EDIT: In the reply below, the owner claims that it is indicated on their website that they are closed on 24/12. It was in fact not indicated at the time of booking, and also not today (I trust that they will rapidly add this information now). They also claim to not have been working with Tablebooker for a long time, but the link was definitely on their website when I booked (otherwise I would not even have known about Tablebooker, which I hadn't heard of before). It is a sad state of affairs when business owners use an "apologetic" reply to in fact blame the customer for the situation.
Stay very, very far away from this place. They accepted our booking for Christmas eve on 27 October and apparently only now, on 11 December, realise that they will be closed that day. To add insult to injury, they don't even have the courtesy to call us - they cancel by anonymous e-mail. This means we cannot find an alternative anymore and we will probably have to cancel our stay in Durbuy completely. Funnily enough they still appear to be taking bookings for that day on Tablebooker. Total incompetence. Le fou indeed.
