Stark contrast to nearby restaurants. Service was warm, friendly, attentive but not pushy. They were genuinely relaxed, happy to chat if you wanted to or smile and serve.
We had the menu (2 entree,2 mains, 1 dessert)
Excellent french salad and perigord 'black' ham entrees, both the magret and confit ducks were juicy, beautifully cooked and delicious.
Dessert was a homemade nut tart which we loved.
The house red was average.
It was even easy to pay for dinner, rare in many french restaurants.
