Le Petit Chapitre Chimay

Did a motortrip in july 2021 through Belgium and France with my friend. We stayed one night at this beautifull place and the owners were really friendly.|I would definitly recommend this place to everybody! The price and quality of the hotel is also good.

We returned once again to this charming little hotel in the heart of Chimay.||||The rooms are full of charm with each one having a particular them, Cotton, Opera, and so on. Linen sheets, beautifully laundered. ||||Breakfast is taken in the splendid dinning room which is decorated in the individual and delightful taste of Brigitte Marcq the owner. ||||Over breakfast we spoke to the other guests, unsurprisingly they all return each year. ||||Brigitte and her husband Guy are friendly and welcoming. They have a god knowledge of the area and are able to recommend good local restaurants.||||We will always return, if You are looking for somewhere to stay in the south of belgium, head for Le Petite Chapitre, you won't be disappointed.

Without a doubt the prettiest b and b I've ever been to. The owners have added artifacts to make your stay comfortable. We stayed in the blue room at the front of the house. I adored the en suite. ||A romantic hotel which even included a well stocked and very reasonably priced mini bar. ||Breakfast is home produced. We had fromage frais with fruits followed by Belgian porridge, then French toast and finished with bread and pastries with home made conserves. It was all wonderful. ||I would definitely return - as many guests seem to.

As soon as we arrived the owner had the right recommendation for a local restaurant and even offered us to book it for us. We had the nicest room with the church view, a lovely postcard on Chimay from the B&B window. The breakfast was spectacular, freshly made smoothy with fruit of the season and the lady had just baked some home made cakes: don't bother visit any bakery they were absolutely incredible. Everything a lot of character, from the music in the breakfast room to the room and the place itself. Bravi!

Where do I begin about Chimay B&B? We arrived there early evening after a long drive from UK. We were welcomed in very warmly and even got a choice of which room we wanted! The interior decor was lovely and each room was decorated to a different theme; we took the cat room and the blue room, both with views of the church across the road. The beds were very comfy and the rooms were spacious, exactly what we needed for our nights stay. |The breakfast was delicious. There was a small strawberry appetiser waiting for us when we got there. We were then treated to bread, fresh toast, croissants, fruit, homemade jams, spreads, local cheeses and even a cake. |We had problems with the car and the owners didn't hesitate in helping us out. They contacted the garage for us to say what the problem was and even came down in the morning to help us with the language barrier. Both were very friendly and it made our stay at Chimay B&B very pleasant. |Thank you!

I stayed two nights in this wonderful period era home. Rooms are beautifully furnished, with a lot of attention to detail. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection of Belgian foods including local cheese, jams, marmalade and four different kinds of chocolate paste. I even found a Belgian chocolate egg on my pillow on Easter Sunday. One of the best B&B's I have visited, not just in Belgium but in Europe more widely.

We stayed only one night at this place, but it was enough to fell in love. Everything was perfect! The location is the best possible, you can know the city walking around. We were very welcomed, and we could choose our bedroom. Our bedroom was very clean, tidy and confortable with a great bed. The bathroom is good equally - for us will be better with a shower (there is only a bathtub). The breakfast was great! Everything fresh and tasty. If you like cats, this place is perfect: the owner has 3 lovely cats.

I had a wonderful stay at this place for a weekend with my girlfriend. We stayed there to enjoy the countryside and it didn't disappoint. Brigitte welcomed us and was there whenever needed, and we made nice encounters there with other people around a copious breakfast. An atmosphere you can't match in any hotel, with the same service. We'll come back. :)
