Le Massif is a luxurious stay in the heart of Courmayeur. We stayed for 4 days and staff in particular were helpful, friendly and were very attentive, in particular Thomas, Emilio, Luca, Salvatorre on the bar and Francesco and Frederico on reception. Whether it was local advice, booking restaurants or generally being nice to speak to, they really made the stay special. Our room was spacious and lovely to stay in, only downside was we could get the temperature right even with the balcony door open. The spa was amazing, make sure you book as you can just rock up. They are in hour slots and the pool/jacuzzi is lovely.

So, where should I start? This was our first and definitely not our last stay at this amazing 5-star hotel. The location was perfect! The ski lifts were just a quick 3-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for us to hit the slopes, whereas the city center, with its charming shops and restaurants, was only a 5-minute stroll. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel so welcomed. Every single staff member had a warm smile, was incredibly kind, and went above and beyond to serve us wholeheartedly. A special thanks to Nikolai, whose exceptional service and warmth truly made our stay unforgettable. The rooms were spacious, luxurious, and filled with thoughtful touches. The WiFi worked perfectly for us, contrary to some reviews we’d seen. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed for 2 nights in the winter in La Massif. We were very excited to stay here. We had a classic room, which was super tiny but actually had a nice view. However, there are columns that obstruct your view and make it look like a prison, so you can't really enjoy the view. Amenities in the room are okay. It's similar or a little worse than any other luxury hotel. Nothing special. They didn't tell us that we needed to book the spa to use the Jaccuzi. So when we asked, we were told it's full and we can't use the spa. I would expect to be told about the hotel amenities and maybe have a tour during the check-in. Service at breakfast was horrible. We chose to sit on a table close to the window in the corner, and getting any of the waiter/waitress attention was impossible. Parking was $40+ per night. After the hotel charging this much for the rooms, shouldn't they have parking included or cheaper?! Staff were very nice during our checkout. The location is great for skiing as it's very close to the gondola. My partner and I are not picky at all, but we were not impressed with this hotel at all, I don't think it's worth the value they charge you.

We recently stayed at this wonderful hotel from Dec 18-26 2024 and had a wonderful stay. The front desk reception team were amazing, and very attentive to us as was the staff at Le Lodge. With careful research, we were well informed of the hotel policies, spa policies and parking policies which prepared us as to what to expect during our stay. Christmas Eve was amazing from the Babbo Natale and his elf in the lobby to the fabulous dinner provided. We couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas experience. We will most definitely be back to this hotel.

I recently stayed at this wonderful property and was very impressed. The hotel is beautifully designed and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The hotel's restaurant served delicious food, and the Spa treatments were perfect for relaxing. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

Tiziano was an incredible guide during our hike. He recommended we go the day after a nice snow so it would not be slippery and we would have perfect conditions. We had a wonderful morning with him and he was helpful throughout our entire trip as well.||I definitely recommend going hiking with him, he is truly the sweetest person!

If you’re considering this hotel, I’d strongly advise against it—it’s far from a 5-star experience. At best, it’s a 3-star property with a shocking €1,000 nightly rate. I was misled, and after reading other negative reviews, I can confirm they’re accurate. The service is subpar, the rooms are small, and the balcony offers no view. The spa requires reservations but is frequently fully booked during peak hours. The half-board dinner is not all-you-can-eat, and they even charge extra for water at dinner. Additionally, there’s a €60 toll every time you enter or leave the area, which adds to the frustration. I recommend staying in Chamonix and selecting a hotel there instead. Overall, this hotel is disappointing, lacks luxury, and doesn’t meet 5-star standards. I would never stay here again.

This is an excellent hotel and it is set a level above by the quality of its staff and their friendly and diligent service. Nothing is too much trouble, any issues they follow up on and ensure that issue is sorted. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world for business and leisure. Whilst this is a relatively small hotel and the facilities may not be regarded as 'world class' by some, I can safely say that the service we received was some of the best we have ever had. All of the staff were excellent. but I would particularly like to single out Ilaria on reception (who dealt very effectively with a communication issue we had with spa booking) and also another lady (brown hair, glasses) whose name I didnt get but who served us in the restaurant . Both were a credit to the hotel and to the industry.
