Food was authentic and tasty, but unfortunately, it was served slightly cold (roast potatoes were hot). They heated it, but the chicken was dry. Overall, it was a good experience, however, slightly disappointed. Many people were eating here so it's clearly a popular local restaurant! I would go back to try my luck again

We went for a day trip to Rouen and decided on a hunch to go to Le p’tit bec. It was a great choice! I kicked-off the meal with a delicious and rich oeuf cocotte featuring one of the local cheeses (Neufchâtel) Then I had the andouillette with potatoes and sauce poivre, which exceeded my expectations. In Paris it usually comes with mustard sauce, which I am not a fan of, so I never order it. This time however I went for it and it was awesome! To round off the meal I had a delicious apple, apricot crumble followed by calvados. The perfect meal! My wife enjoyed the chicken burger and a charlotte for dessert. All in all we enjoyed a great meal!

Nice little place with great atmosphere. Food was good, especially the gratin and the andouille sausage. Everything has a home-cooked vibe to it, which was nice. The planche apéro and the rose wine (the pot, not the bottle) were a bit disappointing. All in all, a very enjoyable experience,

Fantastic place to eat. Service was fantastic and were very helpful accommodating our 7month old. The food was fantastic. If you haven't booked you need to get there early for lunch as it fills up quickly.

Cheap, generous and tasty food! I had some “gratin” that made my day! Waitress are charming and available anytime you might need them. If you’re nice they can even make jokes 😂, I really appreciated my time there in addition to the meal itself.

Good comfort village food. We liked the tart starter a lot! Quite delicious to try this place once, but the flavor can feel a bit repetitive if more than once. Dessert chocolate cake was ok.

Delicious food, the steak was exceptional. Good wine and a welcoming ambiance. The only slight downside was the speed with which we were rushed through our meal. We had barely time to finish eating before the plates were whipped away. Our waitress however was really lovely (definitely efficient!). Situated in the old town of Rouen, so in lovely surroundings, we will be back!

Yelp
Do not go to this place if you don't speak French. The server did not give us menu until 20 minutes after we sat down. 30 minutes passed and we still did not have water. The tables came after us already ordered and enjoyed the dinner while we were waiting for water. In fact , we needed to walked up to the waiter to ask for water. The server was rude and said "no English!" We were not expecting people to know English. But what can we do when we are in a French restaurant and do not know the language? I would expect servers to at least try to communicate, not simply ignoring us. We would have just stood up and walked away if we were back in the US. However, it was almost 10pm and we were not sure if anything else would be still opening. With a 7-year-old boy with us, we had to suck it up and make sure we at least had some food. Speaking of food. The dish is super salty. I could not finish the dish even though I was starving. In conclusion, this is an average restaurant. And if you don't speak French, don't even try to get close.

Yelp
Fantastic service and food! The menu was entirely in French but the waitress was able to translate most of the dishes for us. Highly recommend the salmon and avocado salad.

Yelp
A recent day trip gave me the opportunity to spend a day in Rouen. I was blessed with very good weather and lunch here at Le P'tit Bec. Faultless food, service, and atmosphere. While I'm sure they always have excellent plats du jours, I recommend getting one of their gratins. Magnifique.

Yelp
Good food, but slow service. I had the fish of the day and it was cooked quite well - the flavors went great together. My husband had the butcher dish and found it delicious. It took forever to get things and we eventually gave up on dessert because we had to keep going.

Yelp
Extremely good spot for lunch. The regional food choices are really good. There is not an English menu, nor is it spoken fluently, but the staff is helpful and friendly. Check out the entree photos on Yelp and Google, the salads and au gratin dishes are excellent. Good basic wines available, no beer. I tried the local cider, and really enjoyed it! Thank you Yelp for another great eating spot!

Yelp
We waited 25 minutes just to get order in English when all other tables already got order, water, and wine. And I walked to a server to ask water again. She served three dishes when we order two. Food was terrible. Stay away from this restaurant.

Yelp
Le P'tit Bec is a nice traditional French restaurant located on the charming Rue Eau de Robec. Unfortunately, the food seriously suffers from a lack of finesse and creativity and service is a bit too 'in your face'. Very disappointing.
