Le Méridien Denver Downtown

"Start us off with an overview.Dramatic black and white tiles are begging to be photographed at this hotel's downtown entrance, but not before you stop and stare at the tiny Marie-Antoinette mosaics on the reception walls. Lobby seating ranges from the eclectic—think rhinestone chair—to the comfortable, and a two-story deconstructed glass chandelier floats in the atrium of a curved staircase. Nice. Who do you see here?Denver's jet set mixes with convention center attendees and genteel out-of-towners looking for style. How easy is it to navigate? The hotel is a sprawling 20-floor behemoth with 264 rooms in all. But a central reception area makes check-in a breeze, and in-room tech is basic. Tell us more about those rooms. What can you expect? The tranquil rooms are on the smaller size (they start at 260 square feet) but floor-to-ceiling windows allow for lots of natural light. The decor is minimalist and sleek; soothing grays and whites blend with tiny pops of color from pillows. Opt for a skyline room for the best city views. What amenities stood out to you? We'd steal the Malin+Goetz bath amenities if we could, and the 55-inch flat screens are made for binge watching. Illy espresso is on hand in the room, and the linens are crisp and fresh. And if you need something a little more potent than in-room espresso? You can grab a coffee or pastry from the Lobbyist, or dinner at the on-site Corinne, but the real highlight is 54thirty, Denver's highest open-air rooftop bar. Admire the sunset over the mountains from 20 stories up with a cocktail, and then snuggle next to a fire pit to watch the stars come out. What else should we be sure to check out if staying here?Grab one of the complimentary hotel bikes, and enjoy complimentary tickets to the Clyfford Still Museum, a hot spot of abstract art. Bottom line: How would you sum it up?Chic interiors, a central location, and the best rooftop to see the sunset." - Megan Barber

Beautiful property! Rooms are very comfortable and only a block from the convention center. The restaurant Corinne is phenomenal. Had a wonderful dinner there! The ribeye was outstanding! I had a minor maintenance issue from the soap dispenser falling from the wall while showering. I didn't even have to ask. Housekeeping made the call and Aaron from their maintenance team stopped by to make repairs immediately. He was in and out in a few minutes and extremely nice. There is a rooftop bar that I plan on visiting later tonight. I will be back when in Denver!

We had a lovely stay at the Le Meridian! The room itself was very comfortable, cool, and clean. The king size room was perfect for 2 people. The rooftop patio bar makes great drinks and offers stunning views. The restaurant that is located in the hotel is also really tasty and easy to get into. Great location, close to many great restaurants and bars! I left an item in my room and the staff was helpful and professional. Will be back soon!

Real Deal Reviews

Google
Superb hotel in downtown Denver. Rooms are very nice with great views of Denver. The resort free which is included in the room price can be redeemed on food and drink. The rooftop bar is great but gets very very busy. Can’t really fault this place. Highly recommended 👍

Google
I wasn’t a guest at Le Meridian but had lunch at Corinne. Out bartender Ryan provided some of the best service I’ve experienced. He just made us feel very welcome. Let us know we could just chill and relax. He was just the right amount of attentive and was always a step ahead on our needs. His style was very friendly but also professional. It felt like fine dining service. Not to say the food wasn’t great too, but the service was next level.

Google
Great trip. Experienced an issue with our toilet and hotel sent maintenance up to repair. Thank you to our technician Aaron who was extremely responsive and helpful in getting our issue resolved quickly. He even offered a voucher for our inconvenience. Very impactful service interaction!

I recently stayed at Le Méridien for four nights and unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to expectations. While the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated that the room included a refrigerator and safe, there were key issues that left me disappointed. My room was not cleaned once during my stay. Twice I returned during lunch hoping to decompress, but left again after finding the room untouched—and there was no quiet place available elsewhere in the hotel. When I came back around 5 PM, it still hadn’t been cleaned. I mentioned this at checkout and was offered 5,000 loyalty points as a courtesy. While the gesture was appreciated, it doesn’t reflect the impact of the issue and isn’t personally meaningful to me. Even more aggravating was the nightly $25 “destination fee.” While it could be applied toward food or drink, the options felt limited, and I felt obligated to dine at the hotel just to avoid losing money I was being charged upfront. A basic room service breakfast ranged from $40–$52 before applying the $25 credit, and included a nearly $7 room service charge. I would have much preferred the freedom to explore the many great dining spots in Denver without being locked into daily charges that didn’t reflect my preferences or actual usage. I really didn’t appreciate the automatic junk fee, and I think others should be aware of how it’s structured. If you’ve had a similar experience or want to push for more transparency in hotel pricing, you can submit a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at reportfraud.ftc.gov. This hotel has potential, but between the uncleaned room and the required daily fee, my stay didn’t reflect the value or experience I expected.

