Six of us went here to celebrate a colleague's birthday. This is considered to be one of the better restaurants not just in the area, the nearby city of Mons included. I have to say first that it is more expensive than your average restaurant (although I find eating out in Belgium more expensive than just across the border in France or Germany).
Since the Belgian heat wave was upon us, we sat outside on the patio as everybody else did that day for lunch. And there were several people there. (Inside was empty but had a/c so perhaps indoors would have been better.)
I'm not much of a food critic but I know what I like. My main course was the lamb brochette and it was fantastic. (I really forgot what I had for a starter after only a week. Old age must be setting in.) You can find the complete menu on the restaurant's webpage - www.lefaitout.be The best bet would be to order a menu, which goes for just a few Euros under 40.
Overall, it's a very pleasant and professionally run establishment. The food, in my opinion and those with me, was excellent. Oh, they also have their own house beer! Always a plus!!
