Le Méridien Seoul, Myeongdong

Le Méridien Myeongdong is an amazing place to stay! The location is super convenient, right in the middle of Myeongdong with shopping streets, markets, and restaurants just steps away. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always making me feel welcome. Rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, perfect after a long day of exploring Seoul. Despite being in such a lively area, the hotel feels calm and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

My stay at Le Méridien Seoul Myeongdong was excellent and very comfortable. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Myeongdong with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The only area for improvement would be the TV channel selection—I couldn’t find any Arabic channels and there were fewer than five English and french channels. A wider range of international options would be greatly appreciated. I really liked Marriott bonvoy members benefits like ice cream and coffee corner in lobby and rooftop club lounge 👍🏽👍🏽 great experience Overall, a fantastic stay and I look forward to visiting again on my next trip to Seoul!

The friendly staff at the Le Meridien Seoul Myeongdong Hotel, including at the front desk and ground floor entry area, made my six-night stay in July 2025 memorable and pleasant. Always when I got off the elevator, the front desk staff greeted me with a Korean “hello” and a smile. The hotel ideally located, my excellent room with its floor to ceiling windows that gave me a view over Myeongdong had a comfortable bed, large bathroom with a very large shower stall and tub, and bright lighting the likes of which I rarely see in hotel rooms. The good dinner at La Palette Restaurant and excellent buffet breakfasts at the same place made me feel happy. The smiling, friendly staff there, too, made my dining experience even better. Also, I cherished the careful, thoughtful, and timely housekeeping service every day. The excellent food in the 15th floor club lounge and relaxing experience in the 15th floor indoor swimming pool, which had an attendant on-site, something you don’t see much of at hotels anymore, rounded out my delightful, warm, and invigorating stay at Le Meridien Seoul Myeongdong.

Of the three hotels we stayed at during our trip to Asia, this was the best by far, better than even the Ritz in Osaka.||The staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks perfect English. The rooms are large and comfortable and the hotel overall is very new and clean. They have free coffee and ice cream in the lobby 24/7. The breakfast buffet is probably the largest that I can remember with a huge select selection of Asian and western dishes. The cocktail hour at the club lounge could definitely serve as dinner with multiple meat dishes, salads, and desserts. ||The location is perfect with Myeongdong at your doorstep. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Seoul!

Great hotel in a vibrant location. We loved our big room and spacious bathroom. Bed was firm which we loved. Coffee maker and water filter provided. Facilities at the hotel are excellent. Cafe on level 4 was a great spot for a club sandwich at the end of busy days if you didn’t want to hit the streets. Bonus ice cream if you’re a Marriott member was a special treat. Staff were helpful and special shoutout to Tom Kim who helped organise multiple taxis for us. ||We had the breakfast one morning. It was a wow! Fantastic selection and fresh. ||Central location close in Myeongdong. Very close to the hustle and bustle of markets/shopping street. Most places were within AUD12 and the hotel is close to pickup stops for day trips if you want to book Viator or similar. ||We would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient. Right in the middle of Myeongdong. There is free coffee and icecream in the lobby which is great. There is also a weighing machine to check your luggage. You can use the moxy bar and charge to the Le Meridien room. Overall very good.

We have traveled around the world and always stay at Marriott brands. This was the best stay we have ever had! The breakfast buffet and lounge food were amazing! The hotel staff is what truly makes this property outstanding! Our concierges April and Jay were extremely helpful and made sure our every trip was planned and coordinated. Staff felt like a family. They ensured every aspect of our stay was wonderful. Truly hard to leave this amazing property! Location is also prime!

A nice hotel surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. The location is central but remains quiet despite busy Myeongdong being around the corner. Rooms are modern and clean. The front desk were attentive and hospitable. Takes two elevators and an escalator to access street level but ease to navigate second time onwards. Really appreciated the Korean water filter. Escape rope harnesses in the room is a good added safety feature (probably as per local regulations) but still appropriated. The gym is well equipped and very clean. Housekeeping was perfect.