Google
Such nice staff at front desk, they called when I left an item there and held it for me. Nice view of city from high floor room. Didn't get to check out rooftop bar, would definitely stay here again.

Google
Nice hotel! Loved the complimentary champagne. The only thing I would change is the rooftop bar gets super busy and the elevators get full. If you stay at the hotel you will have to wait for the elevator for a while since there is large crowds. I would suggest keeping one elevator for hotel guests only.

Yelp
Located in a convenient area with a lot of walkable restaurants and bars nearby. In July 2024 there was a lot of construction (not their fault) but we could not get Ubers to pick us up due to road closure. We walked across the street to the Hyatt so not a big deal but keep that in mind. Room had great views, clean and quiet. The layout of the room isn't for everyone - the shower isn't in a separate closed off room so keep that in mind depending upon your travel partner. The rooftop bar was a popular spot but when that was busy we found a place for a drink in the 1st level bar.

Yelp
This was a good location for our stay near 16 th street area and restaurant 's were close by . The valet guys were very courteous and informative nice to see. The front desk personal not so pleasant . Our room was on the 19th floor was small decor was simple just needs a full length mirror entryway would be perfect and something to place luggage on instead of having to place on the floor . Now the rooftop bar is very nice and the drinks were delicious . Downfall we were always waiting for the elevator to go up to our room . Mostly because of people going to the rooftop bar . Only 2 of the 3 elevators were working so this was frustrating when you think it's almost down it goes right back up ugh ! The ladies that clean rooms were always waiting trying to do there job but with only 2 elevators that seem to always be going to the 20 th floor . We will stay some where else next time .

Matt M.

Yelp
Under no circumstance should you pay the premium to stay here. I asked for toothpaste as I forgot mine, it never came so I walked to the Hyatt across the street and obtained one with ease. In addition, the toilet was full of water (way full) and I asked for a plunger to be safe and I yet to have it 40 mins later. So if you want to brush your teeth and use a toilet, highly suggest looking elsewhere. Sad as I'm a Marriott platinum as well, doesn't matter so don't bother.

Yelp
Le Méridien pleasantly surprised me. Everyone was so kind and helpful to get us anything we needed. I was shocked entering our room to see that it was so small, with only one sink and it's right next to the bed. That space was a little awkward but the comfy bed and excellent nights sleep made up for it in my opinion. They've included Illy espresso in the room and you can ask to borrow a kettle if you'd prefer tea. They also have an amazing rooftop bar which is the tallest rooftop bar in the city, a must see!

Yelp
This hotel is lovely! This is the 3rd Le Meridien I've stayed in and everything was great- wonderful hospitality, style & comfort! Step 1- detailed confirmation mails Step 2- was able to check into our room early! Step 3- awesome concierge & doorsmen Step 4- very clean room, sleek modern design, comfy bed, sexy hot shower Step 5- love when hotel rooms have mini fridges Step 6- great bartenders at the downstairs bar We werent able to enjoy the rooftop bar due to it being super windy, but it did look lovely when we popped up there, Only negative is valet parking was over $50 per night, but I think that's typical in denver. Could easily walk to everything in town, or grab an uber or rent a bike or scooter.

Yelp
The staff was attentive, the lobby feels luxurious and we enjoyed the rooftop bar (54thirty) views, drinks and food. However, we (my husband and I) expect more from a hotel of this caliber and pricepoint. Parking. The hotel (Marriott) website listed off-site parking at 45 USD daily and valet parking at 57 USD daily (on the hotel's online "fact sheet"). We utilized the off-site parking for less than 24hrs (approximately 18hrs) and was disappointed when it came to 65 USD (more than valet would have been). So either "daily" means 12hrs or the website pricing is outdated. The room. The bed was not made properly. There were stains on the floor and furniture. The overall cleanliness of the room didn't feel up to typical Marriott standards let alone a higher end brand. The noise. Being in the heart of downtown, some city noise is expected. We were given a room on the 19th floor, well above the street, which we were excited about, at first. But it was the night before July 4th, a Monday night, and the rooftop bar was having a DJ from 8pm to midnight. Normally, we'd be on the rooftop dancing the night away, but we had just finished a hiking trip in the Colorado mountains and had a long drive ahead of us the next day. Unfortunately, we heard the entire DJ set and couldn't fall asleep until well after midnight when everything settled down. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Kevin K.

