Nice restaurant, on nice location and with good offer of the food. Staff is very professional and helpful, service fast. Food is tasty, prices afordable. - cleaning of the toillete has to be improved and condition in it as well.

Very nice little cafe. Good value on their menu with combined appetizer and main.

Cozy and lively place for wine, onion soup and moules frites. Great service.

The man who came to clean our table flung the cloth onto my arm and the table. Arrogant and macho. The other waiters were kind but the Caesar’s salad was ridiculous. Cold chicken nuggets on a bed of iceberg lettuce and Parmesan cheese shaken over it. We won’t be back and we live nearby. As French locals they don’t switch on the « 5%, 10% or 15% tip » option on the payment terminal. We warned our American tourist neighbours not to leave a 5/10/15% tip. That’s not how it’s done in local bistros. At best you leave a couple of euros. At worst (this evening) you leave nothing

This place is so good! The food was spot on - French onion soup was so delicious. Their housemate foie gras pate was amazing - we ate there twice and got it both times. We've had the duck breast - cooked to perfection, Moules Frites - huge bowl and the fries were so so crispy, Deviled Eggs - my friend liked them! The owners were so friendly and nice, they didn't rush us and just let people enjoy their time slowly. Definitely coming here again the next time I'm in Paris!

Google
By far the worst food I've had in multiple visits to France. Fried shrimp was cold, stale, and dry. Focaccia was multiple days old. Clams in tagliatelle weren't cleaned - full of sand. Would have rather skipped dinner than eat here. Please don't consider visiting.

The guy that served us told me that at 06:00 PM I could not order a cappuccino because they didn’t serve coffee at that time and if he brought me one other guests would ask the same . I accepted this thinking that maybe it is late for a coffee and they want to make you order a more expensive drink. To note that we ordered drinks and food . Unfortunately, 10 minutes later he served 2 coffees to the next table. When we expressed our disappointment he offered to bring me a free coffee that of course I denied. This behaviour is totally unprofessional. The only positive is the location , quite, ideal for kids .

Steak and fries were very good, but with very little béarnaise sauce. Nice athmosphere on a typical Parisian square. I don’t recommend the tartare de boeuf: they make it with ketchup and that’s the only thing it tasted like. Disappointing if you love a good tartare. We had to pay the full 20€ for it though we barely touched it, but we were offered a free dessert. Also, Coke is NOT served by bottle here, but they brought us a full glass (already tapped) and the waiter actually told us off because it “was clearly indicated on the menu”. Had we seen it, we would not have ordered it. Mixed feelings on our night out.

Yelp
We have eaten at the restaurant since 2014. Each trip to Paris includes a relaxing dinner. The food is high quality and wine selection is strong. The local owners are involved in the daily menu and operations.

Yelp
We were wandering the Marais a few weeks back on a rainy Monday evening trying to find a table anywhere and Le Marché happened to have one outside table available (most likely because there was a guy smoking like a chimney at the next table). Though we weren't expecting much as my wife and I had walked by it when we were lodging at a place off of the Rue de Turenne, we were mostly delighted with the food (can't say much for the service but it's a cafe in Paris so brusque borderline-absentee service is the norm). One of us got a club sandwich which she wasn't a huge fan of (though to be fair I doubt many people order that) but otherwise the food was outstanding. The mussels in a light marinara sauce were as good as any I've ever had, the 'market' salad was chock full of meat, cheese and walnuts, the fries were crisp, salty and plentiful and the eggs with mayo were just fine. All in all I really appreciate Le Marché for first having an open table and second for providing us with a great and reasonably priced meal when we had been in dire straits.

Yelp
Super staff!! Cute location. Food not so good. Steak was tough. Mussels were not fresh.

Yelp
Delicious! Bread was incredible. I had duck confit, with potatoes and a nice salad. The sauce was perfect in consistency and flavor. The duck was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were nicely seasoned and just the right amount. Of course sitting on the patio and watching people enjoying the neighborhood was probably one of the best experiences I had in Paris. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you stop here for lunch...or dinner!

Yelp
Been a little while, but just as good...it was a sunny day and pretty busy but we decided to sit inside so as not to fall foul of the smokers, plus there was loads of room with only 3 other tables occupied I chose a salade auvergnate which was a serious bowl full and my partner had a ham omelette, with a light 50cl of rouge to wash it down We talked to the owners' son and this time got the name of their cheese provider in Paris (Mas), as it is certainly one of the best Bleu d'Auvergne that I have ever tasted...they come from the same village Good service and reasonable prices as ever

Yelp
Amazing food and the restaurant is run immaculately. The owners are so kind and extremely funny + hardworking. The escargots are an ABSOLUTE must- we got two rounds. The mussels are also great. French onion soup and Caesar salad are perfect starters. I've been often iffy about French food but this restaurant helped convert me to a full Francophile foodie!!!!!

Yelp
Nice and traditional restaurant in this delightful little square. It's one of several and thrives on a mixture of locals and tourists - it's in the touristy part of the Marais. We had vegetable soup to start, I had a vegetarian lasagne, and my friend had the Veal escalope with morel mushroom sauce, puréed potatoes. The soup was lovely, with cheese and croutons with wonderful crusty bread. My lasagne was all right (and I realise being veggie in a traditional French restaurant is asking a lot) but my friend's dish was rather more successful. The only let-down was the House wine, which was one of those slightly uninteresting whites. The bill came to €65, which is not bad for the area.

