There is no need to respond, as I am not expecting one. However, the level of rudeness displayed by your staff is unacceptable and frankly shocking.
Blaming the limited space of the boutique as an excuse for not allowing customers to properly try perfumes is simply unprofessional.
If the space does not allow you to provide a basic customer experience, then perhaps the location is not suitable for this type of business. You are trying to sell lorries in a studio flat. Trying to sell luxury products in a space that cannot accommodate customers properly does not work.
What is most disappointing is not the size of the boutique, but the dismissive attitude and lack of courtesy shown toward customers. If you are unable to serve potential customers respectfully and professionally, it may be better to reconsider your current setup whether that means relocating or moving fully online.
At the very least, customers deserve respect.
