Le Méridien Lav, Split

Our first time in Croatia and just wow this beautiful hotel exceeded our expectations. Staff member Dora was lovely and answered all our general questions. The room was beautiful best views on the 10th floor. Everything was immaculate clean . I highly praise housekeeping. This hotel resort has some beautiful beaches and restaurants. The general areas are comfortable and relaxed. I read some reviews before arrival and honestly feel some are reviewing the wrong hotel or just competition trying to destroy the hotels fantastic reputation. Prices are a little high for things is my only criticism but that's the price of convenience. The hotel has lots of close by restaurants. All staff were helpful. Breakfast was beautiful but priced quite high. Overall we loved our stay. We would stay again and recommend.

Just home from a wonderful week's stay at Le Meridien Lav. Some bizarre reviews on here about the hotel needing an upgrade and smelly? We found it very clean, contemporary, comfortable, luxurious and immaculate throughout. We had a fantastic Premium sea view room overlooking the harbour/Adriatic. Breakfast had every option including all typical continental and cooked options, fruit, fish, omlette bar and bloody mary station, plus much more! Staff were all polite and attentive. We used the hotel local restaurants, maybe a tad expensive but food was good and similar to what you would pay at any decent restaurant. Some improvements could be made to the food options in La Vue Bar which we thought was overpriced for the content. Excellent infinity pool, indoor pool and spa facilities. As a base for Split it's a bit of a journey and busses are every 30mins, and take the same time to seach Split or Omis but cheap. So may not be the best location if you want to take trips every day, but for us needing a weeks relaxation and occasional trips it was perfect. We used Uber a couple of times between 10 -15 Euro to Split. All the Croatian people we met were lovely and friendly and is definitely a country we will return to.

This is one of the finest hotels we have ever stayed at. It’s an Autograph Collection hotel and exceeds the labels rigorous standards. The staff was gracious and friendly and even the hardworking housekeepers had a bright smile! The hotel is directly on the Adriatic so the views are wonderful. We took abundant advantage of the spa. It’s clean and peaceful . We used the steam room and sauna and rotated through a unique bucket full of cold water feature and warm shower with nature sounds! I had a great men’s massage and my wife a facial. We ate dinner at the Mediterranean themed seafood restaurant overseeing the marina and enjoyed a great meal .

This was such a great stay! I have been to Croatia multiple times and stayed at multiple properties, but this visit we wanted to specifically hit a Marriott Bonvoy property and it didn't disappoint. The location is amazing at the marina with the sunset and the boats and the views and the vibe - so great! Loved it! Ivana checked us in at the VIP desk and was so helpful, there is a great concierge that answers a WhatsApp and the front desk was great, lovely gal with great black rimmed glasses, missed her name tag :( The proprietor is an advocate for kids local and across the globe, he facilitates sports tournaments on property and does kids camps and it was so impressive to hear. For this reason alone I will be back and I will put clients here. Our bartender for both nights was Damir and what a fine young man! LeMeridien is so lucky to have him behind the bar. He is personable, friendly, knowledgeable, here to please with special request, swift and makes an amazing drink! We enjoyed him so much and waited for him to be on shift to spend time in the bar :) Great property, so much to offer families and every other configuration guest. Highly recommend...

We had a wonderful time at Le Méridien Split. A true luxury experience from start to finish! Excellent check in service and recommendations by Ivana. Pools,Spa, grounds and gym are top notch. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Rooms could use a little update soon, but still very good. We will be back!

The location is great if you're looking for more a resort type of experience vs. being in the busier city of Split. Service was fantastic. Rooms were very clean and nice but the seaside view was just OK as our room overlooked the marina which blocked some of the view and has a ton of lights at night which makes it harder to enjoy the ocean from your balcony in the evenings.

I stayed here for three nights and found the hotel to be very comfortable and clean. The facilities were excellent and well-maintained, including a well-equipped and spacious gym. The breakfast was great, with a large variety of foods. However, I’d like to comment on the pool bar lunch experience. I ordered a chicken wrap for €19, and I would have expected a decent amount of chicken. It felt like it was half-filled, and they used those thin slices of chicken from breakfast. It was a bit disappointing, and it only came with a small side salad. Overall a pleasant stay.

Loved this hotel! Stayed here for 5 nights and used a good points conversion with Marriott (plus stay for 4, fifth night free). It’s about a 20 minute uber/bus from old town split but I enjoyed being away from the hustle. This hotel has it all - two beaches, beautiful pool, wonderful spa, all the restaurants you can imagine. Everything is walking distance. It’s a large resort so a little easy to get lost but the service is fantastic and everyone is there to help you. Had the best massage at the spa and they have sauna, cold plunge, steam, etc. already thinking about when I can go back!
