Le Petit Lac

It is a great place to enjoy the view of Lake Leman and well served dishes at the same time. I love the octopus salad ; The portion of every dish was large enough to enjoy the whole dinner time. Lastly, you should try the dessert!

Just love this restaurant by the lake. Staff were attentive. Cosy environment. The open deck was wonderful overlooking the Geneva lake. Free parking. Very good for friends gathering and chilling. Food was nicely plated, delicious and tasty. Will definitely go again.

Amazing view and great service but the food is ok

I don’t like filets de perches!!!! I went there for the filets de perches lovers and they were ecstatic!!!! I think I even wanted to try it one more time as it looked yummy!!!! While I had a gigantic tasty Oreille d’Elephant escalope Milanaise, i won’t forget about 3 very important factors behind my 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 1. The service! Not only our waitress was super friendly, helpful and attentive, but also the team was running around, smiling and supporting each other 2. Starters were yummy, beef carpaccio and cheese & ham platters were succulent 3. View and setting! Wow! I’m not a good photographer, but pics say it all Highly recommended for fillets de perches and more… 1, 2, 3 ++ well done team and management!

Very nice place. A little far away from city center. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dishes very tasty. We ordered octopus salad and 2 types of pasta, all the plates were amazing (especially pasta with creamy sauce and shrimps - highly recommended). Prices a little expensive, but food definitely worth this prices. For sure we will come back there again

We were there for dinner and luckily still got a table for my family with 2 young children. We had a great look at the lake. The service was friendly and they also made a few jokes with our kids :) one of them was even able to speak English so we were able to understand them. For our kids we ordered the fish with fries and chicken nuggets. The fish really looked good and was tasteful, the chicken nuggets, however, seemed like just being some cheap frozen made up nuggets, not even a filet deep fried. Also the meals for our kids we served quite quick but everything else afterwards just took too much time! We had to wait very long for ours and in the mean time our children were done already and again had to be entertained. It was the same for dessert and even for the bill and paying we had to wait too long. I had the Paccheri Imperial and it was actually quite good. A lot of clam, mussels and shrimps, really tasty. The Mousse au chocolat again was disappointing, the Tarte au citron my wife ordered was way better but also has room for improvement. Overall I would say the restaurant is just overpriced. It was good (most of it) but also not as excellent as you would think by the price tag, unfortunately.

Amazing terrace. Use to be delicious 10 years ago. However, sadly the lac perches had an awful sauce, and were absolutely tasteless. Salads, fries, and ice creams were great though! Sadly, now too expensive for a lesser food quality.

It was a hot day and we enjoyed a table right by the lake so we had a lovely breeze. Food was simple but delicious. The only negative was the price. We had two filet de perche, fries and salad, one bottle of mineral water and two desserts. The bill was 114CHF (AUD 230) which may be ok in Switzerland but for us Australians is outrageous.