Yelp
Our family ate here 11 years ago and we could not forget the incredible chocolate fondant, so much so that on our recent trip to Paris made the trip across town to eat here again. Great place in the Marais. Our table had the onion soup, steak with frites, lamb, moules and of course we finished it off with the chocolate fondant.

Yelp
Ran into this place at 3pm soaking wet from rain. Most places stopped serving and this friendly place offered us food at this rare time. My husband ordered a cheeseburger, which had an egg and many cheeses and loved it. My pickiest water ordered a children's burger and loved it. My other daughter had the children's chicken (grilled) and enjoyed it. I only had the coffee, but it was very good. Our waiter didn't speak much English and he was over accommodating. Very nice server.

Yelp
Delicious! We were recommended here by a local shop. The duck was amazing -burger was on point and the wine was lovely!

Yelp
Nice little restaurant situated on a beautiful square. Their T-bone steak with mushroom sauce was delicious and the strawberry soup as a dessert was exquisite! Go there with friends for a casual diner with good food and service with smile!

Yelp
When we found this place, after turning into a tucked-away little square, we were utterly enchanted. It is really sweet and charming and everything you want of a Parisian restaurant as far as ambience. The food was ok, some of it good and some of it not. Pricey for our satisfaction level. My husband's escargot was pretty terrible, devoid of flavor. I already forgot my appetizer. Husband just reminded me it was pate. I had a special lamb dish of the day, simple grilled or roasted maybe with these awesome potatoes. Husband had a charcuterie plate, no surprises. It was fine but I wouldn't go back or recommend it as the only thing that stood out to me was potatoes.

Yelp
Great restaurant at Place Saint Catherine! The food is delicious and well portioned. There's a daily prix fix menu in addition to the regular menu. Both are reasonably price. Service is also friendly and efficient for a busy restaurant (especially if you make eye contact with the wait staff if you need something). We went there twice in one week! First time, we had a fois gras pate, cheese and meat plate, duck breast, veal escalope, and chocolate cake. Second time, we ordered from the prix fix menu and had saumon marine, tandoori chicken, dorado, and strawberry panna cotta.

Yelp
Pretty good. Really cool atmosphere. Fairly attentive waiters. Great location. The food...I had a citrus chicken with rice. It was creamy. And, heavy for a chicken citrus dish. My girl had the salmon. And, it was really delicious. It came with a cucumber salad. The bread, by Parisian standards, wasn't good. My glass of Bordeaux was decent. I wouldn't plan on a return visit. But, I'm only here for a week. If I was looking for a place to eat dinner and didn't want to go far, I'd go again. Was busy on a Tuesday night.

Yelp
Traditional French bistro, in a lovely leafy market square, with many other pavement cafes, just off the Rue de Turenne. The short daily menu is brought to your table on a blackboard. Starters are 8EUR mains 16EUR and desserts 7EUR. The choice when we were there was artichoke heart with grilled goat cheese (excellent); chicken liver salad; and terrine campagne to start; followed by duck Provencale (a little tough), Andouillette sausage with mustard sauce and lentils (good French fare), or sea bass in Tarragon sauce. Puds ran to a spectacular strawberry crumble (in a flat dish to maximise the crumble to fruit ratio!); pineapple slices grilled; and chocolate mousse. All round, a tasty & good value traditional French bistro meal, in a pretty setting, though your dining companions will be other tourists. C'est la vie..

Yelp
Good stop. Not as welcoming as other cafes, but quiet square, good beers, and relaxing atmosphere.

Yelp
We ate here the night of La Fete de la Musique because there was a GREAT band playing the park across the street. That vibe alone made this place fantastic. The food was so/so, the wine was good and not too expensive. I probably wouldn't add this to a MUST list, but it's a solid place if you are in the neighborhood.

Yelp
A sweet place. Our meal was good, and while I wouldn't feel the need to go back or tell a friend he must eat here, I'm still satisfied with the experience. Here are some things that might be helpful to know. ... Menus have both English and French, but the place still feels very French (vs. touristy). I was excited to practice my French with the waitress, but she started talking and spoke in English. ... It's cozy inside, but since the tables are all so close together, you can't really have a private conversation. ... The escargot is excellent and well worth the price. ... The wines seemed expensive to me, with no bottle under 30 euros. We each got a single pour, then, which is about one sixth of a bottle, we figured, for a little over 6 euros each. We got the red Sancerre and it was very nice. ... We both got Caesar salads and enjoyed them. ... Free bread on the side. They'll bring you tap water automatically. ... We were given a small bowl of salted peanuts. Very tasty, but we were unsure why we got them, as other tables didn't have them. Perhaps it came with the escargot? ... They offer a prix fixe menu that looks like a really good value (I think 19euros for an appetizer, entree, and dessert... Chosen from a smaller menu).

Yelp
Excellent food and service. The host speaks great English and is very forthcoming translations for menu items and recommendations.

Yelp
Mediocre. Slow service. Otherwise, it's on a very cute square, but my impression is the other places there are better.

Yelp
Great food for a really fair price. The mussels were really tasty and abundant. The osso busco was tender and the sauce made with attention.
