Another 5 dot review. We stayed at Le Pleasant for three nights in May. The room was a good size and comfortable; but was really exceptional were the breakfasts. The hotel had a French chef who prepared the best pancake breakfast we ever had. On days when the dining room is not open to the public we were able to have multiple cappuccinos at no extra cost. Sutton itself is has numerous art galleries and upscale shops and is near a number of wineries.

We very much enjoyed the hotel, the room, and the atmosphere. We stayed Friday, Saturday night, August 2025. We had the bed and breakfast package, in a Mansard room on the 3rd floor. The reception is very friendly and informative. There is parking included however, it is tight, but you can also easily park on the street beside the hotel, and access to entrance is super close. The room is charming and clean. As far as I am aware there are no elevators to access the 3rd floor. We took the bed and breakfast package. While I enjoyed my breakfast I found the menu limited, however they did offer GF options. I give a 4 for service only because it was not easy to modify the breakfast offerings. The village is just down the street, mountain and wineries are close by. Very happy with our choice of hotel ;)

Friendly, polite staff upon check- in as well as the cafe. Clean, comfortable room but would be helpful to have more counter space or shelving in the bathroom- only a corner sink. Appreciated the shared fridge on the second floor - felt pen and labels provided. Breakfast was delicious on the outside patio. Good selection of healthy, fresh options. And nice hand-soap and lotion in the room which you could purchase. Charming heritage home with modern rooms. In town so an easy walk to shops and restaurants.

We were attending a wedding in Sutton and decided to make a weekend of the trip. This hotel was one of the suggested locations. It is small, well kept, and charming. We stayed in one of the Mansard rooms on the third floor (no elevators which is fine with me). Upon arrival we were given detailed information regarding, rooms, hours, keys and breakfast. There is a community fridge on the second floor if needed. The room has high ceilings and was very clean. Not sure if the TV is free or you have to sign up from your own accounts, did not really have time to verify, but quickly tried and could not get any channels to work. Breakfast was included (bed&breakfast package). The choices are fancy and not what we would normally eat. I did try the GF blueberry pancakes and they were very good. My friend who prefers standard bacon and eggs was not as pleased, as they were, at first, not willing to accommodate by simplifying the menu. I would not let this take away from the charm of the hotel, as most people would probably be willing to try something different, however the choice of a simple omelet, prepared as liked, would be nice. The parking is included but there is ample space on the street beside the building, (parking lot is somewhat tight). Location is great, you can walk through the village, it is close to wineries, and the mountain. On Saturday morning there was an interesting flea market just down the street. We would definitely go back.

The room and the property were lovely, clean, comfortable and surpassed our expectations. It was like staying in a boutique hotel inside a historic property with amazing architectural details. We stayed a night but wished we could have stayed longer. Sutton has a really nice, walkable downtown stretch with some great stores and the surrounding area is really beautiful to explore.

A day after we got married, we couldn't have asked for a better destination to take a break, slow down and relax.|Le Pleasant offers you a cozy, comfortable place in the heart of Sutton to do just that. Everybody there provides a warm and kind service; the room is impeccable and has everything you need. Do take the brunch offer, the food is delicious, with local products, and so fresh! We also took the spa package, and we had no regrets about our decision. We will surely go back and highly recommend this place

A cozy and charming hotel on the Main Street in Sutton and centrally located within the region. We visited from the Toronto area, stayed 2 nights and enjoyed 2 unique and delicious breakfasts in the restaurant. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and resourceful. As English speakers, not once did we have any difficulty with language barriers at the hotel or in the region. If we ever visit this region again we will make a point to stay here. Highly recommended!

Lovely, quaint hotel in the charming village of Sutton. This repurposed century home is beautifully maintained, the breakfast is delicious and the staff are both friendly and knowledgeable.

Yelp
Three of us stayed here for a girl's getaway in September. We took advantage of a package with Balnea Spa. The room was slightly larger than a regular double and had single-bed sized window seats that they made up for one of us. It was a beautiful old building that has been been renovated. They left enough of the old part to give you the feel of it. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was unique and very good. My friends had Eggs Benedict on bisquits and I have a Chia Bowl. All came with coffee or tea and a mini smoothie bowl. We plan to come again!

Yelp
They are pretty helpful and nice. They have a lot of maps and will tolerate your attempts at speaking French. The bathroom in our room (a cheaper one) had a small shower, but very clean otherwise. We got there one day late and they did not charge us, which was very nice. The breakfast is really good, if somewhat limited.

Yelp
We stayed at Le Pleasant this past January, and couldn't have picked a better place to relax for a ski weekend in the Eastern Townships. After sifting through so many bed and breakfasts looking like they hadn't been upgraded for 30 years, Le Pleasant was a truly refreshing find. The owners Michel and Bertran turned a heritage house into a sophisticated, contemporary boutique hotel. They paid attention to design detail on all fronts - check out their website and you'll see exactly what I mean. They are also fantastic hosts, creating a nice balance between providing inviting hospitality and privacy. Thanks Michel and Bertran!!
