Cute setup with a view to either look up to the alps or towards the village. As truffle lovers we were missing the strong truffle flavour in the truffle fondue as it was only subtile. The salad on the other hand had such vibrant taste and created a well balanced dinner for us. We also had the vegan fondue which was another highlight since two of us can not have dairy but didn’t want to miss out on the fun. We were there with our kids. The staff was super friendly and not a moment annoyed by the curiosity of the boys sneaking into the kitchen. Thank you. We shall come again, perhaps in winter.

One of the most adorable fondue / raclette experience. They also have meat fondue if you make a reservation in advance. The staff is friendly, attentive and passionate about what they do. It’s a simple concept that makes you feel as if you were invited into a friend’s cozy chalet for a personal and intimate dining experience. The wine is good and not terribly priced for the vibe. We had the truffle fondue.

I stopped by here after doing a map search for restaurants and chose this spot because of the high reviews, and it was later on a Saturday and plenty of places closer to me had closed or were insanely packed. So I wandered down to this neat little place and sat outside. I ordered the summer special “petit menu” of salad, pomme frites, and 1/2 a chicken for 30 francs. Many menu items were considerably more than that, so it is a bit expensive (unlike many others visiting the area, I am not very wealthy.) The special was a good deal for me, so if you’re on a budget like me, check out their specials. The salad greens were very good - and I mean VERY fresh - no signs of wilt in any form in the leaves like I’ve seen often in my travels (looking at you Dolce in Montreux). This all looked like it was picked that morning. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, skin was delightfully crispy, and meat tender. The fries were very good as well and they provide a lot (but I ate them all!). No condiments were offered for the fries, and I didn’t ask either. This certainly didn’t seem like a ketchup type of place, although an aioli dressing of some sort to go with them would have been pleasant. The fries oddly stole the show for me. They didn’t really need the crutch of a dipping sauce. Perfect crispiness outside and a soft interior. No sogginess at all. Lightly salted which is perfect, really unmasks the flavor - not just salt. Not sure the type of potato or oil being used, but certainly what I consider to be perfect fry execution! The wait staff was friendly and attentive, very good humor and put up with my poor French - I used this opportunity to practice just a wee bit, or should I say “oui“ bit? [insert drum rimshot here]. I took no pictures because I was too busy eating.

Wonderful in every way. The quiet intimacy of the limited seating, added to the intimacy of the shared dining fondue experience and the quality of the ingredients makes for an exceptional dinner with family or friends. The wine pairing was perfection, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommended.

Really cute (and tiny) chalet beside the hotel. We enjoyed charcuterie, truffle fondue, and chocolate fondue… the restaurant wine list is extraordinary (petrus, DRC, etc)

We found that the price of the raclette simply wasn’t justified (we only had a handful of potatoes, some pieces of dried bread and a few pickled onions and gherkins to accompany the cheese, for 68 CHF for two people). The taste was nothing special although I’m confident the cheese was of excellent quality. On a positive note, it was a cozy place and the service was good.

Ana & Elias make the perfect binomial for running this place; the irreplaceable human touch that is so much missing these days everywhere else. Good food. The place is beyond cute. A unique experience no doubts. Gracias! PS. My child says “thank you for the food”
