I had a great experience at this spa. My therapist, May, was incredibly skilled – her massage was both relaxing and effective. She was very polite and made me feel comfortable throughout the session. The spa is clean, peaceful, and very affordable. The treatment room was spotless and the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. I also love that they offer weekday promotions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality service at a great price!

Stayed for 3 nights and got an elite member upgrade to a larger deluxe room with a wonderful pool view. The hotel was pretty big but the front office lady still walked us all the way to our room.||The hotel is not modern but room and facilities were very well maintained and clean.||Breakfast was one of the best I ever had. Lots of variety from Japanese, international and local. They also offered chocolate fondue and shaved ice which are pretty hard to find in hotel breakfast. ||Service at breakfast was also exceptional. Pooh, Rita and Nam were very attentive and professional. They made sure that our breakfast experience was nothing short of perfect.||I highly suggest you come to the pool at about 5.30pm to enjoy the beautiful sunset. ||Highly recommended this hotel. Situated right next to the river and very close to town.

Beautiful hotel in a tranquil setting with flawless service from start to finish. BM status was nicely acknowledged, and the 4 p.m. late check-out for our evening flight was greatly appreciated. Though slightly removed from Chiang Rai’s main attractions, the peaceful atmosphere and relaxing pool make it a great place to unwind. The breakfast buffet had quality options, with the fresh juice station being a highlight. We did notice some spiders and webs in the room, and a slippery pool step caused a fall – this should be addressed for safety. Overall, a wonderful stay with just a few areas for improvement.

Wonderful Stay – Perfect for Families! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and thoughtful surprises for our children at check-in, making them feel special right away. The hotel’s lush green grounds are impeccably maintained, offering a serene and relaxing environment. The dining experience was another highlight—breakfasts were fresh and varied, while the dinners at the Thai restaurant were simply outstanding. Every meal was a delight! The hotel staff deserves special praise—they were always smiling, incredibly helpful, and genuinely engaged in making our stay perfect. Our spacious and spotless room, along with excellent room service, made our stay even more comfortable. Beyond the hotel, it served as an ideal base for exploring the beautiful region of Chiang Rai. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you for an unforgettable stay! We’ll definitely be back.

This is my second stay at this hotel and I’m still very impressed. The hotel sits on a large area by the river with lots of greenery. It’s quiet and great for both couples and families. It’s also not far from the city center and surrounded by many local restaurants.||||I want to thank Khun Focus, the assistant front desk manager, for introducing the facilities and taking great care of me during my checkin. The breakfast was very good, and the gym is new and clean.||||If you’re visiting Chiang Rai, I think this is the best place to stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel in Chiang Rai, which might very well be the finest accommodation in the entire area. Everything about our stay was remarkable, from the stunning ambiance to the impeccable service.The rooms were beautifully appointed with all necessary amenities and more. One minus: the beds were a bit uncomfortable. However, Breakfast deserves special mention - an outstanding selection served in a lovely atmosphere that started each day perfectly. The staff went above and beyond with their attentive and friendly service throughout our stay.I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for anyone visiting Chiang Rai. We will certainly be returning on our next visit to the region.

Had a very relaxing stay at Meridien Chiang Rai .Would recommend it and come back again.Service is very attentive. Gave a small present to my daughter on arrival + toiletries for kids.I took option with dinner included.It was at the Italian restaurant. Food and service ate good but should give more options to be chosen from the menu when you are staying several nights.In general very good experience!

We stayed there in July for 2 separate days. Had dinner at Favola. There was a weekday discount for the spa but unfortunately we did not have enough time to visit. We are a platinum elite member so we get a free room upgrade. What’s good: excellent service, concierge would bring you around to introduce the facilities all the way to your room, Fabiola’s Caesar salad was freshly harvested and prepared before your eyes and tasted amazingly crunchy and delicious, service was also perfect - we got a chocolate fudge cake and mocktails to celebrate our wedding anniversary and a discount off our meal, hotel location is next to the river and 5min walk to the riverside restaurants, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful, on our first day we got an upgrade to a grand deluxe room which is very spacious, new and had a good river view, breakfast reasonably priced at THB490 with a good spread. What’s not so good: The standard deluxe rooms that we got on our second day are have a much smaller entrance and the fixtures are in need of servicing with calcified stains and scratches, instead of sliding bathroom and wardrobe doors, the doors all open out to the room corridor and block access to the entrance.
