We chose this hotel due to location, as it is very close to old town and the city centre. We found parking on the street but there is a public car park 2min away. ||The hotel has its own charm and the receptionist was very pleasant and informative.||We had family room and we are allocated the one in the 2nd floor, so we had views towards old town. ||The room (no 23) was spacious and enough for a family of 4.||The linen was fresh and clean, just the bathroom could do with better cleaning and hence my 4* rating. Towels were clean but some of them looking yellowish from usage. ||They do provide toiletries as well.||No lights in the ceiling so it was a little dark in the room.

The service we received in this hotel is far beyond usual. We strongly recommend it, amongst the sensitive customer care, it is a place that has kept its essence, far from being luxurious its uniqueness and comfortability makes it a special place.

They gave away our reservation after emailing us 1 hr before we arrived. Would not trust them unless you pay in advance which I was not allowed to do when I made the reservation. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The hotel is charming and set very close to the town centre and restaurant area. The room was a generous size and really comfortable. The lady who attended us on arrival was really friendly and extremely helpful. There is a good space to store bicycles. |Everything was really clean. |A couple of small issues have prevented a 5 rating, namely no tea/coffee facilities in the room and the showerhead had seen better days. We paid €7.50 extra per head for breakfast which was a little lacking in fresh produce. |As it was a really warm night we had to sleep with the windows open. The street was really noisy till about 2.00 am. |If we were to stay again we would ask for a room away from the street which is a shame as the views are quite lovely.

Although Dijon itself didn’t excite us much- the hotel was lovely and very close to the centre so we walked everywhere. |It was quite noisy outside at night-time if you have the windows open. |The bed was comfortable. The children were welcomed and the breakfast was a nice selection of continental for a fairly good price and children ate for free.|Parking on the road outside is £4 for 2 hour’s but free between 7pm and 9am

Ideally situated in the old, historic part of Dijon, the Jacquemart is a family-run hotel. Rooms are simple but clean and adequate. Mine looked over the central light shaft - absolutely no noise at night but, of course, no view either! Breakfast was a buffet with plenty to choose from. Dijon is a delightful town - ideal for a city break. The historical centre is within easy walking distance of the main station, though there are small electric buses that run through the pedestrian streets. To go further afield, trams run from the station. The Tourist Office provides lots of guided tours and visits for all tastes (wine and mustard included, naturally!) There are several good restaurants for all budgets, and the huge covered market has plenty for a picnic lunch - there are some very pretty gardens where you can sit down and enjoy your shopping! The Square des Ducs is very central and quiet. The Jardin d'Arcy with its water feature and pond is a lovely spot to rest and admire the world go by.

Our room was maybe the last they had - it was across a rainy and slippery outside place - at the back. Dark, a bit underwhelming. However, the beds were okay and the people very nice. They took the troiuble of advising a restaurant and came to bring my husbands purse with all his credit cards, which he had forgotten at the reception.

This is a reasonable hotel near the city centre. It does not have the poshest appearance or comfort but then that is compensated for by the price.||||The major downsides are that it does not have a lift--and we had two heavy luggage as we were on an extended tour. Taking up the bags to the second floor reminded me of the lug in luggage.||||We skipped the breakfast as there are so many good cafes around.||||We had a quiet room facing inside: no view, but also no noise.||||The room was all right.||||Parking was in a garage away from the hotel. And there is a laundry literally over a block--if you could walk through the block, it would be perhaps two minutes of walking; otherwise, going around would take 7-10 mins.
