My wife and I visited Le Reflet on an overcast Tuesday during a day trip to Paris. We’re camping in Versailles and found it easy to hop on the RER C train into the city. After getting off at Notre-Dame, it was a lovely 15-minute walk through the charming and safe Le Marais district.
We were warmly welcomed at Le Reflet, where I’d noted in our booking that my wife is expecting. The owner greeted us personally and helpfully let us know there was just one dish not suitable for her — a lovely and thoughtful touch that immediately made us feel looked after. It didn’t limit our choices at all, and the menu had plenty of appealing options.
The team were all incredibly friendly and professional, with service that was efficient but never rushed. We really liked the unique ordering system — using a marker on a laminated menu card to select your dishes — simple, clear, and completely avoids confusion.
The food was excellent. My wife had a perfectly cooked, line-caught fish from the cold waters of Brittany, which was delicate and fresh. For dessert, I had a chocolate mousse that was like eating flavoured air — unbelievably light and full of flavour. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had.
We had three courses each, a bottle of house red, and soft drinks — all for around €100, which is incredible value for such quality in central Paris.
In short, Le Reflet is a rare find: thoughtful service, brilliant food, and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Ideal for couples, families, or groups. We truly hope to return in the future.
Merci beaucoup to the whole team at Le Reflet!
