Le Petit Cambodge

We went to Le Petit Cambodge on our first night in Paris. We came without reservation and got a table right away. The young waitress was very sweet, and helpful. The food was good, and the portions were filling. There was a nice array of vegetarian options. Price-quality was also good.

Super experience, fantastic food, top service by Yao, extremely gentle and caring. Deserves a raise, I would come back only for his service. The specialty dishes were exceptional, tasty and rich of flavor. 5 stars not even enough.

Very attentive staff, nice ambiance with beautiful lights, exciting new tastes - we had a lovely evening trying Cambodian food for the first time. Good value for money.

Very disappointed… We went after seeing the 4.9 stars with 2000 reviews but our experience did not satisfy our expectations. It was not authentic. We took the fish amok (which had almost no taste and was very dry), the caramel pork (very well cooked but the meat itself tasted off) and a bahn xeo with pork and shrimp (this one was good but not incredible). Over all the food was disappointing and did not taste like in Cambodia. We were also a little chocked with the service as the lady taking care of our table was very rude and made us feel like we were bothering her.

This is a great place for a quick meal. We went for an early lunch at 12:15 and by 13:00 it was really busy. There is indoor and some outdoor seating. A great menu with plenty of vegetarian options. The formulae dejeuner is great value. Staff are helpful, great busy atmosphere and the food is so good.

We knew Le Petit Cambodge as we had been several times to the historical site at Alibert. Now we visited Vellefaux. Result? Great and fresh food, excellent service and very nice location. Thanks, we'll be back.
