I’ve stayed at Le Metropolitan three times over the years, and it’s become one of my favorite Marriott Bonvoy options in Paris. I’m an Ambassador Elite member and most recently stayed four nights in October for work.||||On my last two visits I booked the Eiffel View Suite, which is every bit as impressive as the photos suggest. The view is spectacular and incredibly “Instagrammable” if you care about that sort of thing. The 2nd-floor suite has a narrow balcony directly facing the Eiffel Tower, which makes it perfect for photos and videos. One small note: if you book a suite, you’ll be asked to sign a release agreeing not to move the mattress off the bed.||||That said, there are trade-offs with the rooms. The standard rooms are extremely small and don’t have a functional desk setup for working. On a stay when I wasn’t upgraded, the staff kindly arranged for me to use a conference room so I could work comfortably, which I really appreciated. Even in the suites, though, there’s still no proper desk chair, which is frustrating if you’re trying to work for any length of time.||||The suites also have an odd setup for power outlets by the bed: they’re recessed into the floor. If you don’t have a longer charging cable, it’s awkward to use your phone in bed while it charges.||||On the positive side, the hotel’s Acqua di Parma toiletries are fantastic and feel very much in line with an upscale boutique property.||||Service-wise, my experience was mostly good but a bit inconsistent. On my most recent stay, housekeeping skipped my room entirely one day for no clear reason. It wasn’t a big deal for me, just unexpected. There was no iron or ironing board in the room, but one was brought up promptly when I requested it. The hotel doesn’t offer a shoe shine service, which feels like a miss for a property that otherwise aspires to be quite high-end.||||Security is one area that gave me pause. On two separate stays, in two different rooms, the door did not latch fully unless I gave it a hard slam. I suspect the wood has warped over time, but it does mean you have to double-check that your door has actually closed, which isn’t ideal.||||Breakfast is the weakest part of the experience. The included continental breakfast is very bare-bones, and I found the breakfast staff neither particularly friendly nor efficient. I upgraded to the full breakfast on a few mornings; the food itself was fine, but service was slow, and I was overcharged until the front desk corrected it. For a hotel at this level, the breakfast offering and service really need an upgrade.||||In contrast, the front desk team has consistently been warm, professional, and helpful. They’ve given excellent dinner recommendations and handled issues (like the breakfast overcharge) quickly and graciously. On a previous stay I received a welcome bottle of champagne, which was a lovely touch. I didn’t receive any welcome amenity on my most recent visit. That’s obviously not required, but small gestures like that can make the stay feel special and might have nudged this review to a full 5 stars despite the issues with breakfast and some of the room quirks.||||Overall, I genuinely like Le Metropolitan and will likely continue to stay here, primarily for the location and the incredible Eiffel Tower views from the suites. It has the potential to be a truly outstanding property with a few improvements to breakfast, in-room functionality (desk/chair and outlets), and some attention to room doors and small service details.

I love Bonvoy Marriott boutique hotels for just this reason. Hotel Metropolitan was fabulous, with excellent front desk service from Stephane and Omolan, and breakfast was exquisite with the freshest pastries and superb continental breakfast and excellent friendly service from Jacinto. Having had my flight cancelled and spending 4+hrs at CDG, I rebooked my extra night and was greeted with an upgrade to a 5th Fl room with balcony and magnificent Eiffel Tower view! TY for that! The bed was perfect and this bathroom spacious and well-appointed with fabulous products. A 5-star experience in one of Marriott Bonvoy’s best boutique hotels. I will return and highly recommend!

My stay at Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel was absolutely perfect! I’ve stayed in many Paris hotels, and this was by far the best.||From the start, the customer service was exceptional, especially from Omran, who went above and beyond in recognizing my Titanium status, assisting with my bags, and offering wonderful restaurant and sightseeing recommendations.||I was upgraded to a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower — truly the best view I’ve ever had in Paris! The room was beautifully decorated and a comfortable size for Paris standards (most rooms are small regardless of where you go).||Even though it’s part of the Marriott family, the hotel has the warm, personal feel of a boutique property, which made it even more special. The restaurant served excellent food, and the pool and spa area are nice features to have available if needed. ||This is now my favorite hotel in Paris, thanks to the outstanding service of Omran and the unforgettable view. I can’t wait to return!

Start to Finish A+++. From the communications leading up to our stay as I wanted our 25th wedding anniversary trip to be nothing short of extraordinary. Ohla made us feel like the only couple staying on property from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we got in our Uber after seven wonderful days on property. Although the rooms are small, they are very modern, beds are comfortable and the view from our room day and night of the Eiffel Tower was icing on the cake. Just another reason why I have well over 1k nights at Bonvoy properties! I also can’t forget to thank Jacinto and the entire restaurant team for making our daily breakfast special and helping us feel right at home. The indoor pool and steam room was an excellent treat especially before a full day of travel back home. 5 stars ⭐️ all around. THANK YOU for helping make this special occasion even more special and one we will remember for a lifetime.

With a clear view of Eiffel Tower from the room, the hotel is perfectly located. Sebastian at the front desk was amazing who recommended some of the best bakeries around the hotel!||Breakfast was simple but elegant. The services of Jaeinto and Rimon were excellent. They were not only professional but thoughtful.

Had a wonder 4 night stay at this hotel. The hotel staff very nice, full of information and always greeted us when we came in and left. The location is just one block from Trocadero. From there you are able to catch the metro or bus. Many great cafes also a block away. Beds are very comfy and nice bathrooms. My only complaint is that the room was very small. We managed, but would have liked a little more room. But you can not beat the location and seeing the Eiffel Tower every morning and evening!

Great hotel, superb location, and even better service. The hotel staff was very accommodating and kind. Jaeinto who worked in the restaurant/bar remembered our room number, names, and breakfast order by the second day of our stay which made us feel like regulars. Clear views of the Eiffel Tower from the room are a huge plus too. We would definitely stay here again!

We had The Eiffel Tower suite with a view and it was amazing!! The suite was well designed with a large bathroom and sitting area. The staff is incredibly helpful. Breakfast was elegant and the service in the restaurant was excellent! I couldn’t recommend this more…great location and spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower. Very romantic!