Yelp
The outside and the lobby are both very nice. They did get us into our room early, but the room was meh. It did the job but the decor was so basic and simple. The mini fridge was just sitting on its own on the floor. There was no real closet or dresser. It was clean, but bare. The restaurant in the lobby was really good. Didn't have cocktails but the food was really good. The rooftop bar was meh. The hotel is in a high rise area, so a rooftop bar on the 19th floor I think it was doesn't really give you any views except the buildings around it.

Yelp
I recently stayed at Le Meridien and really enjoyed my time there! I was here for a few days while working in Denver and attending a conference downstairs on the second floor. The hotel is in a great location near tons of restaurants and places to go like 16th Street Mall. The lobby is beautiful, and has the feel of a modern and trendy spot. Check in was super quick and easy, and I was able to check in on the app and make a quick stop at the front desk. My room was on the 11th floor and had a nice city view! The rooms aren't giant, which is to be expected in a city. Luckily while on a work trip I was staying here on my own, but if you are here with others be aware that the shower is in the room behind a clouded glass door. The room had a mini fridge but not a microwave, though this wasn't a huge deal to me because being in this area, I went out to try different restaurants each night. I didn't mind, but just be aware in case you're staying with others in a situation where this wouldn't be ideal. The options in the hotel are nice too, with the restaurant downstairs for breakfast and dinner, and the bars in the lobby and the rooftop. The food served at the conference was delicious, so if you are staying in the hotel for one or just attending the conference, you can look forward to that! Check out was quick and easy as well! If you're looking for a nice hotel in a great area of Downtown Denver, definitely check this place out!

Yelp
Beautiful 5 stars hotel. Guest services and restaurant employees were great. Very friendly staff. Surroundings areas of Downtown Denver were great to explore. Great places to eat. If you love seafood next door to the hotel Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Excellent food and services. Enjoy your visit

Yelp
Absolutely stunning hotel. We came here to try the rooftop bar but unfortunately it was closed. We stopped in the lobby bar and not only was the Peach Mule delicious, but the bartender, Morgan, was amazing. She had lots of recommendations on things to do and see! It also seems that they have a snazzy restaurant here too that we didn't get to try - but the aesthetics of this place are fantastic. Would simply come for the vibes and good drinks in the lobby if given the chance!

Yelp
Nice location and super friendly staff. They really go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. The rooms are on the smaller side, but very clean, modern and well maintained. The best part is the roof top - open air lounge. The view of the Rocky Mountains is really cool. The hotel is only a few blocks from the pedestrian only 16th Street Mall with tons of restaurants and shops. Good place to stay when in Denver.

Yelp
Le Méridien Denver is a gorgeous boutique hotel situated in the center of downtown Denver. We had a fabulous staycation here over the weekend and got to enjoy Le Méridien's stellar on-site dining establishments & relax and recharge in one of their sophisticated guestrooms. We arrived at Le Méridien and were taken by the lobby - the space was beautifully airy with a modern elegance. There was a deconstructed two-story glass chandelier floating in the atrium. The chandelier was partially enclosed by a large white spiral staircase with black steps. Two faux furry accent chairs were a stylish addition to the staircase space. The front desk attendant was efficient & professional and got us checked into a Deluxe, Guest Room. Our Deluxe, Guest Room featured 1 King Bed with luxury bedding & amenities. The décor was soft & spacious with whites and greys being the main two colors in the space. The pillowtop mattress & duvet were so comfortable and Ross and I slept like babies. Once we got all situated in our room, we headed back down to the lobby to check out The Lobbyist, Le Méridien's lobby bar complete with a Moët & Chandon vending machine. I purchased a gold coin (complete with the Moët & Chandon logo on it) from The Lobbyist bartender who also gave me a complimentary Moët drinking flute for an optimal drinking experience. I put the gold coin into the vending machine & a 200 mL bottle of Imperial Brut was dispensed. Such a special offering! After enjoying my champagne, Ross and I headed to Le Méridien's restaurant Corinne for dinner (we had a fabulous meal). Corinne is located directly next to The Lobbyist. Following dinner, we had a nightcap and snacks at Le Méridien's rooftop bar, 54thirty (SO. MUCH. FUN). 54thirty is Denver's highest open-air rooftop bar. What a stay!

