After a disappointing early dinner at Chic in Hotel de la Coupole, we ended up here for a coffee-and-dessert binge — and it was a comforting reset.
Our server was very warm, attentive, and efficient. She got our orders out quickly and even moved us to a better spot on the second floor, where we enjoyed views of a chilly, foggy Sapa night. The place itself is clean, cute, and cozy, with a charming forever-Christmas vibe.
Desserts were hit and miss. The apple pie with ice cream was below average, while the tiramisu was just okay. The clear winner for us was the passion fruit cake — tangy, smooth, not overly sweet, and beautifully balanced.
For drinks: the cold coconut coffee with ice cream looked impressive but leaned too far into dessert territory; the coconut flavor was overpowering, and the use of older coconut meat didn’t quite work texture-wise. The hot coconut coffee was better and enjoyable on its own, though having tried Cong’s coconut coffee first set a very high bar. Their egg coffee was yummy and better than those along Train Street, though still far from the refinement of Café Dinh and Café Giang. The yellow fruit shake (likely a mango–passion fruit blend) was fresh, clean-tasting, and nicely restrained in sweetness.
Overall, a cozy, pleasant spot for desserts and drinks — especially if you’re looking to wind down on a cold Sapa night.
