Le goût des choses

We accidentally came across this restaurant when browsing through the city. Intrigued by the menu and good reviews, we made a dinner reservation for the same night and were friendly welcomed by the hostess.We choose the three course menu and very much enjoyed our dinner. All flavors were well-balanced and dishes were served with care. We however had expected the kitchen to be less classic and a little more progressive but nevertheless very much appreciated the food. Service was smooth and friendly, but time between the courses being served was a little too short. Overall a very nice experience.

Good quality but small portion if you have big appetite and somehow expensive

Along a street with several restaurants this one stood up as being a little bit more “sophisticated”. The food was really good and fresh. Some traditional cooking with creative touches. My partner had the “formula” menu with starter and main course and I had the one with main course and dessert and it was plenty for us as a late evening meal even if we shared the starter and de dessert. The service was attentive even if there were only two people serving an entire restaurant. Should definitely be tried…!!

Meow!! My family of four had a lovely lunch here. The steak was amazing with woody and Smokey flavours. The tuna belly woah! The sauce was creamy and amazing. The food and wines are beautiful. The desserts also delicious. Lovely service and ambience. Thank you! 5 paws 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

My friend and I were the only ones coming in for a early dinner on Friday night, which is crazy because the restaurant was delicious. We had their set 3-course menu and everything we had was impeccable, well cooked and delicious. We had the salmon appetizer, seafood meli-melo and risotto (amazing) and the coconut entremet and chocolate praline croustillant, which we highly recommend! The service was great, the waitress was very nice, spoke English well, and tolerated my mediocre French

One of the best meals we ever had. The daily meals were incredible and the desserts were simply delightful. I would strongly recommend it to anyone. Also, the owners manage to make everyone feel amazing.

Not only was this one of the best meals we’ve had in france, the service was also out of this world. Our waiter, who partially owned the resturant, went out of her way to translate the menu for us, while the chef came out to make sure everything tasted good. I couldn’t recommend a trip here more, it was phenomenal!

Really nice food and friendly service, however a tad bit pricey - which is perfectly usual for a Michelin-rated restaurant. Their wines were amazing, too. Would definitely recommend.

This is the best place we had in our 4 nights in Marseille. I had the Duck breast sautéed minute with cashew nuts and satay, which is basically a deconstructed Indonesian satay done perfectly. Highly recommended!