Yelp
I've stayed at a lot of Marriott properties in my life but never a Le Meridian so I wanted to try the brand out while in Denver for work travel. I was really happy with the property overall. Very modern and clean with a sick roof top bar, nice lobby bar, and a restaurant (that I didn't eat at). Im Platinum Elite with Marriott so I was offered breakfast or points when I checked in and took the points. I had inquired about a potential upgrade via chat with the front desk when on my way from the airport but never heard anything about it when I checked in. Not a huge deal as it's certainly not guaranteed. My roof was clean and modern and I enjoyed spending the three nights there. I went to the rooftop bar a few times becasue the vibe and location was great. A little expensive but it's a rooftop of a hotel in downtown where everyone is a business traveller so that's expected. All in, this is a great property and I appreciate the modern, updated aesthetic.

John W.

Yelp
If I could give less than 1 I would. I'm a silver member of bonvoy. I reserved months in advance. I checked in ahead of time on the app. No mention of the construction in the 4 square blocks surrounding the hotel. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to walk or drive to there. Nothing in the email confirming the reservation. No mention on the app. NOTHING... I'm not from Denver. Followed gps 3 time, Pretty much had to find another place to park and walk from. Never again.

Yelp
Gorgeous lobby but food and service is lacking. Took over an hour for a chicken ceaser salad and then they forgot the chicken so they brought up a few cubes of diced cold chicken that looked like it had been sitting around. No spoon for the sorbet. When I called to order breakfast was told it was another hour wait. Housekeeping started knocking on the door at 8am. Come on guys.....

Yelp
i loved this stay, staff were great, food for breakfast was pretty good, and the gym was actually pretty high tech, with upgraded treadmills and weights! I was impressed. we got upgraded into deluxe rooms and they were very friendly / helpful. bummed we didn't get to try the rooftop bar as it closed early on sunday but the stay was nice!
google avatar

Susan W.

Yelp
Had some issues with reservation such as not having a bed in the upgraded room type I paid for, I checked in with no heads up from the front desk that I was in a makeshift room with a small pullout couch. The service on the rooftop was great, had 2 great waiters/waitress. Bar down stairs not great service, same w Corrine restaurant not great service, we ended up going across the street at Ruth Chris and the bartender and waiter there was great.

Yelp
My wedding is two weeks away and I have to say how phenomenal Stephanie and the staff has been. I've been planning this event for a year and I'm ecstatic. Stephanie has answered all my questions, eliminated all anxiety, and made this experience seamless!!! This process has helped me gain a great respect for the company and staff Marriott hires!!! If you are getting married look not further than the Le MÉRIDIEN downtown Denver. The venue is beautiful and staff is exceptional. My wedding tasting weekend was amazing and Stephanie made sure we got to experience the rooftop bar!!! Trust me when I say the Marriott did a great job recruiting. The manager (I think Sam) was fantastic, he came over to personally introduce himself and ensure we were happy. I AM ELATED!!!

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel during the summer of 2022 and had a fantastic experience. Never stayed at one of the Le Meridien properties before, but if it's anything like this, then I look forward to checking out the others. The service staff were very helpful and helped me get to my room quickly. Interestingly enough, I inquired about an amenity through the Marriott bonvoy program and they told me that it was a bottle of wine. Couldn't say no to that, but sadly it seems like they don't actually do that anymore? As compensation, they threw in a couple of extra breakfast vouchers for me. No complaints there, the restaurant in the hotel, Corrine, is absolutely worth the visit. The hotel has a very luxury feel to it that I really enjoyed. There was art on the wall by a local artist, the hanging lights were really nice to look at at the lobby, and the winding stairs to the second floor almost made you feel like royalty. There was even a champagne machine by the front door - how bougie. If you need something to quench your thirst in the Mile High City, the hotel has Illy coffee machines in all the rooms and it's really, really good coffee with a smooth, rich taste. They also had a really nice rooftop bar that I frequented. I met a lot of really great people up there and the drinks were really good. You can get a nice view of Denver and the mountains beyond if you go during the day - be sure to stop by if you can. Overall, a very memorable experience here. Next time I'm in Denver I'd go out of my way to stay at Le Meridien again.

Kim W.

Yelp
Facility is nice however, the rooms are small. A lot of major construction (roads closed) which is not their fault, however, the hotel should have provided directions on best route(s) to reach their facility and parking. Tried to give this feedback to the front desk when I was checking out and received a lukewarm acknowledgement. We received more assistance from the Hyatt than the Le Meridien.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful lobby and bar and restaurant areas. Centrally located. Comfortable bed and pillows. Clean and modern The only downside is the food in the restaurant. Really expensive and if you aren't a meat eater there isn't much of a selection Luckily there is Uber eats so 4 stars it is Ps staff was super friendly and helpful
google avatar

Gigi M.

