Excellent food!! We ordered 3 of the pastas, each one with its unique combination of flavors worked extremely well. The quality of ingredients speak for themselves

Food was good and came very fast. Service was good. The place has no AC, so it was really hot inside.

I got salmon pasta, goat cheese, French cola and coffee. I paid 31 euros total. Prices are good, portions are large for Paris standards and food was delicious. First time I tried French cola and I like it. Pasta was fresh and good quality. Service is also really good. Employees know English.

A 3.5 to 4-star good local restaurant, with freshly made food. Unfortunately, the dishes were nothing to write home about. My veggie pasta was tasty but slightly overcooked & the sauce was a bit on the lighter side, and my friend's salmon barley pasta was ok but a bit too bland. Good thing is that the food came very fast. Slightly disappointing also is that, arriving at 7pm and leaving at 8.30pm the restaurant was still relatively empty (30-40% occupancy only). That was a Wednesday evening. Is it a good or a bad sign?

Well located by the jardin des plantes, this Italian restaurant serves creative fresh home made pastas dishes. 👌 It's pretty tasty and good value for money. 😊

Very cute place with delicious pasta. Simple menu but with ingredients of quality. The fraise Melba topped with crème fraîche was to die for :) I also got to try Farigoule, a Thymian Liquor, with an espresso.

Yelp
Handmade pasta place with good amount of seating and prompt, quick service. Food 3/5: We got 2 pastas, some cheese, and a salad. Overall everything was decent / good but average for the price / area. Rice pasta 2/5: Asian style (soy sauce) vegan pasta with stir fry vegetables. The vegetables were cooked fine but the sauce flavor was too strong. Wheat pasta 4/5: Pasta was cooked well and the sauce was well made / flavored. Good amount of cheese in this one Salad 5/5: Well presented, large, fresh vegetables, and a flavorful but healthy dressing. Service 4/5: Waiter spoke English well and gave prompt service.

Yelp
Our first meal in Paris! :') We were hungry around 9 and luckily it was walking distance from our Airbnb. We ordered a seafood pasta and a salad to share among 3 girls. The salad was very interesting as all the vegetables were cut up to look like curly noodles. The dressing was a little sour, but I'm glad they gave it on the side. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pasta was! It consisted of butter, lemon, olive oil, and it was delicious! The salmon was also cooked perfectly and cut like butter. A great way to start off one of my favorite cities :)

Yelp
Amazing homemade pasta! We randomly found this small gem on Yelp since we were staying two blocks away. It's a very cozy restaurant with a friendly staff. The service was slow on a late night, but we were in no rush. The ambiance was casual and very romantic. We had a very nice and quiet meal here. They have a great selection of various kinds of pasta; chestnut, barley, buckwheat, rye... and they have a great vegetarian selection. We ended up having a complete three course meal and really enjoyed the experience. If you're in the Latin Quarter and want a break from all the French fare, this is an amazing alternative. The meal, as most meals in France, was very affordable.

Yelp
I read about Jardin des Pates and staying so close to it, we had to go. I feel like I'm on repeat here in Paris but ... whoah. To give you an idea how good the food was tonight - here's one way I can tell you: I finished my meal tonight. I N-E-V-E-R finish a meal. I have this incredibly terrible small appetite normally and though I eat all the time, I usually cannot finish a meal in one sitting but I really did it tonight! It's not like the portions were small either. The food was just THAT good. We ordered the buck wheat pasta with mozzarella and tomato sauce and the chestnut pasta with mushrooms and a decadent cream sauce. I kinda died and went to heaven here with both dishes to be honest. So, rumor has it the pasta is freshly made when you order however, it was served fairly quickly so I am not sure but the pasta was just too good, I can't even tell you. The sauces were incredibly flavorful and not overwhelming like so many places in the US tend to do. Tout etait parfait, tout simplement parfait (everything was perfect, just perfect). I'd also like to add the decor is adorable and I found it romantic, quaint and charming. You literally do feel like you're amidst an adorable garden while eating. It's so lovely, I can't even tell you! Jardin des Pates is fantastic. I highly recommend (especially for you vegetarians!) checking it out while in Paris. I'd come back with out thinking twice. Tres bien!

Yelp
Have been staying in the 5th for a few months and thought I'd check Yelp to see if there were any veggie-friendly places in my neighborhood. Turns out there is one on the other side of le Jardin des Plantes, which is just a few long blocks away. The restaurant is very spacious and cute. A couple can have a bit more intimacy without it being overly expensive. I went on a Saturday night and it was barely half full, but everyone eating there seemed to be enjoying themselves. The service was extremely friendly as we moved from outside to inside to escape the spring mosquitos... and didn't look remotely annoyed to set us up with a new table. In fact, they just got friendlier. We tried two vegetarian meals... one was a rice pasta, which was akin to a yakisoba dish with tofu and lots of various vegetables. Very tasty. The other dish was the wheat pasta which tastes a bit like a margherita pizza but on wide noodles instead of pizza dough. It wasn't particularly flavorful, but it was basic and we had no problems finishing both plates. The dessert special was fresh strawberries and homemade whipped creap.. and we got the 3 flavor italian ice cream.... and I had a cognac to go with that. Very tasty desserts and we found ourselves saying, "this is a reall cute place... let's come again." Also, they spoke English quite well as they saw straight past my horrible French.

