We spent a couple of nights in this wonderful guest house before our wedding and we loved it! The setting, the rooms and the kindness of the owners make it a really special place. All the room are nicely decorated and have a lot of charm, breakfast are delicious (home-made jam, baguette, fresh coffee..) and you can also use the kitchen to make your own lunch/diner and have it on one of the many tables in the garden. ||It was a really relaxing place to spend the really hectic days before our wedding and the owners even got us a wedding present. We will be back!

Spent two nights at the Paradis de Marie. Clothilde is a great host, she has done a very nice job renovating this guesthouse and adding a lovely personal touch. She and her husband were very helpful when it came to organise activities and recommend places. Breakfast is amazing with a little daily special in addition to fresh bread and gorgeous jams. We will definitely come back on our next trip.

We have had an excellent time in the 'Paradise of Marie' very friendly and enormous spacious rooms. It was an heaven of peace and nicely decorated rooms with good taste. We loved the dining room with open kitchen and had a nice conversation with Marie as we are colleques with a B&B in the south of France. Mas la Jaina in Bargemon, Provence. ||St. Amour bellevue is a great spot to start exploring Beaujolais! And the name of the area "Paradis" is well chosen by the ancient people living here as we felt in real Paradise!

Stayed 3 nights at the Paradis de Marie mid August for a wedding near by. ||Marie is a very friendly host, efficient and helpful. ||||All the rooms are very different. Mine was La Galets, first floor. Large double room, bathroom only separated by a small partition, large shower. Travel hairdryer and kettle supplied but you need to get milk and various tea bags from the kitchen provided for guests. ||All the rooms are scattered on the property. Saw all of them and they have their own charm, some a bit old fashion but very quaint. The Roulotte "Gyspy Caravan" for the younger generation was also charming, situated near the pool surrounded by vinyards. Bare in mind being Chambre d'hôtes, beds are not made for you in the morning. ||||Breakfast is very French. Delicious crunchy croissants, pain au Chocolat, bread assortments freshly bought every morning served around a large table in this quaint kitchen for guests only. Home made jams and marmalade, yoghurt, juice, tea, fresh coffee and fresh fruits provided.||||The kitchen was also available for our own use outside breakfast hours provided we cleaned after. No dishwater. Free wifi but a bit iffy, only in certain place in the property. ||||A very nice relaxing stay, first experience in a Chambre d'Hôtes and loved the concept. Thank you Marie for making us so welcome.

Le Paradis de Marie is a beautiful and sensitively-restored old farmhouse in the quaint village of St Amour Bellevue.||It is made of golden stones and has a shady central courtyard to relax in. Even better, there is a large garden with fruit trees and a pool, complete with ancient rusty gate opening onto acres and acres of vines.||There is a lovely well-maintained swimming pool and outdoor dining facilities.||We stayed in the studio and an adjoining enormous bedroom. This was perfect for our needs (couple and a toddler). The rooms were spacious and cool despite the 34 degree heat outside.||The village itself is charming with two Michelin-starred restaurants and there is loads to see & do nearby.||Absolutely 5*

Marie & Laurent have certainly created a very unusual and special place to stay, nestling in the wonderful vineyards of Mâconnais. They have very tastefully and stylishly created a Chambre d'Hote that is both comfortable and welcoming. The clever use of carefully chosen furniture and decorations from antiques through to flea-market treasures gives the rooms real character.||||We stayed in 'La Peintre' which had a comfortable double, with feature shower and bathroom, with a small double up on a mezzanine accessed by some steep steps, which our 2, nearly 3 year old daughter thought was really cool and exciting. Our friend stayed in 'Le Galets' less architecturally interesting than'La Peintre' but nevertheless very stylishly furnished and comfortable.||||A very 'french' breakfast of fresh croissants, pain au chocolat and french bread with a selection of home made confiture and bowls of coffee, chocolate or the (customary weak) tea welcomed the guests. This all served in a quirky yet delightful room, adjoined by a kitchen and little seating area for guests to use. We were often joined by their friendly cat and excitable Jack Russell 'Frazer' who was keen to join us but soon shooed away by Madam!||||Downsides, very few, non-acceptance of credit cards could be one and the fact that on a two-night stay our rooms weren't serviced, not essential, but would have been nice for the bin to be emptied and bathroom/toilet given a once-over.||||Overall a very pleasant stay, ideal base to explore the vineyards, one that we will probably use again in the future. ||||They also have some studio's and a wonderful old caravan in the garden so not just a Chambre d'Hote! Also plenty of on-site parking and children's facilities in the garden, which we didn't use as was raining the entire time!
