The atmosphere and ambience of the place was so comforting and cozy. The owners were also really nice, very great service. We ordered the escargot, beef tartare, duck, and chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream and they were all amazing. Highly recommend this place!

Google
Found this place but it’s 4 star rating deserves 5 stars!! The escargot and bone marrow were amazing. Nice size snails and they were cooked to perfection! The fish ratatouille was outstanding, I used the French bread to soak up the sauce, amazing flavors. The homemade pears and apple tart was delicious! Making this last day in Paris dinner exceptional! Thank you!!

Very welcoming from the start. Delicious food, was really fresh. Ordere d the Butcher's steak, chicken, snails and fries. Price of the food is good value for what it was worth. Thank you to the chef. Drinks were freshly made and squeezed ordered the orange and lemon juice. Thank you to the staff members they were absolutely amazing and patient. Will definitely come again.

Excellent food! Much better than you expect from brasserie! Excellent service! Definitely come back again And the cherry on the top - they have Abele champagne in their wine list, even by glass. It’s wonderful!

We ate 2 entrées, 3 main dishes and 1 dessert in this small cosy place. It was fantastic. Great price per value, big portions. The duck is excellent. The fish was great. The beef tartar was good. The bone marrow and onion soup were great. The dessert which I can't pronounce was also great. 5/5 no complaints, and I would love to come here again

Google
Great service. Great food for a very reasonable price looking at the location. Really enjoyed it. We had the onion soup, escargot, steak tartaar and the margrat de canard. The picture says it all. This is a keeper

Google
The waiter got our order wrong twice. Also, both waiters have a very poor level of English. We were also overcharged by nine euros and after we brought the mistake to the staff's attention, they were very annoyed. At least, the receipt had its price replaced with the correct one. My advice: Check the receipt. The food was okay.

This was a great stop to eat our trip and probably the best place we ate at on our visit. The steak was great and the au gratin potatoes were the best I’ve had. The bone marrow was extremely good and the frog legs were fresh and tender. It’s too bad we are leaving the area soon otherwise we’d go back and try other dishes. I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite to eat!

Yelp
Liked / Liked / Liked / Liked / Liked / Liked / Liked / Liked / Small, quaint, family owned Tried Bone Marrow here for the first time. Escargot Sea bass dish was delicious I love the ambiance and the hospitality Very nice and authentic Bistro experience The owners where lovely people, very nice, personable and run their business with a lot of love and passion, it felt like. Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Everything here needed a little more flavor/salt? We used the flake salt from my bone marrow on the other dishes.. especially the French onion soup. It was hard to figure out getting it! lol

Yelp
What a great restaurant and great service. Nilda, Patrick, & Sharah were so attentive and very sweet. The Cote de boeuf, escargot, & beef bourguignon are definite most haves. If you're looking for a great place with great food by the Lourve then this is your place.

Yelp
Super rude service. Food was mid and the owner was incredibly rude to us (we are Asian) and nice and friendly with everyone else in the restaurant who was white. Never will come again.

Yelp
Close to the hotel. And by default was the place of choice as I arrived Paris late. Owner is a gregarious guy. Good English. A bit cranky and understandably so near closing time. Menu options were quite limited as most menu options sold out earlier. Down to few and I chose the French onion soup and the steak tartare. Both with the owner's . The meal started out fabulously with an excellent house rose. And live entertainment while the owner explained the dessert menu, no less than a dozen times, to the adjacent diners. In good English. I must admit it was funny seeing the interaction between a French and the Russian couple, all in English. Yes, yes. The food. Onion soup: Passable. Barely. Steak tartare: Passable. Barely. Again. Lacked seasoning and flavor. The small salad was good. The frites were quite excellent. In a city where you have to go out of your way to get a bad meal, this place exists because of tourists. I doubt any come back.

Yelp
Such wonderful people!! The food was beyond excellent. The staff was very quick to serve everyone in the restaurant. They were friendly and observant to each table. We wanted to go back but it was during the holidays so they were closed but next time for sure!!

Yelp
So nice, we ate there twice! Great food and host/owner by the Louvre! Try the fish, lamb, house wine--and the best onion soup I ever had!

Yelp
We were looking for a restaurant which was close to our hotel in the shadow of then Louvre on a rainy night in Paris on May 30, 2016. The Le Louvre Ripaille fit the bill perfectly. Of the about ten tables on the ground floor level 2 were occupied by Americans the rest it appeared to be occupied by French locals (a good sign). The waiter (maybe part owner, he acted like an owner) taking very good care of his customers. On his recommendation I had the steak with pomme frites. The steak was prepared perfectly, medium rare with excellent charring, juiciness and flavor. We had a very nice but not too expensive Bordeaux. My wife had salmon which was not as memorable but very good. The service and my steak made the place for me. Next time in Paris I will definitely go back.

Yelp
Located on a side street behind the Louvre. A great find through La Fourchette, France's version of Open Table. I had the bouef and my friend had the saumon, both were delicious. The mousse au chocolat was not pretty to look at but yummy!

Yelp
This is an unpretentious gem near the Louvre. Order the cote de boeuf (tender beef steak) but get the perfect French fries with it. The beef is tender and served with a lively butter thyme sauce. A small side salad with the complimentary French bread and you are all set! I had a glass of wine plus a 5 fried shrimp appetizer and the bill was under $58. Casual and well situated. Small bar area.

Yelp
I have always been happy with the food and service here. I love the cote de boef and their fries. I highly recommend coming here. However if you want excitement in a restaurant, its quite calm here...the complete opposite of le fumoir just around the corner. So I recommend grab drinks at le fumoir and then have dinner at le louvre ripail.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I wanted a traditional Parisian dinner for our last night in Paris. We were blown away!! Simply the most authentic French Food restaurant in Paris with the MOST AMAZING service! The owners truly have a passion for food and it shows through their amazing dishes. The steak was mouth-watering and we tried the special fish dumpling with the lobster bisque sauce - INCREDIBLE! Would definitely come back again and again when I come to Paris :)

Yelp
Lovely restaurant in the shadow of the Louvre. A casual dining place that seems popular with the locals in the evening.

Yelp
An absolutely lovely restaurant. Every dish was delicious and well-presented, and the staff - the owner and his assistant - were very friendly. Calm, casual, warm-and-cozy atmosphere, but still contemporary. Right next to the Louvre if you're in the area. We came for dinner as a family of four, and had the pork chop, bass filet, duck breast, and guinea fowl, and for dessert the profiteroles, Paris-Brest, and red fruit crumble (not a fruit tart-like thing, rather a thick crumbly crust at the bottom with a berry mousse and sauce; really good if you like fruity stuff). For such a diversity of dishes, each one was very, very good. The owner, who's a former investment banker turned world traveler turned restaurant owner back in his hometown for the love of wine, recommended a very nice southern French red wine for us.

Yelp
Charming place with nice staff. I had the smoked salmon to start, delicious; followed by the onglet with potato pancake. The steak was absolutely perfect, and large portion that I was sad to have to leave nearly half behind. The potato pancake was strangely tough and cold, not bad, but fries -- which others describe so enthusiastically - would have probably been better. Very easy, very satisfying low-key and welcoming place.

Yelp
The owner of this place is a real jerk. We waited outside in the cold and rain and were not invited in, even after he opened the door. Then after standing in reception for 5 minutes, we asked to be seated and he told us that the tables we were pointing at were all reserved. We had a reservation, but apparently that does not count. After being ignored and mistreated for 15 minutes we left. There are plenty of nice properties nearby, so be sure to skip this one.