Yelp
Here for several days for conference. Very nice hotel, great staff, excellent restaurant - Corrine, and wonderful roof top bar. One block from Conference Center, two blocks from shopping district. Lots of restaurants and bars in surrounding area. I ate breakfast in Corinne every day. Reasonable prices, exceptional service and good food. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Yelp
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I loved the decor and the vibe of the place. Everything was modern and had a city feel. The rooms were up to date and the view was nice too. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. The rooms are on the smaller side and the bathroom area doesn't provide too much privacy so that's something to keep in mind. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

Yelp
Friendly and affordable lobby bar. We waited 30 min to go upstairs for more drinks and apps on a Friday night after 9p at 54thirty. So we all grabbed a drink at the lobby bar. It was busy, but quick service. We loved the chill lobby area and the fury set up. This hotel also has such beautiful architecture and design. This hotel also has Corinne which is a popular restaurant and often wins awards. The lobby bar has great old fashions and bar snacks like hummus, deviled eggs, crab croquettes, meat and cheese, bruschetta, and nuts. We ate at 54thirty and enjoyed the beautiful downtown Denver views at the roof top bar. We ordered drinks and apps. Everything was delicious with exceptional service by Jordan. We loved the fresh tortilla chips, salsa (great salsa), guacamole, lamb meat ball sliders (little red pepper heat), grilled cheese and butternut squash soup. We wanted to try the short rib taco but they ran out of short rib. We will be back. The bar area has a variety of seating, fireplaces and heating lamps for the colder weather. The rooftop bar also has an incredible view of the sunsets. We plan to come back and enjoy apps, drinks and sunsets from 6-8p this spring/summer.

Yelp
We live in the Denver metro but stayed for New Year's Eve. Very stylish hotel: good lobby artwork and bright modern rooms. Everything was very comfortable and well maintained...except for our coffee maker which leaked water, and 2 of the 3 elevators being out of service both days leading to some waits. The separation with the neighboring AC Hotel was even less than I expected, with the lobbies and each guest floor connecting. Great location for the Convention Center and DCPA. Not ideal for LoDo, though the 16th Street Mallride is a free bus. Parking is as expensive as all the downtown hotels, but much cheaper self park options can be found nearby with the parking apps.
google avatar

Tim K.

Yelp
Le Meridien was one of the cheaper hotels we found when looking for a place to stay for our anniversary. It felt very upscale for the price and the access to everything in downtown Denver. The location is great, just steps away from the convention center and 16th Street. The room we had was tidy, modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Couple things that keep me from giving the place a 5 star rating... I think we were on the 11th or 14th floor, and you could hear traffic noise from time to time. The rooftop bar had an exceptional view but just felt cramped. It also didn't have a ton of seating so people were just crammed in resulting in a standing room only scenario. Le Meridien is a Marriott property if you're a Bonvoy member.

Yelp
Talk about a hidden gem!!!!! Really beautiful decor & awesome rooftop views. The snow storm stopped a little bit of fun but the hotel accommodations made our stay very intimate. Very clean establishment so that's a plus. Only thing i dislike was the Huge window in the room that made the cold come in no matter the heat temp.
google avatar

Cory S.

Yelp
Overall a good place to stay. The location is close enough to walk most places if you don't mind a little walk to the other side of downtown. less than a mile from the large train hub and plenty of other places. Front desk was friendly and got me checked into my room early, despite hearing them tell others they were full/hadn't gotten rooms cleaned up. (check-in on the app and status helps occasionally). they have a Moet champagne vending machine in the lobby.... and a bar. Also a bar upstairs that provides great views and cool ambience. The rooms were clean, modern and relatively quiet. The hotel does require masks regardless of vaccine status.. but no biggy.
google avatar

Claire J.

Yelp
Modern, chic hotel in the heart of downtown. The rooms were clean and quiet. The staff was friendly, gym stocked with a Peloton bike and the rooftop bar has great views and a nice vibe.
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and LOVED it. The lobby is absolutely stunning. We ended our nights with drinks at the bar (photo below) and sitting on the cozy chairs around the fireplace. Our room was wonderful and kept clean. The front desk was very accommodating and brought anything we needed very quickly. The rooftop bar was amazing (photo below). They even had blankets for guests to use. I recommend you get there well before sunset, as it gets crowded around this time. This way, you can snag one of the couches.
google avatar

Jenn W.

Yelp
This hotel seems to be very popular. The downstairs lobby/bar was pretty busy every night. I stayed here for 2 nights and while the hotel was clean, I did not think my room was as clean as it should have been. You would think during covid they would do extra cleaning or be more thorough. Also, the people working the desk are hit or miss. Some people were amazing, friendly and helpful, while others were flat, slow and didn't seem like they knew what was going on. My issue with Marriott is that when you ask for a late check out, they almost immediately always tell you no. But you can if you pay an extra fee. Once you mention you are an elite Marriott member, then all of a sudden they can offer you a late checkout for free. I wish they would just check the system when I ask and just offer me the late checkout without me having to mention the member status.

