The Majestic feels like a piece of Annaba's history. It might be a little bit outdated here and there, but it still retains its charm and elegance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most of them speak both English and French. The room was clean, and equipped with a well-needed air-conditioner. It was huge too. Its proximity to the centre of Annaba and the train station makes it even better. The air-conditioning is a bit outdated. It serves the purposes but makes a lot of noise. The bathroom is quite antiquated too. Lovers of classic hotels might find it charming. Le Majestic is not for everyone, but I found it delightful.

Room 305 An average shower lasts longer than I waited for the water to heat. I gave up waiting and braved the cold! I did want a bath (even with the plug had no chain or easy way of getting it out of the plughole), but the bath/shower knob was stuck in shower position. On turning off the tap, its head fell off! The basin water grew warm*ish* after 1 minute or so. The plug for a table lamp came apart, and the prong part was stuck in the socket. I worried I'd not be able to charge my phone. Thankfully, I safely evicted the stuck part by reconnecting the rest of it. There is another empty power socket by thectablecand chairs. Internet patchy. The balcony wall is quite high. It's too high to see over if sitting. The room and bathroom are a good size. The window was filthy, but the room was otherwise reasonably clean. The lavatory seat felt quite rough. The breakfast during Ramadam was three sweet pastry items, tubs of butter, fig jam, and honey; two pots of yoghurt, a bottle of orange juice, and coffee. Though my human mummy asked for it to be swapped for tea as she is sensitive to the smell of coffee and it made her dizzy. The waitress helped kindly with Mummy's dizziness. A small plastic spoon added tack. The elder of the reception men (night) was as useful as a chocolate teapot in the desert! And indifferent, bordering rude in manner. The slightly younger one was friendly, polite, and helpful.

Breakfast. Cleanliness, big rooms, very comfortable matras. Lift was broken and didnt work properly, needs maintenance. Wifi didn’t work last day. There is no hairdryer in the bathroom.

The rooms are large but quite empty. The view from the upper floor is nice. The breakfast is pretty bad, as with almost all hotels in Algeria.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 times, the rooms are clean and most things function well. Some rooms may have broken handles for closet doors or windows. Hotel breakfast is basic. Hotel has an underground parking.

The hotel looks dated. There is a lot of smoking, particularly in the coffeeshop attached to the hotel, which means smoke permeates into the rooms. It made me cough all night. Very unhealthy. It is also on a busy road and so noisy through the night. The staff are wonderful though.

The rooms here were great - large, very clean, and comfortable with good views from the balcony if you're high enough. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The only downsides were if your neighbours are loud - the walls seem fairly thin, and the breakfast was fine but not great. There was a buffet with hard boiled eggs, bread, and bad coffee. The restaurant is on the 9th floor though so you do get a good view. It's right in the centre of town, about 5 mins walk from the main street and the beach is walkable in the other direction.
