We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in the centre of Grenoble. The location is perfect for exploring the city, with shops, restaurants, and transport all within easy walking distance. The room was modern and well maintained, with up-to-date furnishings and thoughtful touches like a coffee machine and a small mini bar. The wet room–style shower and toilet were clean and spacious, adding to the overall contemporary feel. A real highlight was the balcony, which offered beautiful mountain views — a lovely bonus, especially in the winter. The room also had air conditioning, which unfortunately wasn’t working during our stay, but in December it really wasn’t an issue at all. Overall, a comfortable and stylish hotel in a fantastic central location. We’d happily stay here again.

I stayed 2 nights at the grand hotel and I had a good experience.||The rooms were refurbished not too long ago and were clean, quite spacious. The bedding was good, the mattress super comfortable.|The only down for me was the room temperature was 25 degrees. The heat controls were not working properly. I tried to bring it down to 19 and it was not doing it. I alerted the front desk before i went out and they said they'd monitor it . By the time I came back hours later it was still 25 degrees, so i struggled to sleep.|My room faced rue de la Republique, but as it's closed to traffic, there was not much noise...I could just hear a few people speaking "in the distance", the double glazing did its job. The noise realy was not a problem and I am a light sleeper.|The hotel is bang in the town centre and a minute walk to the Tramway which will take you to the Station. Nearby (ie 1mn walk) you'll find a Starbucks, a Croissanterie if you want a coffee and pastries, and a MONOPRIX for your toiletries and other bits, a pharmacy, a sushi take away. A bit further you'll find a carrefour City (4mn walk) and lots and lots of clothes shops, restaurants, bars etc|Breakfast comes with 2 options: €12 for pastries and coffee, of €21 for the breakfast buffet. ||Whilst the room has a coffee machine and a couple of coffee pods, I would have liked to have some tea......|The room had a large screen TV, USB ports for charging phones etc, a small desk and shelves for your handbag etc, a mini bar, a safe, and storage space for your clothing.|Towels were fresh and soft|Shower pressure is more than enough and you have an overhead shower head and a handheld shower head. Shampoo and shower gel are complimentary, as well as soap and body cream by the sink.|Blackout curtains are good, I was able to have a nap late aternoon without the light disturbing me (nor the street hubbub).||Overall, I am pleased with my stay and will come back.

The hotel is a little hard to find amidst the one-way streets in downtown Grenoble. However, the location is great and right in the middle of things. Very easy to walk to the Telepherique and lots of restaurants.||The staff at the hotel was great bringing me extra towels and cutlery so we could eat breakfast in our room after purchasing food at the local Monoprix, right across the street.||We really liked the free sparkling water in the lobby area. You could take a carafe to your room.

A great location. Lovely hotel and helpful staff. The room was big and clean with comfortable bedding. This is the only place we'd stay in Grenoble.

Great location in centre of Historic town. Easy walking to explore cafes, restaurants and amazing architecture. We had a lovely balcony and well appointed room including a modern and spacious bathroom. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel was easily accessible using a wheelchair. Overall a perfect stay.

Staff was friendly. The room we had was old with bed already sagging in the middle. Location is perfect is it is right in the.middle of the town.

I liked this hotel. Good service and nice staff. Rooms were excellent, showers were the type where you flood the washroom after using it though

The Grand Hotel Grenoble was a hotel that really surprised me. It is located in a tourist area of ​​the city where you can explore the city on foot. It is centrally located, the room is quiet, large and very comfortable. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is excellent. I will definitely return to this hotel.

We had a wonderful time at Le Grand Hotel, my husband's business meeting and this hotel is the perfect location. We had such and amazing experience and excellent welcome by Tracy & young strong girl who helped us with our luggage. They were both so welcoming, friendly, professional, hardworking and very nice. Tracy was very helpful with information and recommendations for dining and shopping. The next morning Camille saved me by lending me a plug in kettle to make my Armenian coffee that I must have . You won't regret your stay at Le Grand Hotel we will definitely be back and my husband had referred his colleagues to stay at this hotel. Enjoy the pictures

This is one of our favorite hotels in France. We will have stayed in 8 hotels throughout the country at the end of our journey. The staff was so nice and helpful. Not like some hotels where the staff are like Jekyll and Hyde, some are nice and some are nasty. Our room was spacious, a classic double room with a balcony. The bathroom mirror had a built-in magnifying mirror. The bed had a lot of big pillows and a thick mattress pad. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Lots of selections. The employee can also make an egg to order.