Yelp
This was a really great hotel experience! I came in for a work trip and wished I could stay even longer. I did end up extending my stay at another local hotel for a couple nights so I have a comparison and Le Méridien knocked it out of the park. Things I loved: -The easy early check in and beautiful lobby. -Layout and furniture in the room with plugs in ALL the right places. -Malin and Goetz soaps always make me feel extra when I'm at a hotel and probably the only soaps I'll take with me to use on my inferior hotel jaunts. -Feel like being more boujee? Hop in the Range Rover out front and they'll drop you at dinner or the bar. -They held our bags for us at checkout so we could go grab lunch without lugging our stuff. Things I didn't love, but not enough to change my opinion: -The toilet is comically large. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and never sat on a toilet where I felt like I might drown. -We all had cold showers one morning, but it was a fluke and fixed later that day. -You can't get ice on your floor. I don't mind someone bringing it to me, but I'd often get back with a short amount of time before heading out and looking to meet a coworker in my room for a cocktail. Even if I asked on my way in the door, it would sometimes still be delayed 30-45 mins.

Yelp
This hotel is a combination of a Le Meridian and AC hotel. I have stayed at Le Meridian hotels in many different cities, the one in Singapore was amazing, the one in Thailand was magnificent, this one was an AC hotel with a Le Meridian sign outside. The room was small and nothing to write home about and the lobby well it was a AC Hotel. If I went back i would have saved the $50 a night a booked the AC instead. There is no lounge and while many Marriott's and Sheraton's give out free breakfast, offer extra points or do something for elite's they offered nothing. If your thinking about this hotel, consider the AC rates since essentially that is where your staying. I could have booked the AC for $50 less a night. If it were not for the AC Hotel lobby maybe I give 3 stars but when you stay at a Le Meridian you expect to be wowed.

Yelp
I came to this location for a work trip. I was excited to see how the hotel was, considering I heard the buzz of how great this place was. I walked in and was warmly greeted by the front desk staff. Check-in was quick and painless (seriously, it was super quick, within 5 minutes I was checked in and the bonus was rooms were ready early). I checked out the lobby before I went up to my room and was cozy, updated, and chic. A glass fireplace is in the middle of the hotel lobby and was just super picturesque. I went up to my room, unlocked the door and the room looked great. It was small, but definitely felt spacious for one person. I also checked out the view from my room and it was of the street, so it had a nice downtown vibe. I LOVED the gym. I don't often state my love for hotel gyms, but this one was nicely spread out, had several cardio equipments, weight machines, and a Peloton bike, which after seeing tons of ads, I really wanted to try one. The first day I got to the hotel I worked out and no one was in there, so I had the opportunity to test out the bike. It was lovely. I don't love the price tag of it, so I won't be buying one for my home, but it was nice to try out. The bathroom/bedroom felt more like a studio room, but I didn't mind, since I was traveling alone. Housekeeping did a great job. Pros: -Great staff -Beautiful, updated rooms -Comfortable bed -Awesome gym Cons: -One day I got just cold water during my shower (it was a bit too chilly for this Floridian) -The air in Denver is dry in general, I've been to hotels that have humidifiers in the room, that would have been a nice feature (I never asked the front desk if they had one) Tips: If you stay here, guests have access to a Range Rover, i.e. where someone from the Le Meridian can drive you to dinner/etc. The only caveat is you can't reserve it ahead of time and there's only one, but this was a super nice option.

Yelp
Wow, I loved Le Meridien! My girlfriends and I recently booked a four night stay here at a RIDICULOUSLY good price. The hotel is centrally located - about a 15 minute walk to Union Square and a quick uber literally anywhere you want to go in the city . Shout out to the front desk staff for being super helpful our whole trip. Derek helped us get rooms next to each-other and Sophie helped us with any issues we had along the way. I loved that upon arrival they provided you with a list of recs for places that were great to try around the hotel. There is a lobby bar (shout out to the bartender James for a delicious City Peaks cocktail and great city recs) as well as a rooftop lounge (review for that coming soon). This hotel seems to be a great place to stay, but also a must visit if you want some great rooftop views. As for the rooms. We had two rooms with two queen beds. I felt that my room was spacious enough for two to be comfortable. One thing to note is that due to COVID-19 you must request for someone to clean your room 24 hours in advance. We had that done once during the trip and it was great. Another thing to note is not every room has a coffee machine due to deep-cleaning schedules also due to COVID-19. Thankfully we were provided with vouchers for complimentary coffee each day because of this. Overall I would totally stay at Le Meridian again as it has friendly service, a great location, and comfortable rooms.

