Le Relais des Trois Mas (Collioure, Occitanie) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The name is a plain description of the three Provençal farmhouses that make up the Relais des Trois Mas — left unmentioned is the dramatic setting, on a rocky cliff overlooking the Bay of Collioure. The rooms and suites are contemporary in style, and display Catalan fabrics — here you’re less than an hour’s drive from the Spanish border. A lovely garden and pool make for fine relaxation, and the relais would be capable of standing on its own; further motivation comes in the form of the Michelin-starred Restaurant La Balette, where Laurent Lemal serves Catalan-accented fare with a phenomenal view." - Tablet Hotels

What a great place to stay and an incredible view. Your own little private/public beach at the bottom of the hotel steps. The water is crystal clear but you’re gonna need some water shoes if you want to go for a swim. Do yourself a favor and bring some snorkeling gear and you will have a great time.

We stayed at this hotel during a cycling trip. The hotel is located just above a beach with access to it, and just above a pedestrain walkway along the sea to get to town easily. ||We dit not try the pool: it was too chilly during our stay, and too early in the season. ||Our room was spacious with view of the village of Collioure. ||The breakfast was heavy on cakes, but no warm food or eggs. The only protein were cold cuts. The breakfast area was a little small and our group of 26 cyclists filled it the day of our departure beceause we were all up at the same time.

A wonderful hotel with breath taking views over Collioure. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room comfortable with a modern bathroom and everything we required. But above all it was the spectacular setting that made it such a memorable stay. The town is just a few minutes walk down the hill with bars and restaurants to suit most budgets.|The Michelin starred restaurant was closed the nights we were there, but we plan to return and eat in the dining room overlooking the port.

More of a three star than four. The room was very small and poorly laid out, and was really showing its age. No real amenities either: pool isn’t heated, jacuzzi was out of order, couldn’t use the umbrellas on the deck without them blowing away. The bed was also very small — not even a queen. That said, the views were nice and the bedding was pretty good.

We have been coming here for almost twenty years, and still love it. In a quiet cove, away from the action in the village, its unique charm can shine. They have a parking lot, a plus. You will probably be walking everywhere anyway. Walkway along the water to the village starts here. The compact rooms have everything you need, with a stunning view, all rooms face the sea. There is a Michelin Star restaurant on the premises, be sure to reserve well in advance. This is a romantic place, so leave your kids at home. Has a pool, and jacuzzi, and spa. This is also an old property carved into the hillside, you will have to do steps, not good for handicapped people. Sebastian always warmly greets us, and we feel like we are coming home. Hope to be back next year.

Unforgettable weekend. Friendly, attentive hosts who really make one feel welcome. Breathtaking location. Comfortable room with everything one needs. Delicious is an understatement for the copious dinner.

This is our 13th stay here over twenty years. It was originally quirky back then, but with a different owner, careful remodeling and fixing the hardscape, it is now a world class hotel. It's probably not the best place to come if you have mobility problems, there are lots of stairs and no elevator. Also think twice about bringing children here, it is expensive and adult guests don't want to hear/see you kids running around. It's on a small rocky beach and all the rooms have what has to be one of the best views in the world. The rooms are well designed, but not huge. Each is named after an artist who worked in Collioure in the early 1900's. They have a Michelin Star restaurant that has to be experienced once in your lifetime. It was so good we ate here twice. There is a waterfront walkway into the village, maybe a mile or so. Parking is at a premium in Collioure, this Hotel has a fenced parking lot. It is always great to catch up with Sebastian, the manager every year, when he has a second to chat. All the staff are excellent, some new faces this year. Hope to be able to come back next year.
