Le Méridien Seoul, Myeongdong

We have traveled around the world and always stay at Marriott brands. This was the best stay we have ever had! The breakfast buffet and lounge food were amazing! The hotel staff is what truly makes this property outstanding! Our concierges April and Jay were extremely helpful and made sure our every trip was planned and coordinated. Staff felt like a family. They ensured every aspect of our stay was wonderful. Truly hard to leave this amazing property! Location is also prime!

Of the three hotels we stayed at during our trip to Asia, this was the best by far, better than even the Ritz in Osaka.||The staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks perfect English. The rooms are large and comfortable and the hotel overall is very new and clean. They have free coffee and ice cream in the lobby 24/7. The breakfast buffet is probably the largest that I can remember with a huge select selection of Asian and western dishes. The cocktail hour at the club lounge could definitely serve as dinner with multiple meat dishes, salads, and desserts. ||The location is perfect with Myeongdong at your doorstep. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Seoul!

Great hotel in a vibrant location. We loved our big room and spacious bathroom. Bed was firm which we loved. Coffee maker and water filter provided. Facilities at the hotel are excellent. Cafe on level 4 was a great spot for a club sandwich at the end of busy days if you didn’t want to hit the streets. Bonus ice cream if you’re a Marriott member was a special treat. Staff were helpful and special shoutout to Tom Kim who helped organise multiple taxis for us. ||We had the breakfast one morning. It was a wow! Fantastic selection and fresh. ||Central location close in Myeongdong. Very close to the hustle and bustle of markets/shopping street. Most places were within AUD12 and the hotel is close to pickup stops for day trips if you want to book Viator or similar. ||We would definitely stay here again.

A nice hotel surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. The location is central but remains quiet despite busy Myeongdong being around the corner. Rooms are modern and clean. The front desk were attentive and hospitable. Takes two elevators and an escalator to access street level but ease to navigate second time onwards. Really appreciated the Korean water filter. Escape rope harnesses in the room is a good added safety feature (probably as per local regulations) but still appropriated. The gym is well equipped and very clean. Housekeeping was perfect.

I stayed at the hotel with my family after a short weekend business trip to Seoul. There are nothing but positive remarks from our stay, and we will definitely be coming back. First, the location of the hotel cannot be beat - it is in a prime location near historical attractions, vibrant streets filled with all that Seoul has to offer, and close proximity to the trains and busses which are easy to navigate. The staff could not be nicer and more accommodating - from check-in to check-out and all in between, it was an easy and positive experience. The staff made us feel welcomed, by engaging our three year old son, providing a room upgrade (Titanium Elite member benefit) and helping navigate the city. We used the airport transfer service which was on time, clean and easy to find. The hotel itself (lobby, Club lounge, breakfast room, gym and pool area) and the rooms were all updated and well-kept - nothing out of order and all clean and bright. The Club Lounge was great for breakfast and evening drinks, and all of the staff members (Soyi, Lisa, Henny, Olivia, Angela, Lowell and Jamie) were friendly and warm. They all made our experience even better. Thanks to all who made our first trip to Seoul one to remember!

Fantastic hotel with entrances located steps from the Myeongdong market. There is a 24 hour convenience store next door and they have a Club Lounge. The breakfast buffet in the lobby is excellent with traditional dishes, eggs made to order, sushi, and desserts. I would like to personally thank Hannah, Chloe, Bella, and for their amazing hospitality customer service. They are all top notch.

Highly recommend Le Meridien Seoul. First of all, it is centrally located, just short subway or taxi rides from most of|the major attractions in Seoul and in middle of Myeongdong shopping district. But best reasons are the wonderful staff at the Le Meridien. Every staff and the hotel tries 110% to accommodate your needs. If you are able, I also recommend getting lounge package w/ your room. Their friendly smile and drinks will help you unwind after busy day at Seoul. This was simply one of the best hotel stay I have ever experienced.

Absolutely loved this hotel! As someone who stays at a lot of Marriotts across the world and has Ambassador Elite status, I have to say that this Le Meridian quickly became one of my favorites. My best friend and I stayed here for 7 nights. The rooms are beautiful, modern and clean (and feature in room water filling stations!) and housekeeping does an impeccable job. The location is central but remains quiet despite busy Myeongdong being just around the corner. The breakfast (free for top status Marriott folks) was very impressive and a great start to each morning and the club lounge was really beautiful—in fact, a few nights we simply enjoyed dinner up there vs going out to find food! If you’re looking to stay near Myeongdong, do not hesitate to book this hotel. I will certainly be back on my next trip to Seoul!
