"Why we love it: A centrally located stay with a homey feel and a floating bar The Highlights: - Self-contained cottages that feel like home - A prime location near the Petite Cavigny marina - A floating bar for sundowners and live music The Review: If you’re looking for a home rental but still want a hotel staff, Le Phare Bleu is the way to go. At this village-style resort, the suites and cottages come with kitchens and living areas for a home-away-from-home feel, plus classic Caribbean decor and wide verandas with hammocks or porch swings. Spread throughout a tropical garden, the villas also happen to be right next to the Petite Cavigny marina—an ideal location if you’re setting off on a sailing trip from Grenada. Elsewhere on the property, there are two small beaches (though they can be muddy because of the marina); kayaks, paddleboards, and a Hobie Cat for guests to use; and a shared pool. If you’re craving company—and a break from cooking—there’s also the Island Fever Tropical Tavern, which offers food all day and breakfast until 3 p.m. on Sundays (don’t miss the rotis). On Friday evenings, make your way to the floating bar that is the Lightship. A lighthouse boat that was built in 1900 and served for decades off the coast of Sweden, it’s now where hotel guests go to party, with live music, a rum bar, and tasty snacks all night long."

We stayed at this lovely resort for several weeks. The restaurant staff is amazing and treat you like family. The Asian Spa at LPB has the best massages and now their own private pool. We stay here every time we are in Grenada.

We dinghy in from our sailboat, to visit the restaurant, about twice a week. The service couldn't be better. The staff work well together. You feel like you're in the right place. Drinks and food are very good. And there's a pool you can use. The venue is beautiful

I recently spent an evening here for the Yachty Poker Run, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. My group was seated at a large table, and everyone had their own separate bills, which they all paid individually. However, when we were the last to leave, we were suddenly told that we needed to cover the entire table's bill—over $600! This situation was incredibly frustrating and unfair, as we had already paid for our own meals and drinks. It’s disappointing that the staff handled this so poorly, and it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. If you're planning to attend an event here, be sure to double-check your bill and make sure there are no unexpected charges. Would not recommend based on this experience

We have a catamaran and used a slip a couple of nights before moving to the boat yard. Then it was a 10 min dinghy ride back and forth making it super convenient. Staff very friendly, air conditioned rooms, comfortable bed. Will definitely return when sailing season opens in Fall!

Words alone can not give it justice You have to be there to believe how beautiful and tranquil the resort is, the friendly staff and the surroundings will make your stay a very special occasion you will cherish for the rest of your life, especially the management team who have worked hard over the years to make Le Phare Bleu what it is today Devin and Christine are a couple who work hand in hand and together they have become the number one in hospitality making sure everyone who stays there as a wonderful and memorable time, they have both created the perfect place to chill out relax and enjoy the best atmosphere ever.

Great place, great staff. Great food, great pool, great drinks. We stayed aboard a boat in the marina for a week and loved every second of it. I highly recommend Le Phare Bleu.

This place was great 15 years ago . Had my first date with my husband there. We were met with the greatest of hospitality then. Today we returned with our son and dog & the hospitality was horrible. We were told dogs allowed only if on a leash. To our surprise 3 other dogs were there & none on leashes . Workers at the tavern did not even attempt to enforce the rule but made it a point of telling us , the only coloured family in the tavern at the time . We were served and never addressed again . However at the same time every white patron in the vicinity was repeatedly asked how their meals were or if they needed anything. As for my little family , we had to go up to the bar to ask for service as the waitresses were busy either on their phones , singing or attending to everyone else with due diligence . We came to the conclusion that if you are a local or black , the service is definitely different on all levels. . Service was horrible.real sad as this was a sentimental place to us & now tarnished. Would not be returning .

On the recommendation of our travel consultant, we had the pleasure of visiting the spa at Le Phare Bleu Villa, which was absolutely stunning. Tucked away in a lush, meticulously maintained garden, the spa was surrounded by nature, with birds and wildlife adding to the serene atmosphere. Upon arrival, the friendly staff welcomed us with a refreshing cup of natural tea. The spa's decor was elegant and well-maintained, creating a calming and euphoric ambiance. The massage itself was outstanding, combining the techniques of both Tibetan and Swedish styles for a truly relaxing experience. It was definitely a full experience!||The spa is pricey, and ranges up to $300 for a full 80 min massage.
