Le Méridien Thimphu

Probably the best hotel in Thimpu. Centrally located and has all amenities including a heated pool (unfortunately under maintenance when we visited). The food is excellent and Executive Chef Ganesh Singh and team go out of their way to customise the food to your liking. Excellent rooms with all amenities and comfortable beds and well controlled air conditioning. Service is impeccable and super prompt both in the rooms and in the restaurants. Centrally located close to the clock tower square and stores & cafes.

Le Meridien is the perfect hotel in Thimpu. Conveniently located in the middle of the city, it was fun walking around exploring the area. Huge thank you to the LM team that took care of us with such kindness from check in to check out. Especially Rem who was amazing recommending us the best Bhutanese cuisine and taught us how to enjoy buttermilk tea. Rem also kept topping up the firewood in the beautiful outdoor fire set-up for dinner on Friday. The hotel facilities are also great - with a pool, gym and sauna my husband enjoyed.

Every staff member that we interacted with at Le Méridien Thimphu was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and nice! All of them! My friend and I stayed there for two nights and had a great experience. It’s much better than Le Méridien at other countries

The most lovely people!!! This was my first trip to Bhutan, and as a pilot crew member of a business jet. Oh my gosh, the people here are so kind, lovely, fantastic, cheerful, smart, and enthusiastic. The people of Bhutan will cause you to re-think so many things about life, living, and happiness. The ENTIRE hotel staff are the very best people you will ever meet in life. Just absolutely wonderful! The hotel itself is extremely clean and comfortable. The food is excellent. The staff know exactly what a business (and leisure) traveller needs. Thank you so much!!!

The hotel actually noted my birthday and gave me a surprise birthday celebration with cake and song at the breakfast buffet! I was so surprised! That is not the end. After returning from our day tour, we returned to see our room nicely decorated with towel art, balloons and a lovely card from the housekeeper. Thank you Le Meridian!

Incredible customer service. They treat you like family. Great food quality. Fantastic suite . Clean . I can't say enough about the staff and hotel . Club m lounge cocktails the best .... truly we left our hearts in Bhutan

This hotel was so good and we had unforgettable moments. There were great employers for services like: Deki, Rem, Sunita and Ugyen. This hotel have more facilities for customers and good behavior with us.

Serene space, clean but dated. My room had a Mountain View, was quite nice when the sun was rising.
