Le Jour & la Nuit

We stayed overnight of the 9th of May 2022, just to make life easier for getting our plane back. The property is situated minutes from the airport. Though you would never know as we did not hear the airport once while we were there.||||Alain met us as we drove in. he gave us a quick tour and told us what to expect for breakfast, he also gave us a metro card each so we would not have to pay for the tram to get into the city. This was very handy as the tram was at the end of the road 3 minutes away and the centre of the city was less than 10 minutes away by tram.||||The room was very well equipped large smart TV, internet, wifi, fridge and microwave. Excellent bathroom with very good shower. ||||Outside the room was a nice little kitchen where we could access our breakfast boxes in the morning. This kitchen was shared by the other two rooms but that proved pleasant as we got to chat with the other guests the next morning.||||The bed was very comfortable above all the room was spotlessly clean which is the most important thing. We had an excellent night sleep.||||Alain was available the next morning when we were ready to check out and we had a lovely chat before settling up and leaving for the airport.||||Not only would I stay here again, I actively want to stay here again, but for longer and visit more of Geneva. We stayed in the top apartment, Montagne. It was charming, convenient, clean and modern with regional decor and all the amenities needed (Nespresso). It’s only a few minutes from the airport and an easy tram ride to downtown (with free tram card from B&B). Allan and Sylvie were outstanding hosts and made us feel like returning family. Included breakfast was super high quality and delicious - fresh pastries, baguettes, cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruit, muesli. Kallie the lab was very cute. Loved it!

I stayed 4 nights in this beautiful house thanks to my friends.The airport was nearby, and I could go to the center while a walk in a beautiful park.The room are clean and perfect. The friendly owner Alain and the beautiful his house and area are amazing. I forgot the tired of long traveling. A quiet morning where I can hear the birds singing, fresh air flows into the room when I open the window. The day begins with a happy feeling. I felt like living in Geneva while feeling nature in this comfortable space.I would recommend a pleasant stay at Le Jour et la Nuit.　Madoka

This bed and breakfast is perfect. We stayed in the Luc room which is beautiful, bright, spacious, and cheery. The decor is classic but modern at the same time. The family that runs this bed and breakfast has truly paid attention to every detail from the complimentary chocolates, water (still and sparkling), transit passes, breakfast, air-conditioning, guidebooks and maps. Even the dishes and cutlery are really nice. The property that it is also beautiful. We loved our stay here and felt at home in Geneva. We would go out of our way to stay here again. Oh it’s also easy to take public transportation into the center of Geneva from there. 10-15 minutes.

I was happy to find a B&B conveniently located close to the airport. Upon arrivaI you are amazed by the beautifully landscaped and privately enclosed property. I stayed in the Montagne suite which has natural lighting, modern features and spaciousness for a family. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good wifi and TV channels. Spotlessly clean throughout. Alain is a gracious knowledgeable host with superb recommendations. A wonderful accommodation as a base for a visit to Geneva or a stay close to Geneva airport .

My husband and I traveled for two weeks in Europe with Geneva being the last stop. We were nicely welcome and given needed information upon arrival regarding the layout of Geneva. The hosts were extremely helpful and available to answer any questions. The space was very clean and modern. Wonderful views of the garden. The breakfast was all you needed: fresh pastries, yogurt, Nepresso/tea, fruit. Also included cereal, cheeses, milk and fresh OJ. Great location away from the busy city but close to the tram to easily get through out Geneva. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely lovely. The rooms and garden were beautiful. The breakfasts made us so happy each day. Alain was so kind and helpful during our stay. It was very hard to leave!

We used to live in Geneva in the Petit Saconnez area of Geneva. For our return visit, we wanted to stay in our same neighborhood and we found Le Jour et La Nuit and we were well-pleased. We could walk everywhere or easily catch public transportation. Alain picked us up at the airport which was great after a long flight from San Francisco. He even gave us free transportation passes for the duration of our visit. We stayed in the downstairs apartment just next door to the main house. It was quiet, private and spacious. We loved it and when we go to Geneva again we will stay there!!
