⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Le Fer à Cheval, Verbier Le Fer à Cheval is a fantastic spot in Verbier for comforting, well-executed Italian food in a warm and lively setting. The lasagne is an absolute standout — rich, hearty, and beautifully layered with deep flavours, easily one of the best I’ve had in the Alps. The pizza is equally impressive, with a perfectly crisp yet chewy crust, quality ingredients, and generous toppings that make it incredibly satisfying. Add to that the cosy atmosphere and friendly, efficient service, and it’s easy to see why this place is so popular. A must-visit in Verbier if you’re craving excellent Italian comfort food. Highly recommended. Excellent service too!!

"Le Fer á Cheval" is a traditional European cafe located in the heart of Verbier Switzerland serving from 11:00 to 22:00, with a traditional dinner menu starting at 18:30. Serving many pallets, Le Fer á Cheval offeres a wide variety of Pizzas derived from many worldwide cuisines as well; with a variety of wine, beer, and other spirits alongside several nonalcoholic bottled beverages, and soft drinks. To start I ordered the "Tartine de chèvre chaufa miel, confit de figure, salade". This consisted of a lightly toasted large slice of sourdough bread, topped with dollops of warm, mild goat cheese, dried apricots, a fig slice, a halved date, and picked raddish. All this, drizzled in honey. Accompanied with a salad consisting of semi-bitter greens, and the toast's soft consistency, this dish is best eaten with a fork and knife. For my entreé I ordered a pizza topped with Ham, Mushroom, and shredded basil. Served uncut as you are  provided with a fork and steak knife, it is somewhat difficult to cut through the crust, and copious amounts of cheese, which has a fair amount of grease. Overall, it has a nice casual ambiance and the service is relatively quick.

Our favorite place in verbier we went there three times in one week. Everything on the menus was very good. But the following are things you must try. 1.Pulled Pork Burger 2.Pizza (anyone they are all amazing) 3.The beef Tartare (definitely one of the best you will ever have) 4. Veal escalope The place has an amazing vibe whether you’re going there for a drink, lunch or dinner. The staff is amazing.

We come to Verbier numerous times throughout the year, both in the Winter and in the Summer and Le Fer a Cheval does not disappoint at any time!!! Whether it is for a refreshing drink or a delicious meal after a day cycling or hiking or skiing through the mountains the restaurant is fabulous. The food is excellent, always very well prepared and served perfectly. All the staff are very friendly and attentive, and quite happy to listen to my butchered attempt at speaking French! I can only highly recommend this restaurant / bar…. For whatever the occasion, you will not be disappointed!

The dining experience at this establishment was truly exceptional. The ambiance provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable meal. The chicken supreme dish stood out with its remarkable flavor profile, boasting a rich and flavorful sauce complemented by the addition of pumpkin purée. Despite being generously coated in sauce, the chicken retained a distinct charcoal flavor, adding depth to each bite. Furthermore, the creme brulee served as a highlight of the meal, delivering an unparalleled culinary delight. Its creamy texture and perfectly caramelized sugar topping made it one of the finest renditions of creme brulee experienced. Overall, the combination of delectable dishes and inviting ambiance made for an unforgettable dining experience, highly deserving of praise.

Soo good! Apres ski with a beer (zero alcohol, since it was a dry January for us) and croque monsieur on the sunny terrace was the best!

Very good choice in Verbier. Cool locale restaurant. Excellent service. We had family bring us and it was a lovely experience. My husband had the Parmesan encrusted pork that was a special that night. The starter was a perfect bite of shrimp salad on toast with frise. Excellent quality. The Parmesan crust on the pork was amazing I had the tandoori chicken pizza. Cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Nice thin, crisp crust. My niece had the hamburger with frites and after we all tried a bite it was so perfectly cooked and the beef was so flavorful she was lucky she got to keep any of it. Overall a very nice experience.

Sure you can spend much more money for food in Verbier - but will you get better food? Ok, it is not a nice restaurant. Very crowded, loud, two slots to reserve a table: 19:30 or 21:00 - and they ask you to leave for the second wave. Not a place to.invent your parents for dinner. But great value for money. We had lamb (carré d'agneau) from the daily special - and this was a dream.

The best pasta carbonara and lasagne I have ever tasted as they use fresh pasta. Very good prices. Unfortunately, was quite surprised when it came time to pay the check and I noted I was charged for a full order of lasagne when I had ordered a half-order. When I asked about the charge, the bar tender rudely told me "well, why do you complain now as you ate the whole order?"Not a good way to speak to your clientele!! I had not in fact eaten the whole order, but having never ordered the item there, did not have a reference to know whether I was eating a full or half order. Odd as I had ordered the half order of pasta for my son, which came correctly. Also, I asked for tap water and was instead served a Fr 10 bottle of Evian so buyer beware...

Had a bacon cheese burger for lunch at this place, it was great, perfectly cooked, nice cheese, great crusty fluffy buns, everything on point, washed it down with a Guinness IPA, definitely hit the spot!
