The hotel is a little hard to find amidst the one-way streets in downtown Grenoble. However, the location is great and right in the middle of things. Very easy to walk to the Telepherique and lots of restaurants.||The staff at the hotel was great bringing me extra towels and cutlery so we could eat breakfast in our room after purchasing food at the local Monoprix, right across the street.||We really liked the free sparkling water in the lobby area. You could take a carafe to your room.

Great location in centre of Historic town. Easy walking to explore cafes, restaurants and amazing architecture. We had a lovely balcony and well appointed room including a modern and spacious bathroom. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel was easily accessible using a wheelchair. Overall a perfect stay.

The Grand Hotel Grenoble was a hotel that really surprised me. It is located in a tourist area of ​​the city where you can explore the city on foot. It is centrally located, the room is quiet, large and very comfortable. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is excellent. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Best hotel to stay at when traveling to Grenoble for work. It is located in the heart of downtown. The hotel is surrounded by numerous shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants that are excellent. The hotel staff, rooms, and breakfast are top notch. The staff will do everything they can to make your stay to be comfortable and satisfactory. They are always professional and courteous. I want to personally thank Tracy for being so kind and flexible with my requests. From fixing little issues with the room to adjusting my reservations. Thank you for making my experience awesome.

Very central great position in the city. Reduced rates at the local underground car park. Had a sweet little balcony overlooking the roof tops. Clean, modern rooms would say more 3 star then 4. Unable to comment on breakfast as not taken at 21 euros per person.

Great location, great staff and clean rooms. Lovely small hotel in the perfect location for enjoyment. Restaurants, transportation and sightseeing. A big shout out to Tracy and Wendy who are wonderful to deal with. Would stay for a third time.

First visit to this hotel. Basic 4 star in the heart of town. Missing some key facilities such as a gym (they have a 10e) agreement with a local gym. Room was fine but the door handle was fitted incorrectly (see picture) in the bathroom (218). Missed breakfast and no option to have room service etc. staff friendly.

I would sleep on a park bench before I would stay at the Best Western Grand Hotel Genoble. Simply this hotel is not safe to stay at due to the employees and management there. ||The first issue I experienced was employees will come in your room for no reason. In my case they came into my room while I was showering, and I was quite disturbed to come out of the bathroom naked to find two men in the room. Supposedly these were repair men, but they seemed to be simply examining my belongings when I came out of the bathroom. ||The second issue was the response of the hotel to this egregious invasion of my privacy. The lies and efforts to invalidate/minimize my displeasure with people in my room seeing me naked was horrifying. There was zero reason for anyone to be in my room. I was checking out within the next hour. There was nothing malfunctioning or broken in my room. All my belongings were out in the room. The shower is very loud in this small room. There is no way to come into the room and not hear the shower running or notice when it was turned off. My keycard was in the electrical activation switch, so I had to be in the room. And even before coming in the room- you can hear the shower running in the hallway. ||||But the response from customer service department was disgusting. Her repeated attempts at discounting or ignoring my questions about why anyone was in my room while I showered were deeply offensive. How someone like her ever got into a position of customer service is disturbing since she seems to not know how to relate to the hotel guests. ||The response was that they offered me a $50 pittance for invading my privacy and their employees seeing me naked. This pittance was simply further insulting/hurtful and an indicator of what value the hotel manager puts to the guests. ||||If total disregard for your privacy is what you want - this is the place for you.

We had a wonderful time at Le Grand Hotel, my husband's business meeting and this hotel is the perfect location. We had such and amazing experience and excellent welcome by Tracy & young strong girl who helped us with our luggage. They were both so welcoming, friendly, professional, hardworking and very nice. Tracy was very helpful with information and recommendations for dining and shopping. The next morning Camille saved me by lending me a plug in kettle to make my Armenian coffee that I must have . You won't regret your stay at Le Grand Hotel we will definitely be back and my husband had referred his colleagues to stay at this hotel. Enjoy the pictures

This is one of our favorite hotels in France. We will have stayed in 8 hotels throughout the country at the end of our journey. The staff was so nice and helpful. Not like some hotels where the staff are like Jekyll and Hyde, some are nice and some are nasty. Our room was spacious, a classic double room with a balcony. The bathroom mirror had a built-in magnifying mirror. The bed had a lot of big pillows and a thick mattress pad. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Lots of selections. The employee can also make an egg to order.
