Beautiful and cute little hotel just outside of Gordes. The service and the food are very good. The breakfast is small but with delicious local items. The dinner restaurant is also very good with a small menu. Therefore a bit difficult for vegetarians. The rooms are very small and a bit tight for two people. All in all a great place to stay for a couple of nights. Highly recommendable!

I absolutely loved our room! The balcony made it for me with the pretty vines and plants. The food was good. The pool was PHENOMENAL! So warm and I had it to myself for a long while. The only thing I didn’t like was I was traveling with a group and they squished us all into a room for dinner that was clearly too small with no windows opened. Therefore it was way too LOUD ! To the point I had to leave early. In addition the other 2 hotels on our trip allowed our group to sit wherever we wanted for breakfast. But here We were all relegated to the same tiny room with sun in our faces even though there were tons of available seats in the main dining area. It was only better bc not everyone was ready to eat all at once so was a bit less crowded. Also thankfully they relented and let the latecomers eat in the quieter main room. Having an outdoor option would be helpful. This was early May and very doable weather wise. Otherwise it’s a great hotel. So not an issue unless you’re traveling in a group. I hope they adjust their group dinner policies and put half in one room and half elsewhere or start seating outside!

Service has really deteriorated over the last few years. I visited in 2018 last and the quality of service and facilities was much better back then. Things we did not like: - Daily room cleaning. Done very poorly. We had to ask multiple times to hoover the floor. - SPA. Insulting to call it as such. It’s a one-metre squared box and a small bath in a dark and fairly sad room. Chlorine level close to toxic. - Price of drinks. €8 for pastis and €17 for very average cocktails. Staff are not trained to make cocktails, hence the price is ridiculous. - Reception. Very weird smell in the reception area. One lady was not very friendly and chased for checkout despite we were on time. We also had to ask several times to have fresh water in the room and were ignored. - General cleanliness. Yoga area quite neglected with dirty towels hanging around for days. This is far from a 4 stars in my view.

I had issue with visa and unfortunately could not make my reservation. I knew the cancellation is last min and tried to talk to the hotel and maybe change dates and get 50% refund for last few days of the stays. however the hotel insists in charging me for the whole 5-day stay of over 1000 euros. I tried to reach the decision maker and the hotel just does not wanna connect me with that person. very unprofessional and not friendly

The hotel is in a beautiful location with dramatic views across the valley. The room was very well appointed and staff visited to check everything was ok three times a day. The continental breakfast offered plenty of choice and the gourmet evening meal was of a high standard. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. A lovely pool made lounging on sunny afternoons a delight. Hordes is a dramatic small town and the market is to be recommended. A very relaxing location for a holiday.

I made a reservation for April 2024 in Nov 2023 and today on January 10th, 2024 I got an email letting me know they closed this hotel permanently on January 7th. I had prepaid in full for my reservation but they mentioned nothing about a refund to me in their email. This is just terrible. They need to give me my money back and can't just keep it. It is a lot of money. How do I get in touch with someone to give me my refund? I emailed back on their closure note right away but haven't heard anything back. What a fraud they have committed. Edit to add: I tried calling them, and they don't answer their phone. Literally they took my money and shut down their hotel.

Pros: Friendly staff, fantastic views, nice food, lovely pool, Given a 10% discount. Cons: Room had one small shelf and one short rail, we were there for four nights and lived out of our suitcases. On the first night we waited one hour between the starter and main courses at dinner. We arrived back at 4pm. after cycling all day and the room had not been cleaned. We had to leave the room whilst this was done and then found it had been done poorly. Despite having supposedly been repaired, the coffee machine in our room did not work. Even with the discount, our stay was over priced. They failed to reply to my email, which the receptionist asked me to submit.

We stayed here for three nights in June on a cycling trip - our second visit to the hotel! The booking had to be amended at short notice due to Covid and the hotel could not have been more accommodating - a good start! Our stay was first class - incredibly helpful staff (special mention for Steve, Mathieu and Valentine - the names I can remember but they are all lovely) with very comfortable rooms and delicious food and drink. Our return flight was then cancelled and the hotel could not have been more helpful in arranging a taxi to get us to Avignon and liaising with Europcar. If you haven't been here before you will be assured of a warm welcome, excellent service in an amazing location. In fact the only downside is that if you are riding a bike to the hotel and coming from the south, it's all uphill to get there (but I can't blame them for that)! In short, if you stay here you won't be disappointed!
