Where to Stay in Prague (Updated 2025)

"A short walk from Vršovice, Le Palais Art Hotel is a grand luxury property littered with art in the lobby and rooms — I noted sketches by Le Corbusier — offering a cultured, upscale stay near the nightlife." - Matthew Kepnes

We had a great time at this hotel! Staff was very courteous and helpful! Room was great and decent size. We had an issue with the AC which did not cool the room enough. Staff was nice to find a cooler which did the job :) Location is great and area has more than enough options for food and amenities! Highly recommend!

I had an excellent stay — the hotel offers a luxurious atmosphere, professional and attentive staff, and beautifully furnished rooms that ensure a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with Prague ham being a must-try. Overall, a high-level experience I can confidently recommend.

We had a perfect stay at the perfect hotel. The staff was super friendly and kind, and they went above and beyond our requests to make us feel at home! A big thank you to Sabina, who gave us tips on Prague. We wouldn't be able to understand the public transport without her. A big tip from Sabina that everyone should consider. Don't start exploring from the National museum and walk up to the castle, you will get really tired and be out of the way from the hotel. Take the tram 23, ride it all the way up to the castle and then you make your way down. It's so much more convenient and your don't have to climb those crazy stairs.

The perfect base away from the hubbub of central Prague but close enough to be very easily walkable. The room was perfect and breakfasts on the sunny terrace set us up for the day. |If you wanted to be a stagger away from a pub or were less able to enjoy the walk home at the end of the day find somewhere more central but for us it was the perfect haven from which to see Prague and very reasonably priced.

Beautiful hotel with a focus on all the details. People working there are incredibly nice and pay so much attention to all your needs. The breakfast terrace offers a nice calm area with a nice view and allows you to relax in the morning. Our room was very quiet and we could sleep with the window open which was very nice. We definitely recommend staying here and we'll be coming back!

The rooms are really nice, very comfortable bedding and furnishings excellent breakfast and best of all for us the staff are incredible. Here's what happened to us.....||I would like to write and thank in particular your receptionist Zuzana.||During our stay (day 2) my husband (Wayne) was taken seriously ill with pneumonia. I went to Zuzana to ask if she knew of a doctor I could find/call as Wayne needed urgent medical help and in a foreign country I did not know what to do nor did I know whom to ring. ||Zuzana became a super human. She took down all my details, all the details of my Wayne's symptoms and suggested she , she, ring the emergency number. She did not say|| " you need to....." ||she did not say ||" not my problem" ||she took the problem and gave me the breathing space I needed. I was scared and so upset with Wayne behind so so ill.||She rang and explained fully that we don't speak Czech, he was very very ill, we were very scared.||She told me to go back to the room and she would bring the ambulance people up to us and I'm not too worry as it's all under control. This woman is an angel. ||The ambulance arrived she bought them up, made sure I was ok. ||We went to hospital and 7 hours later we came back with medication etc. The first thing Zuzana did was to ask how we are, ANYTHING we need just ask. She got some tea made for me and some juice for my Wayne , I felt so looked after and so did he. ||The attention to detail, the care,  the empathy was simply wonderful and outstanding. ||All this she did whilst simultaneously doing her job of front of house with other customers. ||No panic, just utter professionalism and compassion. ||The next morning ( today Sunday) again first thing.....||How is he and how are you? ||If you need anything please just ask and it will happen. ||And the most amazing part of all is this??? She her self was feeling unwell the entire time and yet it did not stop her. ||This email needs to be shown to everyone that this is how you care for guests, and this will go on to trip advisor and Google reviews to show that a hotel does not have to be sterile and stuffy etc it can be a gentle caring place but still be highly professional. ||You could say that she has had good training, and I'm sure she has, but training someone does not guarantee they will be good, it only means they were shown what to do.||We will tell everyone about Zuzana and le palis hotel and this is THE hotel to stay at.||Sad for us we leave tomorrow and have seen nothing of what Prague has to offer due to being stuck in the room. ||Would you please inform your director ||Josef Neufus he needs to know how good Zuzana is. ||

The location was perfect, close to key attractions but still quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the breakfast buffet, which had a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The hotel also had great facilities like a fitness center and a relaxing lounge area. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Five stars!

Really enjoyed the one night we had at this place. The hotel was located conveniently next to a tram station and a walk away from most places including the museum, Wenceslas square etc.. Prague is a relatively small city so this area was too far from anything, but also not too close to anything.. the decor of the hotel was beautiful, the room though a bit awkward was very nice, and the bath tub was excellent. The breakfast specially was very very nice, with an assortment of the usual continental items, but with some really nice tuna, smoked salmon and trout.. highly recommended..

Yelp
I fell in love with Le Palais on my first visit to Prague a few years ago, so it was a pretty easy choice to make for my "home away from home" on my most recent visit. As its name suggests, everything about "the Palace" is tastefully luxurious - from the opulent architecture and exquisitely appointed rooms, to the remarkable service and amenities. Located in Prague 4, is it about a 10 min car ride away from Prague 1, where you can find a lot of the tourist sites. So it is a tiny bit outside of the hustle/bustle of the Mala Strana/Old Town etc., but if you're in the mood for a stroll it is a pretty straight shot from the hotel down to the Charles Bridge area (about 30 mins walking with stuff to see along the way). So the hotel is gorgeous - staff is very welcoming - multi-lingual staff makes it easy to communicate. Exhausted after my arrival, I sent my bags up to the room and popped in to The Library right off the lobby to grab a quick bite for lunch. Set like an English library you would see in a home, replete with comfortable armchairs, walls of books, and an open fireplace, it was quite cozy. I had a pasta fagioli and Duck breast with risotto that was utterly divine! To note: there is an absolutely gorgeous Summer Terrace to dine on with a wonderful view of the hills and the city. My guestroom was beautiful - about 300 sq ft deluxe room with a King Size bed. Marble EVERYWHERE - all the bathroom walls, counters, and even the frame around the mirror. But what I LOVED the most - the FLOORS ARE HEATED! Yes, you heard me right. You know when you wake up early in the AM to go to the bathroom and your bare feet hit the floor - well it is nice and toasty warm! They also have state-of-the-art equipment in the bathroom - an electronic box on the wall does everything at the touch of a button - lift the toilet seat, warm the toilet seat, control the bidet, warmth of water etc. etc. Yes you can lift the seat yourself, but hey! Less germs on the hands, maybe? Lol Anywho, the geek in me thought it was neat! Hallways again were gorgeous, Victorian themed furniture spotted throughout the halls. Lots of luxury amenities - private car service, personal shopper etc and the concierge can even arrange for hunting, horseback riding, castle hopping, or any other activity you would like to partake in while you're there. Luxury jewelry pieces are displayed throughout and available for purchase as well. The Pure Spa was a little slice of heaven - will have to do a separate review on that one. Definitely one of my fave hotels in Europe!

Yelp
I have experiences only with restaurant so that´s what I am reviewing. And it´s perfect. It´s not for regular dinning because of pretty high prices but it´s definitely worth it. Everything is simply awesome. Service, meals, enviroment, everything. Waitres know when to come and yet you don´t have a feeling that they stare at you. Enviroment is very luxury and still not overdecorated. It has everything what you expect from high class restaurant and you don´t regret money spent. Meals are delicious and the best is seven courses menu. But I am pretty sure that you will love whatever you order. They focus more on light meals like mediterrian cousine. Also choice of wine is excellent. As I said it´s not for regular dinning (as far as it´s not paid by your company) but I definitely recommend to visit this place at least once.
