We only tried the pistachio flans, but they were so so good! Absolutely perfect for anyone who really loves the taste of flan just top-notch.. The only thing I’m not a big fan of is the 50 cent bag. I don’t mind if it’s included in the price of the dessert, but asking extra for a bag when you take a dessert feels a bit off.

Simply delicious. The vanilla tart was well balanced and flavorful. You will find a nice selection of pastries but also macarons and chocolates. Staff is nice and friendly. Few seatings available outside.

I came for a few Parisien treats and found the right place. There is a nine selection of fine pastry which I will try some other time. The macarons are delicious and especially the ones with lemon were a personal favourite with a great balance of bitterness, sweet and sour. I'll definitely try someone else here.

I’m glad I stopped by here. (Push the door to enter, lest you embarrass yourself like I did). The service was so generous. I received more macarons than I paid for - but don’t go about pestering the staff for freebies because I said this!! The macarons were great, just keep in mind the only seating available at the time of this review is limited to 2 tables, or 4 chairs outside.

If you are looking for a dessert to grab on-the-go, look no further, this patisserie was extremely good, pretty pricey, but the desserts we're gorgeous & very delicious. Their hit is the pistachio tart which is creamy on the inside and both top & bottom are crunchy, with the tart base on the bottom & the pistachios on the top. But their chocolate tart was also amazing. Very filling, but not heavy on the tummy. The service was excellent, the young lady working there was very sweet & gave us a free macaron each, which were really good. They have juices they sell, which were very fruity & soothing on a warm day, plus they also have coffee & matcha drinks on the menu. Definitely a place to try!

Like many travelers, we couldn't wait to indulge in the world of French pastries, exploring everything from the historic grandeur of Stohrer (we found the pastries a bit on the bland side despite the beauty of the shop inside—breathtaking!), to the Insta-famous creations at Cedric Grolet Opera (we skipped the long-lines and prices there), and even the ubiquitous Ladurée (fun fact: their macarons are frozen and not fresh, so we passed). While our search for great pastries and croissants in Paris kept erring on the bland side (we know there are amazing spots we haven’t tried yet except the macarons at Epicure and breads at Le Cinq and Maison Lameloise which were amazing) and making us nostalgic for One65 in San Francisco—our favorite compared to the ones we tried, we stumbled upon a gem that simply blew us away—Le Jardin Sucré. Located at 156 Rue de Courcelles in Paris's 17th arrondissement, Le Jardin Sucré may not be in the heart of the tourist hustle, but it's worth the trek. We had the incredible fortune of meeting a renowned Parisian food writer after our trip who shares our love for this spot—her personal thumbs up made us even more confident in what we found as we could have been biased based on our longing to find a spot before leaving France. Inside this cozy shop, owned by Mélanie and Arnaud Mathez, we discovered a lineup of artful, focused creations: macarons, cookies, pastries, and hot chocolates, etc. Though small (it can only fit 4-5 customers at a time with just a few green tables outside on the street), this place had a steady stream of locals—a potential good sign we’d landed somewhere special but a bit reserved as we felt this way at Mamiche but left underwhelmed by their croissants as it tasted on the bland side despite the perfect structure and craftsmanship of the croissants. We walked out with 6 macarons, 3 pastries, and 2 hot chocolate mixes to go, eager to dive in. The moment we bit into that first macaron; I swore a few times. Each macaron was perfectly crisp, and chewy on the outside, and the inside dissolved like liquid, bursting with the intense flavor of perfectly ripe lemon, or fresh pistachio. We ate all 6 macarons within minutes while walking saying goodbye to each macaron like a precious piece of jewelry. We were smiling from ear to ear. We did it! We found a place! #%$^#*^! That night, back at our hotel, we unwrapped our pastries—a delicate pistachio-orange blossom tart, a tropical "Victoria" with coconut, pineapple, and passionfruit, and a third seasonal delight I couldn’t quite recall. The secret to Le Jardin Sucré’s creations lies in their simplicity and freshness. Each ingredient shines, providing pure, vibrant flavors without the heaviness that often accompanies rich pastries. While milk, eggs, gluten, and gelatin are used for structure and cohesion, it’s never in the foreground in the taste. What you taste are the ripeness and tartness of the fruits, the toastiness of the nuts, and the lightness in the amalgamation of all of these flavors. It’s like getting hit in the face with flavors but never feeling heavy. Even the hot chocolates (incredibly rich and deep in flavor without the overly sugariness of most hot chocolates), now being enjoyed at home, outshone other famous shops like Angelina (yes, we tried it to see what the big deal was and it was okay) by a mile. We’re crossing our fingers they open a shop in San Francisco so that these unforgettable flavors will be closer for annual visits. So, if you find yourself near L'Arc de Triomphe or the 17th arrondissement, take a detour to Le Jardin Sucré. We’ve found our new macaron and pastry benchmark and can’t wait to go back!

The best macarons in the entire world. The personnel are also so nice. We tried a bunch of flavours, their reviews are below: Salted Caramel was chewy, the flavour was amazing. Vanilla was phenomenal, just perfectly light and flavourful. Citrus was so fresh and light. Chocolate and coconut one was great, the coconut flavour was natural and prominent. We didn’t get the chocolate taste so much. The texture was so light and nice. Yuzu was amazing, very fresh. Rose and Framboise was a bit light but you can definitely get the rose notes. Pistachio was not only the best macaron, but I think the best dessert I have ever eaten in my entire life. No words.

Yelp
I think about the pastries I had at Le Jardin Sucre on a trip to Paris a lot. Undeniably some of the best pastries I've ever had, and it's so clear how much thought and care went into the design, flavoring and craft of each pastry. We ordered the pistachio tart, vanilla tart, and yuzu and black sesame macaroons, but wish we had tried more. I also recount to friends, with fondness, about how kind the store employee was in chatting with us and letting us sample different flavors of their amazing macaroons. Such a lovely patisserie!

Yelp
I used the live in the 17th arrondissement in Paris while studying abroad. While I explored my neighborhood there were plenty of macaroon shops along the way, but this one caught my attention. I wandered in and the staff behind the counter politely waited as I browsed the daily flavors and used my best French to order the vanilla macaroon and the rose/raspberry macaroon. Let me tell you, these are the BEST macaroons I have had in Paris. I've been to Laudurée, theirs can be dry. However these were the perfect texture. Crisp but chewy outside, creamy and flavorful inside. Absolute heaven! Plus it was so close to my house so I wound up returning a few times. They are consistently delicious. If you are in the area you must try them. I took mine to the nearby Promenade Pereire and had them with some rosé while journaling in the park. C'est magnifique!

Yelp
I don't speak a lick of French and they were so accommodating and gracious. Bought 5 boxes of their delicious macaroons. They gave me free chocolates. I could tell the thing to buy for the locals was crepes.