Yelp
This was my first time here and I am a loyal Marriott/ Bonvoy customer. My experience disappointing at best, especially for high end hotel. I dint think they had enough staff to serve you when you needed it. For example, I had a chair break and fell from the chair. I hit my head. I couldn't get anyone to answer the phones to ask for an ice pack and a replacement chair. I tried for 10 minutes and it kept ringing. Eventually I got through, but what if were truly injured? Second, they seem to be understaffed at the downstairs bar. It seemed like the bartender was overwhelmed. We had to ask several times for assistance. The saving grace was the rooftop bar. It is very nice and the waiter we had was excellent be very accommodating. The design of the hotel is amazing overall and the atmosphere was electric. I just think they are running into the same issues with labor that everyone else is and it hurt my experience.

Yelp
Cleanliness five stars Quietness four stars Location five stars Bed and pillows five stars coz I slept good This is like a European style bedroom I don't like it especially the toilet. I think most of their rooms have only shower's. I prefer tub's.

Yelp
Such a cute hotel! I stayed for a work trip and the location was perfect. The customer service overall was amazing! And the rooms were #aestheticsgoals. The only downside to the hotel (at least our room) is the functionality of the room. It's just one giant room, and the toilet, shower, and sink are in a corner- kinda walled off. The sink/mirror is the only "wall" that separates the bathroom area from the rest of the bedroom. And there's an awkward gap between the mirror and wall so if you come out of the shower, you can see everyone who is around the beds and vice versa. And the only one long mirror is half covered by the bed, so you have to stand on the bed if you want to check out your whole outfit! As you can tell, I'm all about functionality over aesthetics. But I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area!

Yelp
*4.5 Pros: location, customer service, rooftop bar, clean rooms, clean showers, no kids. Cons: $50 valet parking a day, rooftop bar gets so packed it holds up the elevators, expect a wait, the mirror is also too far away for me to apply my make up, the mirror that's facing the bed is smoked out so totally useless for make up application. Please note* the rooms are an open concept, the toilet is on its own with a sliding door and NO FAN, shower is separate and so is the sink. Not a lot of privacy if newly dating and not good for kids *pro for me though Do yourself a favor and order a Key Lime pie slice from Corrines to enjoy up in your room for a midnight snack!

Yelp
My stay at Le Meridian was very nice. The staff was great and friendly. The rooms were very nice and the bed was very comfortable. It was conveniently located to my conference at the Convention Center and walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shopping. They have a nice lounge in the lobby and roof top bar for events. This is a great place to stay while in Denver.

Yelp
The last time I was here I was charged almost $20 for a dirty martini that they couldn't put in a proper glass. They were out of Glasses so they gave me a ball glass full of warm olive juice and vodka. Didn't even add ice. I looked at the bill after I paid and was shocked. Tonight - a different stay. All I asked for was a glass of water or a glass for water. There are NO glasses in the hotel room. Probably due to COVID but the front desk literally told me I had to buy a drink and they won't deliver to my room because it is after hours. I was like... I'm staying in a hotel and all I need is a cup. Can anyone bring a cup. And she said I had to come buy a drink. Not impressed. I liked the pricing but apparently this place is taking a toll and only hosts party clients that want to escape covid these days rather than classy denverites that want to support the city and need a place to lay their heads. So sad.

Yelp
This property hits all the marks. Very well maintained and updated rooms and common areas. A superb staff takes the extra steps to make a stay extraordinary. On site restaurants with an array of options meant for foodies. All while be centrally located. If you are visiting Denver, a stay at this property is a must!

Yelp
This place was a huge letdown for me, unfortunately. I wouldn't recommend staying here for the price if you like peaceful ambiance. I was thoroughly disappointed, having previously stayed at the Hotel Theatro nearby (a much better choice). If you're into club scenes and a super noisy atmosphere, this is the place to be. Saturday nights, everyone from downtown likes to head over here and flood the lobby lounge and upstairs rooftop like it's a club, which brings in a large amount of traffic and noise if you're staying here. I get it's a nice hotel, but given the type of crowd that comes here, I wouldn't recommend this place for families. Before booking several rooms for my family members during graduation weekend, I wish I had known. Just be aware that this place isn't it if you're looking for exclusivity. The rooftop is cool, but be mindful of the large crowds during the weekends, arrive early, try to get reservations ahead, etc...plan ahead. My parent's room ended up nearly flooding because their shower was broken, and the ONE bathroom at the rooftop bar was filthy by 10p. If you want to be part of the crowd and be "seen," definitely come here; if you're looking for exclusivity with a bit of chill atmosphere, maybe choose a different hotel during the weekend.