Yelp
Okay after reading all the fantastic reviews I came and gave this place a try, but sadly I was SORELY disappointed. You are known for pasta so I expect your pasta to be AMAZINGG. I got the soup of the day to start which was butternut. It was a huge bowl and pretty thick. Legit like blended butternut (felt so healthy!), but lacked flavour. For the pasta I chose the barley one with salmon and cream sauce. What on earth. SO horrible! Anyone who gives this place good ratings has clearly never had good pasta in their entire life. The sauce tasted like nothing and literally was like a bit of cream mixed with water. This is the kind of pasta I imagine a lazy guy who plays video games all night makes just to feed himself when he eventually gets hungry (minus the salmon of course). I admit the salmon was well cooked and not dry, so they get points for that. Please do NOT come here to eat pasta in Paris. The worst.

Yelp
Mediocre food with polite staff. Was close to our apartment so convenience was what we were looking for. Buckwheat pasta was decent.

Yelp
Very nice cozy restaurant offering a number of vegan and vegetarian dishes. We had a gigantic plate of vegetables and a rice pasta with tofu, aubergines, mushrooms, etc. the bread, pasta, and vegetables were fresh and homemade. We arrived at 10pm and they had no problem letting us in.

Yelp
Alternative pasta-styles. They've got all kinds of pastas, from rice pasta to chestnut pasta. Crazazy. And it's soooooooooo good! Especially dessert. The dessert was to die. They make their own pastas every day. In fact, I think it said they make the pasta fresh, as you order. And there's tons of local and organic stuff. Me likey. AND the place is cute. AND the service is friendly. AND it's rather on the cheap side! (Main dishes are from 9 to 14€.) A note for the English speakers: If you can read French, use the French part of the menu. There are some items that are just missing from the English part (like they are positive that anglophones don't want thyme liqueur in their coffee), and many items that are weirdly or incompletely translated.

Yelp
We decided to try this place as our first dinner in Paris and were very happy. Excellent experience. The staff was super helpful and the food was really good. Italian/French cuisine. Atmosphere was very nice, seemed like most of the people in the restaurant were locals. Reasonably priced, good wine selection. Would recommend to anyone!

Yelp
Delightful pasta place in the Latin quarter. Great vegetarian options. Also good for gluten free pasta. Delicious food in a very warm and cozy environment.

Yelp
Everything here is homemade. From the pasta noodles themselves to the desserts to the organic juice, every ingredient is fresh and bio. The restaurant is cozy and is situated across Le Jardin des Plantes. Service was friendly, but a bit on the slow side. I recommend this place! I'm going to try all their pasta dishes :)

Yelp
Charming restaurant. Wonderful service and ambiance! If you're craving vegetables... definitely get the green salad. It was fantastic! We also had the salmon and the rice pasta w veggies - both were very fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend trying this place.

Yelp
Very cute little Italian place. We got the pastas with duck confit and with ham and they were very good.

Yelp
I don't review in a negative light easily...but I have been here twice in a few days and I am disappointed. The service was decidedly 'snooty' - maybe because we had limited French...or maybe the waiter was just in a bad mood?? However, I had different waiters on these two days and consequently I can only consider the bad service as part of a general attitude to serving English speaking clientele. Forgive me if I am making a generalisation that is unfounded. Regardless of the service the pasta was tasteless. The Clafoutis was very good though. There were a few service charges we didn't understand, that were not very well explained and as a consequence we did not leave a tip. Overall, disappointing.

Yelp
Mixed review. The gazpacho was crisp fresh luscious as was the avocado with sorbet. Then came the entrees. Sliced precooked duck with raw mushrooms and cream garnished my noodles. A better bet was my companions ham and cheese with zucchini on rye noodles. Overall, not worth revisiting.

Yelp
Such a wonderful, quaint and cozy place! The menu was small, but really didn't need anything else. The pastas are amazing, hand crafted and served to perfection!!!

Yelp
We went here based on reviews, as we were in the area and needing dinner for us and our 2 young boys. I had the recommended pasta dish mentioned in reviews and it was just passable. There was a problem with the order for my oldest boy and the pasta dish that ended coming out was very ordinary. The staff seemed good and attentive, but the kicker was the bill. 114 euros for 4 pasta dishes, salad and some drinks, mainly water and beer? I started to look more closely at the bill and the waitress came across very quickly and started to process it. She had been friendly so I thought nothing of it. I then saw after leaving, the bill was around 80 euros then they put a 20% service charge plus another charge on top, which no other restaurant charged during our stay in Paris. It was a normal week night. We basically were ripped off, so I would give this place a miss, and it's the first time I have ever given a review, sadly not in good circumstances, but as I could not get back there to sort out (it may of been a mistake...) hopefully others will be more cautious.
