Le Perchoir has an amazing view, and that's about it. I came here with my boyfriend for an after dinner drink, as we were passing by and there was no line (there is always a huge line). It was a Wednesday evening, late October, so I guess that kind of explains it.
We came up, and were almost the oldest people there (we're only 24). We came during the vacances scolaires, and it seemed the lycée students were really enjoying their weeks off. We each had a 6-7 euro glass of wine, which was almost undrinkable. Firstly, the white wine selection only consisted of chardonnay (whyyyy?), so I asked which rose was the most dry and ordered that (it wasn't even dry). The whole bottle probably cost less than 6 euros, so the markup here is massive. My boyfriend's red was also almost undrinkable. I would so much rather they invest in quality wine, and I'd be happy to pay a bit more. The view really is beautiful, and the space is quite nice (although now that it's colder the space isn't open, they have kind of a tent set up, with a really small area that is actually outside if you want to appreciate the view). If they want to cater to a really young clientele by serving cheap wines at decent prices, then they are doing it right (cocktails are more expensive). If there is a huge line outside, I'd advise against coming up here unless you are dead set on seeing the views.
