Le Dôme

We stayed at the hotel here and came here for lunch. 1st of all absolutely beautiful hotel. 2nd absolutely gorgeous Bar. Just breathe taking. Amazing service, super attentive. We had the best burger, not only looked beautiful bit tasted amazing too. If you are in lyon wanting to grab a drink and hangout at a beautiful bar, maybe craving a good bacon cheeseburger this is the place for you.

We visited the hotel's famous Le Dome bar for heavy hors d'oeuvres on Easter Sunday. We started with a few hand-crafted cocktails, including the signature Le Dome, an homage to the city's pink pralines, and a classic spicy bloody mary. We chose the Trilogy of Savory Delight to accompany the cocktails and were impressed with a three-tiered presentation of the snacks, reminiscent of our high tea treats in Zürich the prior weekend. Adding a salad and nuts with olives to round out our soiree. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff recommended a chardonnay to go with the food after our cocktails were gone. The staff was extremely attentive but gave us privacy throughout our time there. The space of Le Dome is really stunning. The craftsmanship many centuries ago stands the test of time. The InterContinental Hotel has added modern features to give the space a high degree of class without detracting from the art. If you want to enjoy a Sunday afternoon or any other time, this is a MUST do stop during your time in Lyon.

The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. The service was attentive without being intrusive, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The ambience struck just the right balance, warm, relaxed, and quietly elegant. It’s the perfect spot for an intimate rendezvous or a peaceful meal away from the hustle and bustle

An absolute delight in all regards. Service is impeccable; properly attentive without being intrusive. The cocktails offered run from the traditional to highly curated, inventive taste sensations. We thoroughly enjoyed our “light bite” but could not help but notice the enticing, more filling meal/snacks of nearby diners; perhaps next time! Not to be missed.

Visited during Xmas holidays, stopped in for a festive drink and a quick bite. Very beautifully decorated and the staff were really attentive. The drinks were delicious and presented so nicely. The food was expensive and just ok, we expected more. We had great service and the atmosphere was lovely, it also needed music but I would still recommend it.

(review for the bar service) Highly unrecommended | Overpriced drinks (20€++ for a glass) - I thought the quality will come along the price, but it is not the case for this place. After using their service, I had a feeling that they oversold their products (in my case were the cocktails) - the quality of the drinks didn't meet our expectations like they described in their novel aka the menu. Moreover, the service given by the some staff was not pleasant, especially at the cashier part, we didn't feel welcomed at all by the way the staff talked to us. The place is special+ interesting, but you can find some other places with more beautiful interior design (same thing for the drinks), so definitely won't come back here.

Friendly staff and good service. Lots of people come here for drinks and meet up. A very beautiful ambience with great seating areas. Wonderful decoration around this bar area. The mocktails were very nice. It's accompanied with peanuts and olives. This bar is inside InterContinental Hotel. We had great time there.

If you find yourself in Lyon, this is an absolute must-visit bar — no excuses! The atmosphere is simply incredible, the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem. Since we were staying at the hotel, we had the chance to come back multiple times, and every visit was just as enjoyable as the first. Most of the time our table was taken care of by Melvyn, and honestly, he deserves a shoutout. Exceptionally attentive, genuinely friendly, and always ready with great recommendations — he made each visit even better. Truly one of the highlights of our stay in Lyon. Don’t miss it!

As a hotel guest, I knew I had to stop by. Le Dôme proudly boasts an award-winning drinks menu, winning the Best Hotel Bar in the World award in 2021. Their cocktails are as creative as they are delicious, each a testament to their expertise and passion for mixology. Two standout cocktails on the menu are the "Panthéon" and "Le Dôme." The "Panthéon," a tribute to architect Soufflot, marries St-Germain liqueur, homemade Blanc de Blancs champagne syrup, vodka, white tea, and lemon juice into a refreshing and sophisticated drink. The "Le Dôme," the bar's signature cocktail, pays homage to the city of Lyon. This unique creation features pink praline syrup, vodka, lemon juice, champagne, and a vegan foamer, encapsulating the spirit and essence of Lyon in a glass. However, what truly sets Le Dôme apart is its incredible French architecture. Dining and sipping on award-winning cocktails under the beautifully designed ceiling adds an extra magical touch to the experience. A visit to Le Dôme should be on your Lyon itinerary!

Such a beautiful to get a drink at. We stayed at the Intercontinental for 2 nights and had to get a drink at one of the best bars in the world.

Had some amazing cocktails here at Le Dome, the intercontinental hotel bar. Recently opened in this historical landmark building, the Dôme has a 3 floor high "dome" ceiling, which was absolutely spectacular. Drinks were extremely well made. The espressotini has a hint of coconut flavor. Service was polished.
