The duck leg is pretty good! I love this dish the most. The others are good, too. Nothing to complain. We ordered several dishes, like shrimp salad, cheese plate, apple pie, tomatoes, onion soup etc and per person cost around 370K, very reasonable.

Affordable French cuisine that offers good value for money. While the overall experience and service may not be perfect, which is understandable given the price point, the food itself is flavorful and the portions are generous.

REVISITED OPINION after multiple visits : this restaurant is a canteen style French restaurant, the dishes are simple and tasty. It's close to what French people actually eat at a normal casual restaurant, it's not the expensive fine cuisine style. Highly recommend the breaded veal, with the sauce it's a treat (its not the dish in my pictures) I decided to rate it 5 star because it's great to find a nice, non pretentious French restaurant abroad. Bread and dessert could be improved. Wasn't a fan of the charcuterie platter. The dishes were all good though. Nice outdoor seating.

🍷 🍗 🥗 Nice ambiance, solid food, it’s a relaxing vibe in the heart of Saigon. I really like the French onion soup and the Chicken in wine sauce. Recommend it if you’re craving a western meal.

The dishes are authentic, especially the escargots and the duck confit. The salad was decent, while the salmon was a bit dry and heavily plastered with dill sauce. Overall, it was indeed a genuine French culinary experience. With that being said, what this place needs to do is re-training their wait staff, with one in particular took the orders with a condescending attitude and a face that seems incapable of a smile. For a mid scale establishment, the staff here acts like they came from street vendors. Would I recommend this place, for the food yes. Will I be back? Not really.

Le Jardin used to be my favorite French restaurant in Saigon. But going back very recently brought disappointment, perhaps because, precisely, we had been used to such good quality. Dishes were good but nothing remarkable; proportions were questionable (in our case, more meat than needed, with on the opposite very few potatoes). Seasoning left us unimpressed. Same for the house wine, but cannot complain that much on this regard, as it's so much cheaper than the other wines. The decrease of quality showed with the snails that we shared as a starter. The seasoning and the cooking were, again, disappointing - compared to what we had been used to. The review is a bit harsh because this place used to deliver better food in my opinion, and I do wish and believe they will be able to find again the same quality and balance in the meals. Cher Le Jardin, je crois en vous! Donnez-moi raison, redevenez la meilleure adresse pour ce Français expatrié en manque de nourriture de chez lui que je suis!

Worth going out of your way to visit. The tartare, steak frites, and duck confit are highly recommended. Tres delicieux.

I come here at least once every trip to Saigon. It is such a joy to enjoy french cuisine and the staff are so nice every time. I usually get offered a digestive after my 3 dish meal and wine. That's very appreciated as it is traditional in Europe and rarely found in Asia. The French pergola is very breezy and so nice to dine outside in a quiet area of HCMC, Q1.
