Le Panoramic Hôtel

We enjoyed our stay here including having a drink by the pool. Beautiful views! The included breakfast was decent with make your own soft boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, meat and cheese charcuterie, croissants, bread, minimal fruit, etc. Rooms/beds were decent too, clean. Great hotel bar on site.

It’s in a super nice location with great views hence the name. Rooms are comfortable with AC and very clean. The pool is nice but can get crowded at times. No gym but with all the hills to walk you won’t miss that. Breakfast is a continental style with good options and fresh. The views are also great from the tables. Staff spoke limited English so knowing French will help you much more. It’s a nice walk to the town square and many restaurant options. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful short stay in Sancerre and the Panoramic was a great choice. Large comfortable room, well equipped and easy check in etc. |the great thing is the amazing location overlooking the valley but also a short walk to the village centre with it’s restaurants and bars. |We also sat out the back one evening after dinner and star gazed near the pool.

An excellent stopover spot to overlook the local vineyards and to dive into the local flavours. The hotel itself is very modern and well-equipped. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, and their poolside is a great setting for a swim and glass of local wine. In the evening, the staff were extremely knowledgeable about their wines on offer.

2 night stay in a Junior Suite.|Nice modern hotel (revamp 2018), situated close to centre of village (7 min walk uphill). |Buffet breakfast room faces fabulous countryside view-windows from floor to ceiling.. There is no restaurant but plenty nearby-check their opening days/hours however.|Nice bar space -part of it faces the lovely views similar to breakfast room. There is a small narrow balcony/terrace area.|My only disappointment was the ambiance of our room living area and the size of the windows. The room was so blandly/simply furnished -it badly needs a little more colour ? A coloured cushion or a patterned curtain ? Very odd. (sofa bed uncomfortable to sit on though this was only noticed as we were in our room a little longer due to the weather ) . |And yes I agree with an earlier review that commented on the window size- you can only enjoy the view if your are standing right at the window-as soon as you sit down all you can see is sky. As this is a main feature/asset it is quite a surprise that they are not much bigger. A great pity.

A totally superb hotel in every way. It is one of the best places we have stayed in France for may years and extremely good value for the price point||The room ( overlooking the vineyard and well worth the extra) was superb and very modern , this is combined with staff who are very knowledgable about the local area and even the local wines (which is the whole point of being there!)||We will be back

Stunning view… but that’s the only highlight. Behind the 4* façade, service is disappointing: poorly insulated rooms, early morning wake-ups from housekeeping, and no sign of friendliness or warmth. Our request for two adjoining rooms was ignored until we insisted. Food is almost non-existent: dinner served in reheated jars. The pool area is surrounded by broken parasols, showing a lack of maintenance. Staff often smoke at the entrance — hardly the welcome expected from such a hotel. In short: great for one night to enjoy the view and sunset, but avoid for a longer stay if you expect real service and quality.

A delightful hotel ideally situated for a visit to Sancerre with excellent parking nearby. The hotel itself has a very nice wine bar and bar with a delicious selection of food available for breakfast.
