Snucked into this restaurant across from the Wine Museum, to shelter from the rain. It’s a decent family restaurant. Edible food, good service even though very crowded. Veal is a bit bland, could be saltier. Value for money and great location (for museum visitors)

Great restaurant just in front of La Cité du Vin. Perfect to combine with your visit to the museum. I have ordered the carbonara and it was very good but the portion could be bigger (it’s France anyway). The staff was very friendly and professional. A little bit overpriced but very convenient when you just finished your visit to the museum and need to eat something. I recommend the place.

Lovely, welcoming staff. Very attentive. Food was 10/10 and extremely good value. We had 2 mains and an alcoholic drink each and it came to £19 each. Would recommend for lunch or dinner!!

Located In Les Halles de Bacalan just opposite La Cité du Vin, Familia Brasserie des Halles, is a great spot for a business lunch in the Bacalan dockside district by the Garonne river; Le Burger Familia (19€), Assiette de Fromages (Selection of French Cheese) (9€), Coca-Cola (3.50€); Burgers served w/ Bread, Lou Gascoun pâté de foie de porc (=pork liver pate) and delicious butter. Consider that the service is already included in the bill;

Not great for vegetarians (no main meal at all). Was hesitant eating here considering the reviews - but we found the food to be actually quite good. We had oysters, stew, duck, and pork belly. All quite good! I thought prices were ok(ish) for the food - but high on the drinks. Nice setting.

We came here for a quick drink on a hot day after visiting the Cité du Vin, as Le Familia is just opposite. Whilst we can’t speak to the food, the drinks were fairly nice (we both went for a fruity mocktail) but the service left a lot to be desired. The man who took our orders and made our drinks did nothing but frown throughout and never looked at or addressed us. This was a real shame and ruined the experience. Le Familia, however, does have a really handy QR code system, allowing you to scan, pay online and leave without having to speak to anyone or wait, which I thought was really nifty. All-in-all, the drinks were really refreshing but the service let everything down.

Good Warehouse atmosphere, but uneven depending on where you are seated. Same for food, uneven. Carpaccio, fries and profiteroles were good, but my friend entrecôte was served cold.

Brasserie type menu, with a warehouse feel like atmosphere. The food is good, though my friend got his entrecôte served cold.

Yelp
I enjoyed my salade familia: with quinoa, vegetables and and a poached egg on top, nice presentation, decent service. Husband said fish & chips were just average. Not a huge selection of food and quite overpriced - with the above mentioned, one coke and one glass of wine =$58€...not worth the money in our opinion.
