cute restaurant with nice outdoor seating in a parisienne bistro setting…however the quality of the food is highly variable. onion soup was well made, sweet onion cooked slowly allowing for depth in flavor, along with french bread toasted with grated cheese. mussels in white wine sauce to be avoided as these are FROZEN from chile so they are fishy tasting and tough. escargot comes from a tin can so no shells and no fresh snails, which are plentiful anywhere all over Saigon. skip this dish. steak with fried potatoes in mushroom sauce was delicious, tender, cooked to medium rare and mushroom sauce was great. french baguettes was crispy and dense with butter. do not order crème brûlée. it is nothing more than a flan right side up, lacking cream in the crème and lacking vanilla flavoring, so the flavor is very eggy!!! fail on this dish. floating island used a boxed pudding mix for the island to float on, so if you want pudding in a box, skip this too as thr pudding tasted like it sat in the fridge for a day and sucked in all the various flavors of things stored in the fridge. i gave feedback to the service people to relay to the cook but was told this is how we have always cooked this by the waitress. feedback is a gift and apparently they don’t care for constructive feedback, and don’t want to improve. buyer beware.

Was it exceptional? No. Was it good? Average. Food Onion soup- Hmm, a bit salty for my taste. And it tastes like the bouillon cubes, exactly that. Steaks- The steaks we got were quite bland. The 400k one was tender but the other was quite tough. The sauces were ok. Not too flavorful and again, the main flavor is the bouillon cubes. Profiteroles - this was rather disappointing. The most expensive dessert on the menu and it tastes like the cheap choux pastry that you get in the convenient store. The best one we have tastes so far were from Cocotte. Staff - waitress: woman of few words, really thought I was in Paris for a moment. Didn’t seem to care to answer to advise clients on the food - parking: after the disappointing dinner, we had to pay for parking which is 10k. Which is the same amount that I left for them.. which think again I should have take those 😬 Great atmosphere tho, when sitting outside. We enjoyed it.

Chance upon this cozy French restaurant in HCMC. The food is great, love the cheese platter, beef cheek and escargot. Unfortunately I could not get an Alfresco seat without advance booking the indoor experience is not to my liking. Recommend to dine here when in HCMC.

We had a very good lunch at Le Jardin in Phu Quoc. The setting is absolutely stunning, right by the seaside with a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. The food was tasty, nicely presented, and service was attentive throughout. A perfect spot to enjoy a meal with ocean views.

The food is great, they have mostly everything from France, but seems like I cannot find the Foie Gras or Ratatouille on the menu. Helpful staff and open area makes me comfort enjoying the dishes here

I have known this restaurant for many years but it seems there is nothing changed since my last visit 3 years ago. The decoration is quite dated, outdoor area is very hot during noon time while the indoor area is lacks of ventilation. Tables are set too tight next to each other while the smell of lemongrass oil is very strong over the room. The main reason to come back is the food. Good quality, taste and reasonable price. Still, I love this place as it brings back some good memories to me.

Recommendations: Onion Soup & Moules marinières Price reasonable and very delicious. All of the dish that we ordered are great! PS. There’s indoor and outdoor seats to choose.

We found this place through Google, and the reviews looked promising — so we made the trip to try it out. The ambience is lovely, with both indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor seating available. Many diners seemed to prefer sitting outdoors. the staff were friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the meal, which made the overall experience more pleasant. We ordered several dishes, mostly based on popular recommendations from other reviewers: 1. White Wine Mussels – Cooked to perfection with a rich, buttery broth. A great start. 2. Onion Soup – Extremely flavourful and easily a must-order. 3. Frog Legs – A bit disappointing. The legs were dry and small, and the flavour didn’t stand out compared to the other dishes. 4. Beef Tournedos – We ordered three (two medium, one medium-well), but all came out medium-well. The meat was slightly tough, lacking the tenderness we expected. 5. Lamb Stew – The biggest letdown. The lamb wasn’t tender, and the vegetables were burnt around the edges. The broth was decent, but overall the dish fell short of expectations. 6. Desserts – We had the apple crumble and caramelised bananas. Both were underwhelming — the crumble was bland and didn’t leave much of an impression. We had hoped for a progressive dining experience, with dishes improving from appetizers to dessert. Instead, it felt like the quality declined as the meal went on. That said, it’s still a nice spot to dine in with a pleasant setting and reasonable prices.
