stop over before the ferry @ Calais but really could have stayed more than 1 night it's so lovely here.

I found this place after looking for hotels near the Canadian War Memorial. It was a lovely hotel with large spacious rooms that are very well kept. The hotel only has a few rooms, so its great if you want some quiet time and we were lucky to arrive when there were no other bookings. The breakfast is simple but very tasty and Delphine is a fantastic host. She was giving us suggestions of sites to visit, places to eat and shop as soon as she picked us up from the train station. If you are a Canadian looking at visiting the nearby memorials this is a great location the you can even hike to the Vimy Nation Monument from, stopping by some of the smaller and less visited cemeteries on the way. The town itself is has some stores that stock some excellent food and is very pleasant overall.

Very peaceful location, with wildlife visiting the grounds and friendly chickens roaming! Lovely owner, high quality breakfast, and well appointed, tasteful rooms. Only 20 minutes from the beautiful town of Arras with lots of bars and restaurants. This will become our go-to place for stopovers when driving to the continent. We highly recommend it.

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at the Domaine des Loups one night, with the plan to visit the Lens Louvres museum. The place was a very nice surprise to us. Great location, close to Arras, the world wars memorials,...beautiful and peaceful park, trendy and spacious rooms in a nicely renovated building, and most of all very welcoming and friendly owners. Highly recommended for a stopover in the region.

It's not all bad. The property is set in a nice spacious garden and is very peaceful. The wifi works well. The bed was comfortable.|| This is a guest house and you will need to inform the owner of your arrival time. I was not aware of this necessity, so when I arrived (by car) the gates to the property were locked and nobody was answering the bell. I went off for an hour to have a drink in Souchez. There was only one bar open in this town ('Le Chablis' - don't go there, it is dire!). Still no access when I returned, but luckily Delphine the cleaning lady was passing by and she was able to let me in. The first room I was offered had no table, so it was no use to me as I had work to do. A second room was given, which was OK. When the owner arrived, the first thing he told me was that payment was by cash only - "I have no credit card machine". Now where have I heard this before?!! So if you are thinking of staying here, bring plenty of cash. The Booking.com site says that payment will be taken 24 hours before arrival - but how can that be done if there is no credit card facility? Black mark to Booking.com.The room was cold when I arrived, but Delphine switched on the central heating to 'maximum'. I have to say that the radiator never gave off anything more than a very tepid "heat", with the result that I was very cold during the night. There were no extra blankets provided, so I had to throw my coat over me while in bed.The bathroom does not give tissues, so you have to use toilet paper. The bath itself was very steep and deep, so much so that it was extremely difficult to get up out of a full bath; elderly or weak persons will not be able to get out of this bath! Be warned! Also please be warned that the town of Souchez has two restaurants - Estaminet and Pascale. Both were closed on a Friday night. What sort of restaurant closes on a Friday night? The town is desperate in terms of eating out - there is nothing except a chip shop! I ended up having to take out my car and drive three miles to the nearest restaurant.

We stayed one night with two small children and the owners could not have been more accommodating. We were given a bigger room than we had actually booked and extra towels and toiletries, to ensure we had all we needed. I wish we could have stayed for breakfast but with a long drive ahead we needed to get off early. |The property is very modern and minimalist in style, but comfortable and homely. |If there was anything to improve, I would say lighting could be more practical - it is either very bright, or pitch black at night, there is no way to have some light, e.g. a dimmed lamp or nightlight on. In an unfamiliar place with children this was challenging. Normally we leave the bathroom light on and pull the door almost closed, but with no bathroom door and an open-plan glassed in bathroom, any trip to the loo in the night floods the bedroom with light. A minor point though!

Perfect in every way ! Delfina and “The Director” made us feel very welcome. The attention to detail was exceptional. I particularly loved the morning view of the 2 Woolley sheep in the beautiful gardens. Won’t hesitate to recommend.
