Le Labo, Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Ngee Ann City

I’d like to leave a compliment for Angell at Le Labo. She was incredibly warm, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. She took the time to understand my preferences, offered thoughtful recommendations without being pushy, and explained the scents in a way that made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. Her service was genuinely impressive — calm, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. Thank you, Angell, for making my shopping experience such a pleasant one.

Don't usually write reviews, but I love Le Labo. I came to test the City Exclusives line and was greeted well by this one staff. She introduced me around, giving me suggestions on the familiarity of notes, scent for different seasons and giving me recommendations based on my preference. She's very attentive and you can tell she knows her stuff well. So I had to asked for her name, and I believe she said, Angel ? Wonderful staff, exceptional service. And for the City Exclusive line, I think it's wonderful that Le Labo has seperate lines of perfumes that able to make me more excited about this brand. The City Exclusives didn't disappoint at all, many great ones like Mousse, Cedrat, Gaiac, Coriandre, Myrrhe, Citron and Limette. Tried the new (Osmanthus 19), it was alright. Overall, great experience from this Le Labo branch in Ngee Ann City. Bought 8 bottle of the 1.5ml one today cause they smell really really good. Will consider to actually buy a full bottle of city exclusive next month.

I visited Le Labo to look for some giftings options. It was around 11am and the store is already crowded with around 5-6 guests. The service was good when the male customer assistant try to spend time with all the guests and answer all of the questions. I came to the store to try on other fragrances not Another 13 and Santal 33. They are not my vibe (and perfume is very personal). Finally, found my favourite - Thé Matcha 26 and Thé Noir 29. (and yes, I am a big fan of tea perfume) I also bought a curated set of Another 13, Santal 33, and The Noir 29 with only 100sgd with engraving service. Such a value for money set. Just hope that they will allow us to pick and choose the fragrances - maybe the idea for next year holiday season?

Francis was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, he made me feel welcomed and comfortable. He patiently explained the scents, shared his knowledge, and guided me through the experience without ever being pushy. His warm personality and professionalism truly made my visit memorable. Honestly the experience was pretty bad, I’d pick the MBS store if you want better service. I was sampling the perfumes and honestly felt like they were being stingy with it and weren’t very helpful at all. Barely knew any of the notes of the perfumes, didn’t give any recommendations, literally just stood there and gave me a stingy amount of sprays. When I sampled the last perfume she told me to just smell the default paper they had out, didn’t even offer to try it out or anything on my skin. I wanted a perfume there and seriously considered not purchasing it because it put me off so badly. For the price range and in comparison with the Diptyque and Byredo stores nearby it was a night and day difference.

Came for the city exclusive, left with a not-so-exclusive experience :(( Today the service was above 0% because I purchased sth. Perhaps slightly better than a cha chaan teng in Hong Kong? Well, customers don’t owe the shop assistant anything, right?

I’d like to give a special commendation to Angel for her wonderful service and attentiveness during my visit at Takashimaya. I first met her at the Raffles City pop-up, where she introduced me to the City Exclusives samples. She took the time to understand my preferences and recommended scents thoughtfully. Her warm smile and friendly approach made me feel more like a friend than just a customer. When I returned to the pop-up the second time, Angel still remembered me, which made the experience even more personal. Now that she’s at Takashimaya, nothing has changed—her service is still just as genuine and welcoming. The moment I called out to her, she immediately recognized me, and I was happy to support her again by getting more samples after a year. I’ve always loved Le Labo scents, but it’s really Angel’s attentiveness and kindness that make me want to return as a loyal customer.
