Le Méridien Vienna was an excellent choice for our stay. The rooms are very large by European standards, and we were fortunate to receive a suite upgrade, which made the stay especially comfortable after long days of sightseeing. The suite was spotless — everything was impeccably clean, especially the bathroom and the bed, which made a big difference for a comfortable and relaxing stay.||One of the biggest highlights was breakfast. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, I contacted the hotel in advance and they graciously arranged complimentary breakfast not only for my husband and me, but also for the couple traveling with us. The buffet itself was outstanding — freshly cooked eggs to order, beautiful pastries, fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. It was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had.||Service throughout the hotel was warm, polished, and professional. We also enjoyed stopping by the You Bar several times for evening drinks and light snacks — a great place to relax after a day out in the cold. The location is excellent, with most of Vienna’s major sights just a 15–20 minute walk away.||There were a few drawbacks. The room ran extremely warm, even in winter, which made sleeping difficult. We also had significant noise from a neighboring suite where a family with young children was staying — we could clearly hear laughing, shouting, and activity through the adjoining door. The hotel did call the neighboring room after we complained, but it didn’t help much. Thankfully, the connecting door was on the sitting-room side of our suite and not the bedroom, or it would have been a much bigger issue.||In terms of value, Vienna is a very expensive city, but we booked using a government/military rate and felt the stay was absolutely worth the price given the spacious accommodations, excellent service, and prime location.||Overall, Le Méridien Vienna delivered a beautiful, comfortable, and distinctly European hotel experience, and we would absolutely stay here again.
