We just returned from an unforgettable 7-day stay at Le Méridien Maldives, and I can confidently say it was the trip of a lifetime. Every aspect of our stay was incredible, from the breathtaking accommodations to the exceptional service and food.||The service at this resort is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. For example, I requested a specific pill from the resort doctor, and on a Sunday, they had the medication flown in from Malé within less than eight hours. This level of care and attention to detail truly sets Le Méridien apart.||We had the opportunity to stay in two types of villas: a beach villa with a private pool and an overwater villa with a private pool. Midway through our stay, we requested to switch to the overwater villa, and the resort approved this request at no extra cost. The transition was seamless, and the experience of waking up surrounded by the turquoise ocean was nothing short of magical. Both villas were luxurious, beautifully maintained, and offered absolute privacy.||The food at the resort was exceptional. We tried the teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant, and the quality of the food was out of this world. Every meal we had throughout the resort was crafted with care, and the variety ensured that every dining experience felt fresh and exciting.||One of the highlights of our trip was the snorkeling experience. The resort provides free snorkeling equipment, and we joined a guided trip with the resort’s staff to a stunning part of the atoll. Swimming alongside vibrant marine life in crystal-clear waters was unforgettable.||Le Méridien Maldives delivered an unparalleled experience, from the extraordinary service to the incredible accommodations and activities. Truly amazing island experience! We had 5 days stay at Le Meridien and we loved every moment! The over the water villas were such iconic Maldivian design and staying in it is like dream come true. All the restaurants on the island were amazing. We went with half board and we were excited to go to dinners every single day.

Our experience at Le Méridien Maldives was truly amazing! Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations. The chefs are incredibly professional, delivering top-notch culinary experiences. A special shout-out to Azad, the housekeeping in charge, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and memorable stay. Not only did he take care of every detail, but he also wrote a handwritten note to thank us, which felt incredibly personalized and thoughtful. We can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a luxurious and welcoming retreat!

It was a great memory for my family! We participated in two Traditional Fishing trips and a house reef snorkeling trip. The staff were very kind and helpful, and we thank them for that. They also kindly participated in my sons’ questionnaire survey and taught us about environmental issues and conservation. We visited during the Christmas season, and there were plenty of fun events for the children to enjoy. It truly was the best time, and I would love to go back here!

The resort is generally up to expectation. We didn't like the room layout although being able to access the bathroom directly from the deck is great after a snorkeling session. The food is excellent in all the restaurants we visited and the dive centre is well equipped. The staff in this resort is what makes it really stand out. Gerryd from Velaa is a superstar. He goes above and beyond every evening to make our dinners memorable and is really passionate about his job. Special thanks to Torsha and the girls at the kids club for keeping our little one entertained throughout the trip.

We had the most wonderful 10 days at Le Meridien Maldives! From the moment we arrived, Maadh and the team made us feel right at home. 🙌 Maadh was always on point - ready to answer any question, book restaurants, or set up water sports. He was the ultimate host! 👏||Our 1-year-old had an absolute blast too! 🍼💖 Torsa and the team at the kids’ club were amazing, and the babysitting service was extremely well organised. Whether we were off for a water adventure or a workout class, they had our son covered. Vamshi, the chef at Velaa, even gave him a 1-to-1 pizza-making course, which he loved 🍕👶!||And the food? 🤩 Every meal was a delight - from the buffet breakfasts at Turquoise 🌅, lunches at Velaa 🌊, to elegant dinners at Tabemasu 🍣. On our last night, Pradeep, the head chef at Velaa, treated us to an incredible meat platter with the help of Thallu. 🍖💫 The hospitality from everyone - like Gerydd, Abby, Maha (to name just a few!) and all the teams at Turquoise and Velaa - was beyond amazing. 🌟||As for the activities, we couldn’t get enough! Whether it was fitness boot camps with Hari 💪, a local island tour with Hadhy 🌍, dolphin sunset cruises 🐬, guided snorkeling 🐠, or jet skiing 🛥️ - there was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. 🏖️||We cannot recommend Le Meridien Maldives enough! 💯🌟 If you’re looking for an unforgettable getaway, this is it! 🌴✨

We were here for 9 days.|The island is vast.|It has an eastern part with villas over the water. We did not prefer this one because it does not have a good lagoon.|The western part is much better with a beautiful lagoon.|The facilities and the grounds are beautiful. The villas are spacious with a large terrace.|The pools at the villas are large enough.|The food is excellent in terms of variety and quality, as are the drinks.|We noted the following negatives:|1. The resort does not have a main pool where pool life takes place.|It is divided into two smaller pools.|You don't swim in the pool on the west side and you have to move for lunch.|2. The resort does not have a main or lobby bar. When you come to sit down during the day for a drink in the designated area, no one notices you. Everyone decides whether you came for lunch.|The service is very bad and especially slow.|First you have to do something to get noticed. Then you order.|Then you wait for 15 minutes before they bring it to you. Then you go to bill and wait.|You're still just waiting.|Anytime in the Maldives, we are used to a completely different service.|The same is true for lunch and dinner in the ala carte. The wait is very long, more or less nobody notices you.|3. Absolutely no evening program. No one plays or sings, because they have that even in 3* resorts. I don't understand.|People came here to vacation and have fun.|Despite this, we had a nice time at your place and we spent nice moments. Thank you.

We had a very pleasant week on this island. Our villa in the water was very tidy, well furnished. There was space for everything. They cleaned it twice a day and took care of the cleanliness. We were on full board, which was nice to pay for. So we could also try the Alla carte restaurants. The Riviera restaurant not only awaited us with very delicious food, but also with wonderful staff. Thanks to the conscientious work of Faith and the other waiters, as well as the skillful hands of the chef, we always ate delicious food. Thanks to them for this. The other staff were also always kind and helpful. The ocean was sometimes angry and windy, but the water was always warm and since it was not deep, it was good to swim in it. The island has lush vegetation. In short, thank you for the above-average service and the kindness! We highly recommend it to everyone!
