Trendy brunch spot, this restaurant is wonderfully located. Unfortunately, it means there's a lot of coming and going and, in winter, that means an unpleasant cold gust of street wind: maybe invest in a curtain. The staff was moderately interested in serving our table and mildly polite. The food is excellent but took a long time to arrive and was expensive. Not sure I'll go again.

Great drinks and food. Servers were super nice and the atmosphere was very hip. Their menu is a wide variety of cuisines, we had dumplings, an Ecuadorian yuca dish and Lentil salad.

I was astonished that the place offers such an average espresso macchiato for 3.90 CHF (or 4.40€). This is clearly an overcharge, especially when you can enjoy far better coffee elsewhere in the Alps (Italy, Austria, and Germany) for half the price. On a more positive note, I had my first French toast here, and it was simply exquisite. The homemade bread was perfectly fluffy and crispy, and my supplemental poached egg (2.50 CHF) was flawless. However, the cinnamon apple compote topping, while possibly subject to change, didn’t quite work for me. It slightly overshadowed the otherwise perfect dish. Thankfully, the mascarpone, maple syrup, and the French toast itself were all excellent.

Very nice place to eat. The building is a beautiful, angled building. The interior nicely decorated and spacious. The middle of the room has long family-style/communal tables. The food is very nice, the French toast is thick, brioche bread. Excellent combo of bacon, eggs and bread. The eggs Benedict are really dear, very well rounded tastes. Highly recommend a stop here to eat. The service is good, quite a few servers there and they’re attentive to the needs of the customers. Bravo and thank you

Eggs Benedict are just right. 23CHF + 2 for bacon or +5 for salmon. Coffee is decent as well

We came for a brunch without reservation and was seated at the window high chairs, not the most ergonomic seat but it was nice as we could people watching the busy Saturday morning of lausanne :) They had typical brunch menu like egg benedict and more unique offer like shakshuka. Food portion was sufficient to fill up a man's hungry stomach. One of the best cafe in Lausanne!

Yelp
We were a group of 3 that came in around 11AM. The cafe was already pretty full by this time so it might be a good idea to make a reservation beforehand, especially for bigger groups. The place is trendy and laid back. There weren't a lot of menu items but enough for a small cafe. We came in on a Monday so no brunch options but we did get some pancakes and drinks. Pancakes were light, fluffy, and not too heavy or sweet. They looked pretty small but did fill us up quickly! I am curious to try their other brunch menus so maybe I will revisit if I'm in Lausanne again.

Yelp
Lovely little spot with gluten free and vegan delights. Loved every minute but it was a real uphill trek getting to this place. We took a train all the way here to Lausanne m just for the gluten free Benedict. We also had a matcha with almond milk and a hot coco with almond milk. Both were wonderful. We stayed for a couple hours, felt well taken care of and not rushed even though it's a busy place. Great service and worth the reup

Yelp
On a recent Sunday my sister and I took a day trip from Geneva to Lausanne, and after some walking around we decided to get a late brunch. Turns out not many places are open for brunch on Sundays in Lausanne, but Le Pointu happened to be right in front of us, and the menu looked great (my sister particularly liked the gluten-free bread option), so we went in and were seated immediately at two high chairs along the window (bonus: there are outlets). We found it was very nice space to eat, talk, and have a full view of everything going on in and outside of the restaurant. Perhaps more importantly, though, the food was quite delicious. We ordered a couple iced coffees, the avocado toast, and the eggs benedict with salmon. And we really enjoyed it all. I'd add that the restaurant was full and we spent about 90 minutes there, but we also noticed a few groups staying longer, with one breaking out a laptop, so I think it's a nice place to post up. I'd definitely go back if I am back in Lausanne.

Yelp
We went to Le Pointu today for brunch. I ate the Egg in a hole and the Blueberry pancakes. I strongly recommend both. Service is a bit slow, but definitely worth going!

Yelp
A nice, trendy bar in the middle of Lausanne city center, just next to the Place Riponne. Nice environment, reasonable prices for the drinks for the locations and cozy interior. Would definitely recommend for drinks!

Yelp
The aperitifs are delicious, drinks are good, staff is friendly and helpful, and the all-over ambience is good. The déco and music definitely go with the vibe of the bar. A must-visit!
