"Le Petit Chou, or the Little Cabbage, is a term of endearment in the French language. It’s the perfect name for this four-suite boutique hotel sitting on a historic square in the medieval village of Entraygues. Beautifully restored and lovingly cared for, the hotel has high-ceilinged interiors with exposed brick walls. Each room is individually decorated: one has gilded mirrors and a glittering chandelier, another has Moroccan rugs and vintage furnishings. All come with espresso machines and retro minibars, and two have French doors opening onto private balconies overlooking the cobblestoned street below, which teems with color and activity on market days. Buttery pastries and excellent coffee are served downstairs, or if you’d rather, delivered to your room in a basket.
