St. Norbert Farmers’ Market is one of my favorite weekend spots in Winnipeg — full of local vibes, friendly vendors, and amazing food! Among all the booths, Fruitily Kimchi & Kimbab really stands out with its bright hot-pink theme and delicious Korean flavors. Their handmade kimchi tastes perfectly balanced — not too salty, fresh, and authentic. The kimbap is made right on the spot with warm, freshly cooked rice, giving it that comforting homemade taste. If you love discovering local gems, don’t miss this booth. It’s a taste of Korea in the heart of Manitoba! 🇨🇦

I’ve loved this market since the first time I came by, back in 2017. Since then they’ve only expanded. They’re now open Saturday’s all year long until opening twice a week during the summer months. This place is a great spot to go for all your local needs. They sell local art/prints, crafts, all things handmade and food items. Specialty baked goods, plain old bakery delights and various assortments of edible goods from local farms (meats, veggies, jams/jellies, eggs, homemade pasta). Parking can be tricky especially in larger vehicles. We parked in a large lot nearby and walked. There’s lots of pedestrian crossings designed specially for easy access here. Great for pedestrians while potentially annoying for drivers. It’s free to enter. Most booths take credit or debit, cash always appreciated as well. It can get pretty cramped in there and when people don’t pay attention it can be hard to differentiate between a line to pay/order or people just milling about. I love it just the same and always leave with my arms full. I highly recommend it especially in the summer months with the food trucks & outdoor booths.

Wow I never realized how massive this place was until I explored the place and experienced it first hand, it’s sprawling with hundreds of vendors and is worth investing a considerable portion of your day to explore, go early though as it will aid in you finding parking which is ample although The on site parking is $2. Tons of fresh produce, fresh baking and food trucks representing a considerable portion of global country’s I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful this place truly is there is simply too much here to describe you need to experience the sights, the smells, the food and the people for yourself! Give it a whirl! You will not be disappointed!

Love the vibe here, happy, knowledgeable, and warm merchants. We found their homemade delicacies delectable, fresh produce that include a whole array of vegetables and fruits; to organic sourced meats and dairies. Prices were fair since we would have the products freshly harvested from farms. There was an area for kid's activities, while the grown-ups were going around. Washrooms are clean and accessible. Operating hours vary seasonally, so check it out before you head out. Will be coming back again to try the other items there.

Love this farmer’s market. Beautiful local veggies, plenty of organic options, and multi cultural specialty. Get bison, fresh rabbit, sausage, and the like. Especially recommend the amazing crepes from our French friend Yvanique.

Great fun for the whole family! Local food, arts and crafts! Everyone is super friendly and there are many places offering samples! It can be tough to find parking, but it's worth at least a few visits a year. It's only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The last day being October 8th!

We loved this market. Very busy but lots of room to move around. Vendors and patrons were very helpful and friendly. The produce is first class and huge selection. Want to go again.

Yelp
The St. Norbert Farmers Market is located on Pembina Highway just south of the Perimeter. One of the few areas where going beyond the Perimeter is still considered part of Winnipeg. The farmers market is open year-round, although it's considerably smaller in the winter months. While food is obviously the highlight of the market, it's also a great place for tourists if you're looking for some local souvenirs. Everything in this market is locally made and authentic, and that's ranging from food to craftsmanship. When I was there, the Red Ember food truck was also there making pizzas for hungry market goers for lunch. The parking situation can get quite hectic, although there's a direct bus from downtown to St. Norbert which you can consider. There's no free parking at the market; surrounding parking lots are either $2 or illegal to park, so do keep that in mind. It's definitely quite out of the way if you live more central or in the north, but I definitely give high praise to the farmers market here. Definitely a good enough size for this city; if you're expecting a St. Lawrence Market feel, you'll obviously leave disappointed.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite things to do if I'm in town. I grew up going to the Farmer's Market and look forward to it every time I go home. It's not huge with millions of vendors but there is a great variety whether you're looking for vegetables, crafts, meat, etc. I also love the food vendors where I can snack while I'm there. I usually get my perogie fix here. They also have great baked goods such as rhubarb pie that I like to divulge in as well. I love that no one harasses you to come to their stand. You don't feel pressured to have to stop and feel guilty wasting their time because you know you're not interested. Parking can be an issue if it's packed. There are some lots close by that charge you for parking if you're wanting convenience.

Yelp
Opening weekend at the farmers market today! I have been waiting impatiently all winter! Jewellery, food, clothes, art, FREE samples. Homemade, Manitoba made... There is something for everyone. No fresh veggies or fruit yet its too early, but they are selling the plants in case you want to grow your own (I'll just wait....). Got some homemade raspberry jam, some healthy all natural cookies and a gorgeous henna tattoo (see pic). Make sure to talk to the vendors because they love to share stories and tell you about their business. It felt nice that my favorite vendors remembered me even though I haven't seen them since last summer. Food trucks also park here with delicious snacks and meals. Get out and support local Manitoba products!
