The staff at reception were excellent. The regular staff for breakfast were not great. It was a challenge to get a second cup of coffee. The hotel proximity to beaches is very over stated. The surfing beach might be good for surfers but nothing else. And the other beach mentioned requires a car. The breakfast staff and beaches were a big disappointment.
There are not enough lounge chairs at the pool. As a result people hold them which magnifies the problem. The fitness room is tiny and very poorly equipped. We were told we should drink bottled water but none is provided, this is poor service. Guests should be advised they need a car because if the location and lack of services and amenities in the hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely rooms even though on the small side. Very clean, lovely balcony to relax after a day on the beach. Very good breakfast, lots of fruit, the scrambled eggs were cooked the way I like them. Lovely staff. Parking. The grounds are very well kept.

Berry muffins at bfast were a particular highlight, very good scrambled eggs too - it’s a massive buffet which should please everyone.
Tapas by the pool in the evening were generous portions and tasty.
Did not love the cocktails - they look great but seem to have inconsistent amount of rum and pina coladas especially weak and light on the pineapple…thinner than usual more of a coconut milky drink with some rum flavor. Order beer instead.
Pool kept very clean and amazingly always seemed to have enough lounge chairs even though seemed like a lot of people at bfast.
Dinner at the restaurant very good wish we had room for dessert!

Perfect couples vacation destination. Well maintained property, great breakfast, quality restaurant, clean refurbished rooms, with good privacy. We don't speak French, but were served with utmost kindness by the entire staff. Thanks to the whole team.

We were only booked in for 2 nights but I’d have liked to stay longer. You definitely need a car here unless you are happy to just hang round the pool - but a car is pretty necessary in Guadaloupe generally. The hotel has a good Restaraunt but you can also get fairly substantial “Tapas” style meals at the bar. The pool is nice, though the sun beds did get taken early. Breakfast (included in our rate) was pretty good and include some hot options, as well as the usual french continental style options.

Superb staff throughout the property. Esteban deserves special recognition; he would be perfectly at home managing a three-Michelin-star establishment in Paris or anywhere in the world. Good value for money and a decent sense of responsibility and care. One small suggestion for going even further: organising an occasional litter-picking initiative beyond the property would be a wonderful extension of this commitment, as well as adding dispensers in the bathrooms.

We arrived to this amazing place in the late evening and were greeted by a lady from the hotel at the reception with a refreshing cold juice and a cold wet towel to cool us down in the Caribbean heat while we were checked in. The room and its facilities were great. The breakfast was amazing with a huge choice and a lovely terrace. There is also a lovely bar to enjoy cocktails by the pool. I would highly recommend La Relais du Moulin and if we can we’ll definitely come back again.

We enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and great location. Enjoyed breakfast. Dinner menu not so great and ran out of options on the bar menu after two nights. We would book a room without the spiral staircase next time.
