A wonderful small inn with lovely views of the St. Lawrence near a great provincial park. Great rooms, good food featuring only local products, attentive service. A village atmosphere where nature can be enjoyed.

From a culinary standpoint superbe! Taste , presentation , ingredients , and combination sweet savoury etc very creative and done successfully. The desserts are insanely perfect !! Overall score A 99.9% on 100 over all. The .1% coffee is not so good after a meal of that caliber and to accompany desserts that are out of this world. And $5.00 for not so drinkable cup. Ps had coffee at breakfast equally bad! Breakfast though was perfect . But seriously wonderful place to recommend to everyone for fine dining, where quality super cèdes quantity! To be noted: the people who work are amazing, dedicated and seem to love what they do. The Auberge portion is equally as good and of high standard. A wonderful welcome and explanation of rooms , bathrooms and all exits and entrances available as well as reserving your breakfast time, for following morning.

We had a very nice experience in this hotel. The rooms are decorated with antique stuff. Despite that, they are very confortable. The free included breakfast didn’t have some many choices but had a high quality and was enjoyable. Specially that it is served ina room with the windows opening to a nice scenery. The food in the restaurant was also great and was very authentic.

This spot was entirely magical and one of the best meals I have had at a restaurant in Canada. (I still can't believe such a gourmet breakfast was included with my room - it was as wonderful as the dinner the night before.) The dining room was strung with fairy lights and the atmosphere was perfection. The rooms had beautiful artistic touches and antiques. Everywhere I looked on the property I found another magical patio, another magical tiny house, another magical place to look up at the stars and the trees. And the next morning the view of the water was stunning. I want to go back!

Having visited this charming place a few years ago, we decided to go back this year. It didn’t disappoint. The decor is beautiful and out of the ordinary, there is a great view of the Parc du Bic and the sea (watch out for those spectacular sunsets) and the restaurant is gastronomic! There’s a huge reproduction of Manet’s Déjeuner sur l’herbe on the dining-room wall, flowers everywhere, it’s almost impossible to describe, you have to see it. Breakfast is good too and the gorgeous garden will delight you.|The only (very small) gripe I have is that in the lovely bedrooms, there are almost no empty surfaces on which to place your stuff, every surface is full of vases, flowers, and sundry objects which, although they add to the cute decor, do take up a bit too much room.

We stopped by Auberge Mange-Grenouille on a camp trip that was halted by a crazy storm and I could not have been more grateful to find this wonderful place!||Arriving at night was such a magical way to discover this unique location!||To me it was such a nostalgic moment, it felt welcoming and homey, the bedding was great and the welcome was fantastic. ||||The next morning we had some incredible breakfast which was included in the price of the room. Hearty but made with quality products, it was a great kick off to our day.||Obviously highlight of the place is the decoration which is absolutely unique and makes it a great place to just wander around before bed!

Hello! Ma Baby. Hello! Ma Honey. Hello! My Ragtime Gal.... the views can't be beat. The sheer beauty of the surrounding area is quite something to behold. Stepping out of our room you looked out into a beautiful forest and garden that enchanted you to forget any other shortcomings. And there are a few. There aren't enough easily accessible plugs in the room and our room was dark with no central light. But the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and well the kitch just seemed to match the place. Breakfast was served in a lovely room with attentive staff (only thing missing was artificial sweetener). The front desk was nice and warned us in advance of the CN train that drives through town occasionally blasting it's warning signal. Access from the highway to the town was simple and convenient. Wish there was a public charging station in this little sleepy town... the pharmacy has one, but it is only available business hours and it is closed on weekends. (We drive electric)

Victorian/Gothic style. Every space is filled with all sorts of furnishings and bric-a-brac. Not to everyone’s taste but we rather liked it. It made the spaces feel very cosy.||||We had booked an evening meal in the up-market restaurant that is part of the Auberge and we were somewhat disappointed. The duck breast (for 2) that we had ordered was tough, though the confit was fine. Breakfast the next morning in the same restaurant was good.||||Staff were friendly and helpful.