Yelp
Overall, this place is modern, clean, fun lobby bar and amazing beds, felt a bit like the W based on the crowd. The bathrooms are the tiniest I have ever seen and an open concept which is not a concept anyone should be subjected to, not really a sharing situation, even with the hubby. The service was a bit odd, so no sit-down breakfast and they would not deliver extra anything to the room, we had to get more towels, more water, and more toilet paper at the front desk. I realize that COVID has forced many businesses to rethink how they operate but there seems to be no standard and every hotel does its own thing while charging full price. I'm OK if you don't clean my room, for now, although this better be resolved soon if I stay somewhere for a week, I want my room cleaned, and when I need extra something, I expect it to be delivered. Also, no water in the room, and cheap toiletries made in China, ugh. They used to have nice locally made ones before.

Yelp
My stay at the Le Méridien was short but pretty comfortable. I was in Denver for a quick work trip and the Le Meridien was in a great location. It's right by 6th Street Mall, where you can find a lot of shops and restaurants as well. The interior of the lobby was very pretty - seemed like it would've made a good spot to chill and have a drink. The room itself was also pretty clean and I enjoyed my stay here. I'm knocking off a star because they gave me a wake up call that I didn't request at 5:30 AM (4:30 based on my internal clock) and then again at 6 AM. For wake up calls that early, I'd advise them to triple (or even quadruple) check that they are calling the right guest, as to not wake up the wrong person at the break of dawn.

Yelp
COVID-19 Review. Because of the continuous opening and closures of hotels and such during this pandemic, we were booted out of one hotel and reassigned to others and this hotel in Denver was by far the classiest and maybe best hotel experience I've had with staff. I seriously wish I could now remember the name of the gentleman who checked me in, but if management is reading this, I stayed here the night of July 6th to July 7th and checked in around 8 or 9 PM. He truly was a gentleman. So professional in the way he managed my check-in and explained all the amenities of the hotel that were open during the pandemic and where to park. When I came back with my family once we were parked, he was even kind enough to walk us to the elevator and pressed the button for our floor on the 14th floor. We felt very well taken care of. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated, the beds were so comfortable and we had an amazing night of sleep here. We also had a nice view of part of the Denver skyline. My kids were beside themselves with being in this hotel. The next morning, the lady who checked us out was just as amazing as the gentleman who checked us in. Everything was spot on about this hotel. I would love to come back to Denver and would love to stay at this hotel!

Yelp
Stayed 3 nights as a couple Marriott Platinum Elite. TLDR: good for solo or long term couples. Not good for business travelers or people with kids. First, the good: - location. 1/10 mile from bars and restaurants and a couple blocks from 16th St. mall. - close access to the 54thirty rooftop bar that opens at 1pm, so you can get in before all the influencers do. - comfortable beds (king size anyway) - complimentary bikes (found out as we checked out) - seems room service is available every day if that's your thing - in room espresso machine - rooms pretty well insulated, didn't hear any neighboring activity The OK: - Room layouts as folks have mentioned. Step out of the shower and person laying on bed can see you. Mirror placements mean your other party can see your bathroom hygiene pretty much all the time. NOT recommended for friends or travel acquaintances or families. - semi small closet so if you have several formal items to hang then you may be out of space. The bummers: - restaurant (Corinne) closes at 10pm, last entry around 9:30pm. - no sundry shop to purchase waters or incidentals (Tylenol, deodorant, nail file etc) - in the king room, all charging is on one side of the bed - not great views, though that's more to do with Denver's pedestrian skyline. - in the room, sorta dim yellow lighting throughout. - $54 a night valet service. Surface lot at $20 a day around the corner from the hotel.

Yelp
I seriously love everything about this hotel right in downtown Denver! As soon as you walk in, you can already tell that this is a different kind of hotel. Its swanky, its hip, its overall FUN!!! The staff upfront is so unbelievably helpful. They know just about everything in downtown Denver, don't hesitate to ask them any questions. The rooms are so perfect in every way. I love the decorations of the mountains and the beds are SO comfortable!!! They have smart TVs so you can log into your youtube or netflix account and watch what you want to watch! I also loved the little espresso machine!! This is the perfect downtown location if you're visiting Denver and while you're at it you HAVE to check out the awesome rooftop bar!!!
