On a recent Sunday my sister and I took a day trip from Geneva to Lausanne, and after some walking around we decided to get a late brunch. Turns out not many places are open for brunch on Sundays in Lausanne, but Le Pointu happened to be right in front of us, and the menu looked great (my sister particularly liked the gluten-free bread option), so we went in and were seated immediately at two high chairs along the window (bonus: there are outlets). We found it was very nice space to eat, talk, and have a full view of everything going on in and outside of the restaurant.
Perhaps more importantly, though, the food was quite delicious. We ordered a couple iced coffees, the avocado toast, and the eggs benedict with salmon. And we really enjoyed it all.
I'd add that the restaurant was full and we spent about 90 minutes there, but we also noticed a few groups staying longer, with one breaking out a laptop, so I think it's a nice place to post up.
I'd definitely go back if I am back in Lausanne.
